When I first met Trevor he walked past me completely and straight to shake the realtor's hand. He was more interested in making business connections than meeting me -- the person paying for the inspection. I had to introduce myself by calling out to him.

Next he said looking at the house "Ok, this shouldn't take too long". Honestly don't want to hear that. Please take your time.
Well, he didn't take his time. He didn't want to go into the attic, he didn't, saying it wasn't safe to walk on the joists. Anyway the attic had a lot of issues. BLACK MOLD, rat droppings everywhere, bird feathers lying around and not enough insulation.

They obviously didn't check the roof well enough either because there's not enough ventilation and neither of the bathroom fans were vented to the outside.

One of the bathrooms was a DIY project by the past owners and the bathroom was completely, and I mean completely un-waterproofed. I didn't realize until I actually went to take a shower and saw there was just plain old drywall around the tub and water stains all along the bottom/ backside of the tub. I just wish someone would have examined this or used one of those moisture detectors or something.

These guys seemed like ok people, just not the right people to be inspecting your house. Next time I buy a house I'm just going to bring along a general contractor because they just seem to be way more knowledgeable.

A friendly team who is certainly knowledgeable in their craft. They wrote a well detailed report, along with photos. They are not cheap, but they are worth every penny! Trevor and Steve came out to do an inspection and sewer scope for us and did a phenomenal job! They were even able to schedule us next day. They explained everything well and answered all of my questions as we walked through the home. The report and video that we received was - by far - the most detailed and helpful inspection report we’ve ever seen. Truly above and beyond!!

We were working on purchasing a home and sellers didn't have a copy of their structural engineer report, so I found these awesome gentlemen. They were honest, helpful, informative, flexible, and was able to come out the next day, which worked great with our time constraints from closing. SGA is my new go-to home inspection company! They were professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and really thorough. Shamus and Trevor were able to answer each of my questions and made sure to explain their key findings on the inspection day. They provided a detailed written report with extensive photos the next day that was easy to read and categorized based on the severity of issues they identified so we had the right information to make our decision to purchase or not.

SGA was great - they provided a detailed report, breaking down items of interest by category (like repair, recommended maintenance, monitor this etc...) and provided great photographic evidence including thermal imaging. Their turnaround was extremely fast and they responded to our questions promptly. I'd highly recommend their services.

Great team at SGA! They were willing to come out on short notice to inspect a property we were looking at with an uncooperative Seller's agent who gave us a minimal time to inspect the property. SGA returned a thorough inspection and all the members of the inspection team were easily approachable and pointed items out as they were seeing them as well as suggesting reasonable solutions for them. Add to that they are one of the few companies who also will do well inspections and water analysis making them an answer to our prayers. Top Notch!

Was in the parking lot to get services through another company in this building when Trevor Rice came into the parking lot parked told me I needed to leave then informed me at the spot I was in was reserved even though he parked in his own reserved spot decided to take pictures of my car while I was trying to leave telling me to leave standing in front of my car most unprofessional person I've ever met considering all he did was Park his car get out to start a confrontation with me extremely unprofessional accused me of parking there every single day when I've only received help twice from The Establishment in this building

We used them for lead based paint testing. Trevor was super fast, responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely use them in the future for any other inspection needs on our house!

Trevor showed up early and was very professional, and nice. He explained what would happen and an approximate time-line. The sample was resulted early. We called to ask questions and got all our questions answered without any hesitation. I highly recommend using these folks if you need water tested.

Guys were very friendly and efficient. All our questions were answered and it was clear what was and was not included in the inspection. Billing was easily done online and scheduling was simple and fast. Great job. Fully recommend.

We had them do an inspection on a house we wanted to purchase. They were available within the small time frame we needed it done by. They were on time and did such a thorough job. The report had a summary and details which were categorized by things to watch and things that were an urgent fix. I highly recommend them for any inspection and will use them again if needed.

We went into mutual on a Wednesday, and my inspection report was in my hand by Friday. The inspector was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable asking questions. After everything was done, the report I was given was very detailed yet simple to digest. I have seen similar reports through friends and family in the area from competitors that could seemed much less intuitive or even downright confusing. I highly recommend this service, and we will stick with SGA for any future inspections we need!

Trevor did a fabulous job with our inspection. Scheduling was quick and flexible. The report was thorough ans sent timely. Our construction team used it to fine tune items before we moved in and it also influenced the Taylor Morrison board to improve and replace the crawl space door-pull in our closet for safety. The pull was a tripping hazard.

I have used SGA twice in the last few months as I shopped for my first home to buy. Although I loved the cute curb appeal and updated remodel of the interior of House #1, they helped me realize it was more than I was ready to tackle. In June, they helped me confirm the place I decided to buy was right for me.

Their thorough inspection was so clear during the 90 minutes, pointing out issues and answering any questions I had. Due to their recommendation, we did an additional crawlspace inspection from an expert who confirmed Trevor's estimate of cost to fix everything. We were then able to ask the seller to pay more towards closing costs.

I love how detailed and organized the written report was with photos for everything and links to helpful articles to explain certain items. The color coded, symbols made it easy to see at a quick glance a summary of everything and prioritize projects. As a renter knowing very little about systems and the interiors of a house, I learned so much.

We are purchasing a home in Tacoma area and quickly got a scheduled appointment to have Trevor and Shamus come out. A follow up trip was made out by a third individual (I believe Steve) to confirm and double check something they were unable to check into at the initial inspection. They additionally got a report out the same day of the inspection. Very quick, efficient, skillful and thorough individuals from this company. They knew what to look for and delved in much deeper than I originally anticipated in such a short time. Additionally They gave us extra helpful tips and advice for after move in that is out of the scope of their inspection.

Great service. Efficient. Only mild issue was an email stating false information which made me worry about purchasing a home. I almost backed out in tears. Then to find out it wasn't the correct issue.

I highly recommend SGA Inspections. Money well spent. These folks are great. They will take the time to explain the issues to the buyer/seller so they can easily understand. They conduct a comprehensive inspection. One of the many things I like is how these segregate the problems that they identify. From fix this now to it can wait. The SGA team completed multiple inspections during the time I was evaluating homes to purchase. Trevor and Shamus were both always professional, thorough, and punctual. I would not hesitate to recommend them for inspections.

We needed an inspection done on a beach cabin. Trevor was great to work with. He was able to squeeze us into his schedule, which we appreciated. He was on time, pointed out a lot of different things to us and we received a detailed report. We would definitely use him again!!!

First off, there were 3 people on site. It was about 2 acres, a large garage and house. They did a VERY EXTENSIVE check over EVERYTHING, I mean pictures for days! The amount I paid, which was ALOT, but was WELL worth it. Well was also intended as a pun because there is a well on site. I kept telling everyone I talked to that this was money well spent. So I am very happy.

They send you a link, with very detailed information on what they found. Everything is in it's own order, house, roof, garage, well, sewer/septic, and then you are able to click on links to other information provided regarding what they found wrong or if they found nothing wrong and their pictures. And also solutions on the issues. This company receives an A+ Thank you thank you!
