Cannot recommend them enough to those who want an honest plumbing service. Quotes are fairly priced and they are responsive when an immediate fix is needed

I just want to put out there that The Sewer Rat is by far the best plumber that I’ve come across in Bremerton(Kitsap County). Responsive, professional and punctual. They literally came and fixed an issue that could have cost thousands for under $500 and educated me on ways to prohibit future issues. Being a home owner, you may come across some shady people trying to get as much money out of you as possible. Especially if you’re not knowledgeable of certain issues and fixes. Dave is so kind and knows what he’s doing. He’s literally a master of his trade. I highly recommend him and his business. Honest businessman.

Came out twice to install the faucet, the first time the faucet all but fell out of the sink, when they came back, it's lopsided and the gaskets aren't sealed so water can drop through. My wife called, I called and when someone called us back, they asked my wife if they could talk to me instead and refused to come fix the problem.

He’s the best plumber and person for the job! He came out and fixed my drain and pipes that I did not know needed to be fixed! He’s the best he’s honest and the price for his service was reasonable and reliable! I would never call anyone else but him for any plumbing work again!

I had water gushing up through the sidewalk on my side of the meter. Robison wouldn't even send a truck out. Apex didn't return my call. Found recommendations for Rat on FB. These guys showed up, surveyed the issue and recommended Glen at Leak Finders West to pinpoint the problem. Once he determined the exact leak location, they were back on site in under 30 minutes. I opted to have them fully replace the main service line. They dug the trench and installed new pex same-day. I could not be more pleased.

I needed a length of sewer dug up and replaced before selling my house. Rat and his crew were respectful, prompt, and hard working. I received a bid from another company that included ripping out part of a retaining wall and asphalt in an alleyway. The Sewer Rat managed to do the job without disturbing either. I couldn't be more pleased.

Fast work & very reasonable rates. They're happy to share DIY tips. Go the extra mile to investigate the problem longer so they can save you some expense.

Great company! They have helped us in the past with an issue with our washing machine drainage. We recently had a bathroom with drain issues with the toilet and shower. They showed up and found two major issues. They not only fixed the problem but they moved our drain access and made it easier to access. The end price was obviously more than quoted, but was still an affordable price for the amount of work done. Thank you Sewer Rat!

I had a leak and I called Sewer Rat. They came out the next day and said it was the flashing on the roof. They couldn't help with that, but it was helpful that they identified the problem. They also didn't charge to come out, which is very helpful from a financial standpoint.

We need more businesses like this, who share what they know freely and don't get more work by leaving customers uninformed and vulnerable. I may or may not be able to do this myself in the future based on what they said, but they have earned my TRUST, and I will make sure everyone knows.

Great service and a nice man. Did a great job. showed up on time and charged a fair price. He assured me that the other pipes under my home were in good condition. He could have said otherwise - I would never have known. Honest and reliable. I highly recommend. : )

I would highly recommend the Sewer Rat. Best prices in town and quick, reliable service. I have used several other plumbers in Kitsap and the markup is ridiculous. The Sewer Rat is honest and doesn't gauge you on prices.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
