When the ADU on our property flooded due to a burst pipe, we called ServPro immediately. Dominique reassured me they would take care of everything, and they are. Devan and Michael were there that day to start drying it all out. They were kind and sympathetic as we shloshed through the carpet and got the machines working everywhere. Tracy is working closing with our insurance company. Tara keeps me apprised of every step being taken and what to expect. And the demolition team headed by Josh Scarlett did a great job clearing everything so it all dries and can be safely re-built. His construction knowledge was evident when he met with our contractor. We've used ServPro before. While I hope to never need them again, I strongly recommend them to anyone with a crisis like the one we experienced this week.

They did good work and Dana did a good job dealing with the insurance company. There was an issue with poor quality work with one of the staff but they resolved the issue and returned to make the work right. This did make the job go a little longer though so that's the reason for 4 stars.

We were very pleased with Melissa, Mike and Daniel. They all went above and beyond to help us with our problem and came the very next day after we contacted them. They were very professional, kept us informed all along the way and worked hard to find solutions to our problems. Mike and Devan were the team that completed the work at our new home. We knew that the heating ducts would be dirty, because the crawlspace had been infested with "critters" when we purchased. I had mold damage in my camper van. I took it to these guys on a recommendation not knowing what to expect. They were awesome in every way. They took my problem on as their problem right from the start. They went over literally every inch of the camper in a way that made me extremely confident in the job. I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to cleanliness and I could never have done as good a job. I felt totally safe and comfortable living in the camper as soon as I picked it up. Tara in the office was incredibly helpful and responsive to every question or request from me. And Gina, the head detailer, treated my things like her own. She cared about doing a good job in a way that is hard to find. She is a true gem. If you need their kind of service, don’t hesitate to call them first. You will not be sorry.

I had a stove/oven fire that destroyed the stove, a cabinet and some flooring in the kitchen. Servpro was here and cleaning pretty quickly. I had smoke and fire extinguisher dust everywhere in the main part of my house and it smelled like a fire.
My biggest complaint is their communication. It's not good, within the company and with me.
I'm still waiting for a list of food that was not edible from the pantry. I was told I would get this list. I've asked multiple times.
Cleaning was completed back in January. This is Feb 16/24. I just climbed up on a ladder to move something from a high shelf in my living room. It is completely coated with fire dust/debris. I know 2 shelves are done. I'll double check the 3rd shelf.
I was told all along that the team would clean my filters in the 2 mini split units at the end of the job. At the end of the job, I was told by the team that they do not do this. One the units is too high for me to safely do on my own. Just tell me from the start what is true.
Because of the poor communication, I did not have them do any rebuild work.

Water mitigation. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, good or bad, but the service I have received from Servpro has changed that.
When I discovered my hot water heater had a leak I soon had to deal with the damages. Servpro responded within hours with knowledgeable technicians to start the cleanup process. All the technicians that have come into my home have been very professional and great to work with. Melissa calls every day to let me know when the techs will arrive the next day. They show up when they are scheduled and quickly go about their tasks. They explain what they have found and what to expect.

I can't say I'm looking forward to all the repairs getting done but glad I have Servpro to rely on."

Adding to review. Changed from 5 star to 3 "I was not able to rely on Servpro to do my repairs. They repaired the floor and some drywall so I could get the hot water tank replaced but the remaining drywall, insulation and underbelly repair never got scheduled and was weeks out to be scheduled.

Also, I trusted one of the technicians who assured me I wouldn't be billed for the work they had done and would do. When I received the bill, I spoke with Brandon and he explained that this technician had no authority to make such an offer so I was charged. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed that I had been mislead.

My house was flooded do to a broken water line in our bathroom, whole house and crawl space destroyed. My insurance company said they had used Servpro and recommended them. We have never delt with anything like this so we called Servpro. Our world was very wrong and we were very displaced, the people from Servpro could not have been any more concerned and helpfull!! Special thanks to Caitlin and her team ,Ryan,Jesse,Sabre,Howard,Alyssa,Gerardo and Brittany. They were professional but very personable as they understood what we were going through and really helped us deal with being so displaced. Then the pack out crew came and all I can say is WOW , once again super professional and personable , they took care of our things like they were their own. Thanks to Alyssa, John, Kim, Jesse, Gerardo. And last but certainly not least my guy Nate, there were some issues with the rebuild but what ever happened he went above and beyond to make us happy!!!! These people are who you want when you need help.

Absolutely horrible.. young people can not even measure a room correctly. Fire them and let a real contractor take over.
I had a bid and the home repaired buy a different contractor. Before they ever called to even look at it to do their estimate. What a joke. 6 weeks later.

Shon Irwin is a great "Project Manager".

In December 2022, due to ice, we had a water pipe bust in the upstairs kitchen. It happened in the middle of the night, so the main floor and downstairs family room were flooded. Shon was with us throughout the construction phase to walk with us through this traumatic experience.

Communication is the key for anyone who is a project manager, and Shon is "top shelf". He has the ability to manage several projects at once. Working with homeowners, sub-contractors, and coordinating the phases of a project would place anyone under stress. His even temper and pleasant disposition are a great asset to Servpro.

Shon will give you a quick response to your questions. He is very professional, and he does not punch a timeclock.

It has been a pleasure to work with, and get to know Shon, these pass months.

Sewage was spewing out of the toilet the weekend after thanksgiving and flooding the main floor of the house into the basement. The SERVPRO team was there by Monday doing cleanup and starting the restoration. While it took a total of 4 months for the project due to the complexity of the clean up and repair (a 1920’s house with hazmat materials) they did a good job getting it restored and looking better than new. Also, they were reasonable priced which was a welcome factor. Their communication was great and they kept the job site clean and organized.

5 stars for the water damage mitigation team, 2 stars for the rebuild team.

Brittney and her water damage mitigation team is awesome! As the project manager she genuinely cares about you and helps you out in every way they can. Her professionalism, leadership, and communication skills are through the roof. Got the water damage dried and treated in about 2 months, Spencer was efficient and assertive when dealing with our insurance company State Farm and received our checks in a timely manner. Highly recommend the water damage team to deal with your water problems.

On the other hand, the Rebuild team was a major drag. We were even initially advised by Servpro to use someone else for the rebuild since they were "backed up". Should've taken their word. We decided to stick with their rebuild team since we thought the insurance claim process would be easier.

Instead, I ended up having to talk to the insurance claim agent directly multiple times to get the ball rolling since the rebuild estimator Scott wasn't following up with them at all. As for the project manager Joe, communication was sub par until I started constantly nagging both him and Scott to update us of the halted operations and their answer was always "we're waiting on insurance". It was pretty obvious that the rebuild team didn't care about us clients since we had to point out how amateur the paint job was, and how much of a mess they left after the job was "complete" in order for them to repaint and call a cleaning crew.

We also made the mistake of trusting them with our house keys while we had the house unoccupied, only to come home to a broken bathroom sink filled with white paint-stained water, human waste residue in toilet, cooking stove knob metal rod snapped in half, and the same stove dented & scratched. When we confronted the project manager about it he denied everything and said they didn't even use the bathroom. And that was it. We also went out of our way to close all bedroom doors so construction dust won't get in and the project manager even said they would partition the construction area. Came home to construction debris in every single room with all the bedroom doors somehow left open.

For the repaint and the cleanup, we even taped up the toilet and sink and explicitly told them not to use it and the project manager agreed. To no surprise we came home to find the tape ripped.

One good thing that the rebuild team did was their effort to match the existing wall paneling. They stained the panels to a color that very closely matched the unique 50s paneling. 2 stars instead of 1 for this!

After 10 months the rebuild was finally done. They ruined the pantry shelves with paint and plaster, broke our cooking stove, and repainted the ceiling in a color that doesn't match the wall but I'm done dealing with them. In the end the project manager nags us to leave a review. Wish they were that assertive with their job.

It's hard to believe the water damage department and rebuild department are both under the same company Servpro, they either need to change their rebuild leadership or cut them off entirely.

I needed someone to come to look at a “possible” water leak in my laundry room ASAP. I called Servro the sent Anthony & George. Man, they came right away. Very personable and professional. They found the problem right away. I could not have asked for better service from this company. I would DEFIANTLY use Servpro again and recommend them. And Anthony (Tony) & George to come out to help. Thank you guy so much. You really helped me today more than you know. And my roof was fix before the big storm tomorrow.

Our job is still not done, after 9 months. They said it would be done in 3 months. We have had nothing but problems with them. From the very beginning, they did not send the estimate to our insurance company. The insurance company asked for it, they said they sent it already, we asked for them to send it, they kept saying they did. Finally, we asked for a copy of the estimate so we could give it to our insurance company, and lo and behold, 10 minutes later it was magically sent to our insurance company. Our house sat empty,torn apart, and unlivable at this point for 3 months! The problem we are having now, is that countertops, and flooring that we chose in May, hasn’t even been ordered yet. We would not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give them a half a star I would.

Five hours after a severe sewage back up into our home, and only 3 hours since calling ServPro, the first crew arrived to begin the cleanup of the horrible mess. Mike and John took control, isolated the area
and began the process. I was amazed that on Saturday of Super Bowl weekend, I'd find anybody to lend a hand.
Each encounter over the next 10 days was was excellent. Each person in charge of the day's work summarized the work completed,
and the next step to expect. We were never in question about what was happening and when. After work for a day was completed, the office then called to confirm that day's effort and to schedule the next encounter. Very impressive. Ira was the lead following the initial clean up and I was introduced to all members but don't recall their individual names. All were impressive and a tribute to ServPro. Professional, courteous and timely all apply; a pleasure to work with. All trucks and equipment were spotlessly clean. We're looking forward to the next phase of our home's rehab.

BOOYA! Mike was FANTASTIC! He came to the house and analyzed some discoloration in my attic. I have a construction background and fairly knowledgeable, but I'm now disabled and can't get into my attic. I kinda felt sorry for him because I really taxed his brain with MANY questions... I mean I REALLY tested his knowledge and skill abilities- and he had answers to them all! Very knowledgeable and thorough - even my husband was impressed! :) We scheduled a time for him to come out, he was on time, great attitude and went right to work! He was so thorough in the process and it cleaned up nicely! He knows his stuff! When he finished the job, I asked if he would mind double checking the bathroom closet where we had a severe shower leak. We replaced the floor, fixed the plumbing, and were still airing out the area. He said no problem with a cheerful attitude. He grabbed his moisture meter and peroxide solution- looked in there, took a quick reading and said its still wet... wait a bit longer to air it out, looks good but I'm going to spray it just a bit to kill anything that was possibly left behind. HE DID! Done in 30 second and I agreed to air it out another week before closing it up! How great is that? I was a little leery about calling out a contractor to do something I used to be able to do myself.... but I gotta tell ya! Mike was SPOT ON! Straight to the point, identified things immediately and knows the right approach for remediation! I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I WILL use ServePro of Skagit County again and ask for MIKE! His area manager, Allan, is pretty great too! :) ~Tammy Van Proyen

We called SERVPRO in desperate need of a COVID-19 cleaning. I called and was directed to a very kind woman, who promptly scheduled a SERVPRO cleaning for the following morning. She was very kind and informative and I was impressed by how quickly they were able to come out.

When the team arrived, they were very professional and considerate. They worked hard, and worked quickly. After they were done, we even received a significantly discounted rate because we are a Food Bank and they said they wanted to help us accomplish the amazing things we do!

Overall, we were very pleased and would happily refer them as well as use them again.

In October of 2016, we had a devastating fire that put us out of our home. Together with Homesite for Geico, Servepro took great care of our items and cleaning.

The team felt like family. They treated mine and my kids things like artifacts to be cleaned and preserved. Taking great care to make comprehensive lists of our items and checking in when things were unsalvageable.

In addition, our family had to spend the holidays outside of our home. Servepro cleaned all of our holiday items first to make sure we had them for our enjoyment.

They went above and beyond the call of duty and returned things in the best condition. I am forever grateful and indebted to Gina and the Servepro team.

We had this company come to check out some "organic staining" in a house we were considering for purchase. This was emphasized to them. Their professional opinion was that the problem was minor and would likely cost less than $1000. We purchased this home in no small part based on this information. Who would want to buy a house with a major mold problem? Not without at least without taking the appropriate credit to take care of the job. Anyways, it comes time to do the job, and what do you know, it's much bigger than originally expected. Would be closer to 6k but they were going to strike us a killer deal to 3800, less insulation, for their mistake. When I confront them they try and say it's possible it has grown that much in the last month, contradicting their own techs who were on scene who stated that the mold appeared to be older and that the crawl space was well ventilated and that the job wouldn't need drying or anything else. They attempted to bring up that it took us a month to get them out there when actually we contacted them weeks prior but because they had bigger jobs and ours was not urgent because it was "no big deal" they pushed ours back. These people are not only apparently incompetent at their jobs, they are dishonest and completely untrustworthy. I will be notifying servpro corporate about this particular franchises poor representation of the brand. I would go anywhere else for your cleanup needs before giving these folks a call.

This company took total advantage of my flood issues, my insurance claim and completely mishandled and overcharged me for their "services". I have contacted the manager, Eddie and tried to professionally work out the issues with him but he maintains they acted responsibly. I have had professionals in the industry, another ServPro franchise and a flood mitigation expert analyze their report of the event and have been told they substantially overcharged me because they were irresponsible in the way they placed dryers (on cement walls and flooring!) as well as had dryers on defrost rather than heat, didn't pull up the carpet until many days later, and substantially overcharged for asbestos testing. I had another incident very similar to this one four months later in the same location and same circumstances and called ServPro of North Everett who did the repair in half the time and charged 1/2 the price. I will never again use ServPro of Skagit County if my life depended on it. As a business, you have to have integrity in your practices, especially in a small town where people talk. This particular franchise does not. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR HELP UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!
