We were very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of Jonathan and his crew. They built us a beautiful natural rock retaining wall and wood and hog wire fence. Green Earth was incredibly patient as we navigated some HOA red tape throughout the project. Their price was very fair and their work was meticulous. I had an issue with my garden fountain and Green Earth Landscapes sent out Jonathan to have a look. The estimate, if work, needed to be done, was free. Jonathan and another gentlemen came out and I told them the issue and they took a look and it turned out the hose inside the fountain was kinked and the water from the pump was not getting through. They saw the issue and reached up inside and unkinked the hose and the fountain worked perfectly. I offered to pay and they said no thank you, maybe just a cold drink. I sent them on their way with many thanks and money to pick up a drink on their way to their next appointment. This company was super and saved me a ton of stress. Thank you all, Sue - Bellingham

The goal was to get rid of grass in my front yard, I had no idea what I wanted, except low maintenance, Jonathan had the vision and came up with a gorgeous design, his crew was awesome, on time every day, hard working, cleaned up the mess, power washed all the stone and my driveway, the flower beds are beautiful and easy to keep up with occasional weeding, I highly recommend this company for anybody's landscaping upgrades

Jonathan is a very good listener and thought partner. He is collaborative and gives his honest opinion. He works within parameters set by budget, pets, environment, etc. and provides options to obtain goals. He has done small areas and large for us including monthly maintenance, and we are not done. We will continue to work with him which is a testament in itself. His team is respectful, friendly, keeps the area clean, and are very good at what they do.

It's been several months now and my husband and I continue to love our low-to-no-maintenance, beautifully-designed, highly functional and all around spectacular new yard! Over the last 3 decades we've worked with 3 other local companies. From now on, G.E.L. is the only landscaper we'll use because:

My yard had become a very big mess after being neglected by my previous yard guys, and was in need of a major clean-up and pruning. I hired them after seeing how great they had done at my neighbors, and would *highly* recommend these guys. Green Earth came out and cleaned it up in two days (and in pouring rain!) to get it done before the high winds that were coming in so my dying Rose of Sharon didn't blow down and wreck everything. They also aerated and weed-and-feeded the lawn. They did a stellar job, and it looks 110% better! They are super communicative and dedicated to great and professional service.

I'm so happy with my new paver patio and retaining wall, this guys went behind my expectations. Highly recommend Green Earth Landscapes.

I have been waiting for sufficient time to elapse to write this review in order to give Green Earth’s work a chance to demonstrate durability as well as for them to have sufficient time to respond to issues that arose as a result of their work, and my requests for rectification.
A little over a year ago I had Green Earth do some significant landscaping for me, from removing blackberries to installing a retaining wall, build a firepit area with large stonework, and a significant amount of mulchwork and native species planting.
They did a pretty good job of removing blackberries, but they could have put more effort in as requested. They’re still coming back.
They did a lot of mulching for me, and did OK, but failed to achieve 6” depth in all areas as requested, requiring additional mulch delivery and installation afterwards.
They built a firepit area with a large gravel and sand base, with flagstone on top, to my specifications. While they could have helped with fire ring stone selection more, I’m overall happy with their work here. They created a really nice space that appears capable of withstanding the test of time.
They built a retaining wall ~60’ long, 3’ high at most, which I had to mostly rebuild because it was built poorly with a lot of hammered-in rock fragments to support structurally, and was nowhere near flat at the top as requested. Not very fun to move 2-man stones all day long for days on end to fix poor workmanship that you already paid for. More painful afterwards upon seeing similar rock walls built correctly by skilled hands.
Finally, and perhaps most notably, they are not good at planting plants. Most of the plants they planted (>100) incorrectly according to a horticulturist, and died or were dying as a result. I replaced the majority of them, and replanted the remainder. And that was after they replaced a couple dozen that died even before they were done with all their work. I asked them to reimburse me for the dead plants, and a small amount for time spent repotting/replacing. I was ignored. So not only do they not stand by their guarantee, they’re lying on their website when they state that no one’s needed the installation guarantee.
Now all that negativity aside, I will say it was mostly a pleasure dealing with them. Those in charge are kind and personable, and while language can be a little bit of a barrier, it was mostly with the workers, and we were mostly able to overcome those issues, though it did make for some corrective work at times.
All in all, I will be giving another landscaper a chance for my next landscaping project.

Words cannot express how amazing Jonathan and his team are. We had a very broad idea of how we wanted to transform our backyard and Jonathan created a clear vision and turned our dream into a reality.

His team was amazing working morning to evening everyday for several months to create an epic haven for us to enjoy for a long time to come.

We’ve had an excellent experience with this company. Not only did we have landscaping work done, but also a shed re-roof and paint, and property clean up. All our needs were met by one company. Individually, the office, the crew, and Jonathan have provided outstanding customer service. Very reasonably priced.

Get your trucks out of both bike lanes in Bellingham. You also don’t have any cones around or before your trucks. Two men aren’t wearing high visibility working in the median, and AirPods are not ear/hearing protection. Green Earth Landscaping has done many projects for us. I refer to them as "my landscapers" to my friends. Jonathan is very professional but also a very nice person. His crews are also professional and very hard workers. They do high quality work, they work quickly and they always show up on time. I can't recommend them enough.

I have used this company many times. They are hard workers, go above and beyond and have fair pricing. They are fast to respond , very communicative, and show up on time and get the job done quickly. I highly recommend this company!!

I’m not exactly sure why a company called Green Earth would litter business cards all along the yards in Bow, but that is exactly what these folks did. You should consider taping them to people’s mailboxes next time instead of throwing them on the grass and making our Earth not so green. Highly unprofessional marketing technique.

These guys are absolutely amazing - I can't recommend them enough. The transformation of our yard is beyond what I had hoped for. We moved into a home with a yard that was so overgrown with ivy and blackberry that our Douglas fir trees were being suffocated. Jonathan’s team with Green Earth Landscape Services came in and pulled all the invasive plants out by the roots, ground down 12 stumps, revealed some beautiful boulders we didn't know we had, pulled out a rusted old fence that ran down the center of our yard, planted fresh natives and mulched, mowed, and left us with a beautiful yard to maintain.

We have used Jonathan and his crew several times for our yard cleanup. They do a great job for us. They always make sure the yard looks great and everything is complete and we are happy with the job before they leave.We would recommend Jonathan and crew to everyone.

I contacted Green Earth Landscaping when my yard needed serious help. They cleaned my gutters, did an amazing yard clean up with pruning and mowed with a great price estimate. They were fast, affordable and did quality work- all while I was busy at work! Thank you so much you guys- you rock!

Jonathan came by for free to give me an estimate and ended up letting me know what the best plan for my lawn would be especially considering I recently got a dog. Was refreshing having someone be honest and upfront about what my cheapest options are and what would be best. Very grateful.
Its been 3 weeks since I gave the above review and i am beyond thrilled with the job Jonathan and his crew have accomplished with my backyard area. I thought i would be able to load the before and after pics along with the review but I don't see that option. I want to show off the amazing job cause it turned out even better than i could have hoped for!

They did a great job with my landscaping projects! Turned out better than I thought possible. Jonathan gave good advice and guidance on how to approach the projects, and I am so happy with the results. They worked quickly, cleaned up perfectly, were very pleasant and professional throughout.

Jonathan and his crew weeded and mulched a couple 100 feet of my woodland border, while carefully preserving the native plantings. They also removed numerous dead trees, weeded the orchard and and fought back the blackberries for another year. I’ve hired Green Earth before and am always happy with their work.

Jonathan and his team have been prompt and very helpful in completely revamping our yard, front and back. They installed a new flower garden space, installed raised beds, fencing, retaining walls, removing trees, planting shrubs and plants. They have been incredibly helpful and very detailed. Jonathan and his team are prompt, courteous, and professional. They have great ideas that stay in my budget, and leave with everything cleaned up.
