SERVPRO of Romulus/Taylor

After your crew said they were done I inspected the the job and found it unsatisfactory. They left insulation hanging down off of heat and return ducts. I also found a large sheet of plastic which I dragged out myself. We discussed the job before they started and thought they understood this was just a general clean up to remove fallen and torn insulation and light clean up. Over all the job was satisfactory.

All the workers were great, but there has been a long delay in building back the damage. More than a month has gone by and there has been no progress.

Overall I am very satisfied. Project manager extremely helpful and caring. Project took too long. Did not give a 5 star because of flooring company used. They finally finished the job to my satisfaction.

Jeff came right out and assessed what needed to be done. Alex and Eli came in and did an excellent job. They were professional and courteous. They explained each step they did and went over and above. Would definitely recommend them!!

I shared a not so good review of my service with the company. We have talked and disagreed on the final adjusted payment. We did both agree that the crew should have finished the job they said they would do. For that reason they reduced my payment. I have since deleted my first review and am happy with this decision. I probably won't call them again but I appreciate that they called me back and reconsidered my situation

Efficient, thorough, and excellent results. SERVPRO really delivered a great carpet clean after the prior company I’d been using decided to step back from residential cleaning.

They came out promptly, took care of the flood water, dried out everything and cleaned carpet ….like it never even happened..!

I had an insurance claim and they contacted servpro to handle the mitigation portion of it. The project was done fast and poorly. They ripped out my old vanity and left the lines leaking. I had my new vanity next to the bathroom to be replaced not knowing it was leaking and the whole bottom now has water damage. I called to get this fixed the lady on the line was talking to me like I was stupid and told me to contact plumbing. Absolutely not when it’s leaking due to servpro improperly removing the old vanity. The project manager Jeff doesn’t return voicemails. I would highly recommend staying away from the company. I spoke with progressive who stated they have a contract with Servpro and they take complaints extremely serious. They need to be held accountable and they will be.

Estimate and contact person lead me to believe I was going to get quality work. In reality work was done fast and poor. Not all listed in estimate was completed. Was charged the same. Carpet was pieced together with multiple seams. Not the work I thought I was getting. Simply said, if it is a small job. Be aware that you may be cheated on the work. I was very disappointed. Work complete but would not use again.

Alex and Brandon did a fantastic job, were super friendly, and kept us informed of what was going on throughout the day.

Thank you for your service. I had a basement back up and they came in and steam cleaned and sterilized my basement. They were through and left my basement smelling and looking great.

I couldn't be more happier to spend time in our basement instead of just running down quickly to do laundry, thanks to Mr. Richard & Mr. Darryl. There were some hiccups in the initial service call appointment & we were considering canceling the project. However, Mr. Richard & Mr. Darryl walked me through the process, made sure I understood/agreed to the service that would be rendered & worked thoroughly yet with a sense of urgency. The final team that came into our home after our water damage was, Project Manager Jake O’Donnell and crew members Jerry G., Steve R., Shawn F., and C.J.L. Again, I can’t say enough about them all! Jake assured me that the team is really good at Tetris while we stored our furniture at home while work was completed. He was spot on and paid attention to every detail of our contents. Jerry, Steve, Shawn and CJL, were friendly, kind, professional, hard workers and extremely conscious of replacing all contents to the original spots. This was 1 of 3 different teams from Serv Pro we had in our home, thank you, thank you, thank you for being so good at your job, we truly appreciate your kindness and encouragement.

Servpro was contacted regarding our water damage by our insurance company. From the start of the project to the now completed project, they've been amazing! Had a basement backup with dirty water and Alex and Dave were able to come do the assessment, give great advice on damage mitigation, and did a fantastic job cleaning to prep for the restoration team!

Serve pro I will never use this company again I’m actually thinking of filing a lawsuit against they took a family antique piece of furniture from my home and told me it was being repaired only to find out they destroyed it with out my permission the pain and suffering they have caused me is terrible and they lied and they didn’t compensate me in any way just told me to contact my insurance company

I cannot say enough nice things about the excellent clean up that Alex and David did in our home after our cold water supply line snapped and flooded three rooms. They were helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and always on time! Even when it was late on a Saturday night! Serv Pro had my basement sanitized && cleaned in an 1.5hrs within arriving. It’s pristine after a flood. Alex & Chris did a great job. I’m super happy with the service they provided!

SERVPRO did an awesome job. From start to finish. The crews came when they said they would, explaining every step of they way. Restored our bathroom back to new, like our pipe never broke.

Servpro came into my house to repair water damage, they was very professional, polite and took care of business. They cleaned up all the mess, I would highly recommend them.

BE WARE OF THIS SCAM. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. This branch needs to be shut down for insurance/invoice fraud, failure to adhere to basic consumer rights, and absolute awful customer service. We contracted ServPro to be an end-to-end restoration company after a tornado left a large and uprooted tree on our roof. ServPro stated this would be a hands-off process and that they would care for everything from quotes to payments. This service should have included tree removal (including rootball), tarping of the roof, roof repair, and AC replacement. The only thing Servpro did for us over the course of a month was tree removal - without even removing the rootball. After communicating that this removal was required by our insurance due to safety risks and potential damage to utility lines, ServPro took no action for > 3 weeks and stated we would have to get this done on our own. We ended up contracting out our own AC repair, roof repair, and rootball removal. ServPro then charged our insurance company DOUBLE what any other tree service quoted us. On top of this, the itemized estimate (provided to us AFTER the billing) showed completely inaccurate information including number of trees removed, location of the trees, and the type of tree. I believe this was done in order to increase the cost of the service to financially benefit ServPro. Our insurance provided us the right to withhold funds until the services were satisfactorily provided. We took up out complaints with everyone including franchise COO (Cody Michael) and Corporate SVP (Mark Shaughnessy). Mark falsely provided hope that he could help make things right - even stating that ServPro does not provide consumer protections - yet, took zero action. We received an email the next day from Cody w/ Mark Cc'd stating "because insurance paid you, you have to pay us even if services are unsatisfactory or wrongfully billed." Cody has then denied us any retribution for ServPro's mismanagement and misbilling of our account, failed to update the estimate documents to reflect actual services for over two months, and continues to charge us interest and lien fees when there is an ongoing billing dispute. Overall, I would never use ServPro again nor recommend it to anyone - even my worst enemy. They do not care about their customers, illegally remove all of your consumer rights by forcing you into signing an "Emergency Service Contract" when you are in distress, and then inflate their bills for their own gain. DO NOT USE.

My contents crew team- Steven, Sean, and William and the Project leader Jake, were all fabulous. They were on time, quick, professional, and extremely helpful during a very stressful time after my basement flooded. Even Rebecca in the office was amazing with answering all my emails and questions. I would definitely highly recommend using Servpro Taylor for all your needs!

It turned into be one of the worst days that I’ve ever had and they made it better by the end of the day.they reassured me that they were going to be able to put this house back together. Project manager, Justin, Copley and Alex were very compassionate and took the time to sit and listen. I feel very confident moving forward with having Servpro Repair the damages .The rest of the crew, Travis, John, and Rich and Darrell. They all did a wonderful job. Don who came out to extract the water from our flood and get our basement dried out was extremely pleasant, professional and was able to answer all our concerns. James the project manager came out for an estimate was also pleasant to work with. The only reason we decided not to have them re-do our basement was the fact my husband had a couple weeks off and decided to do it his self. Otherwise we would have had them do it. Servpro is the restoration company working at the Meadows Of Southgate from the devastating fire. I want to acknowledge their work and dedication to the tenants there. One worker in particular has went above and beyond in helping me. Maynard is a very compassionate, caring and patient worker. He always has a smile on his face and the patience to listen and care. All the workers there have worked hard at the complex. But Maynard has definitely taken extra time and patience with me. During this devastating time of losing my home, and almost everything else he has had nothing but compassion and kindness. There are not many people like him in the world anymore. I appreciate him more than he will ever know!! I recommend this company for any of your restoration needs!

This particular shop is terrible! They came out and took care of the initial problem which was water under my crawl space and then they did such a good job I decided to hire them for the rehab and rebuilding. They were able to Bill my insurance company for everything else but not able to Bill my insurance company when things got strung along for the back door and now they are taking me to court for a $500 door avoid this place at all costs. They charged me $2,000 for a $500 door that I had to locate myself and put charges on my account without my knowledge never asking for money just adding saying that they've waited too long stay away from these people!

The individuals who worked at my home were thoughtful and were understanding of my loss. Travis and Steve had outstanding work habits and it was a pleasure having them in my home. My highest recommendation.

Donnie & Johnathon are the best! They arrived right when they said they would and walked us through the entire process of drying out our basement after a sump pump failure from an extended power outage. I would highly recommend them for any property restoration needs and we will use them again in the future if we ever need to.

Donny & Jonathan led the project to clean up our basement after a sump pump failure left us with 4inches of water. The whole team that initially showed up to do the tear out were prompt and careful not to do any more damage to belongings that were (very much) in the way. It was clear to us they were happy to be working with one another and were even patient when our three little girls wanted to peek at their progress. Donny never got aggravated at the amount of times I asked the same questions over and over, and just reassured us everything would be handled between ServePro and our insurance. I would happily refer anyone to work with this company and would go out of my way to use them should the need ever arise again. These guys work hard, they don’t complain, and they take pride in the work they do. Thank you, Serve Pro!

Have been in contact with them. Multiple times had gave them the number for the supervisor of the insurance company so they could get paid. Never reached out to me to let me know that they had talk to him. I guess they were waiting till they got payment but the funny thing is the insurance company mailed me the check what idiots, but in fairness, the initial guys that came out for the restoration were awesome, but they honestly sent a crew of idiots to pack our stuff
