After our initial call, Tracy promptly arrived to assess the damage and provide insight into the drying process due to basement flooding caused by a faulty sprinkler system. Throughout the process, this crew demonstrated professionalism, maintaining open communication and guiding us through the necessary steps to restore our basement. Josh from SERVPRO took a look at our damp restroom subfloor this afternoon. He looked at it from above in the restroom itself and from the drain area below in the garage. He determined that all the floor really needs is drying out with a heat lamp for 2 days. Between his visual inspection and his use of a moisture detector, he determined we don't need to replace the subfloor. It is structurally sound as it is. He was friendly, professional and saved us a lot of money!

I was devastated by a flood at my house and Rory, Mike, Jeff, and Cody were at my home when I needed their help checking walls and extracting wet carpet pads. Greg was super helpful as well.
They were polite and kept their appointments. They had great machinery for drying out the wet floor. If things were unexpected, they let me know with their best answers. I am so thankful for the time they spent in helping me with recovery.

Have you ever had water dripping in your dryer and an extremely hot dryer because of wet lint plugging up your 18 foot dryer vent? Well I have! Dylan and Rory from Servpro worked on my vent not once, not twice, but three times to remove the hair tangled, moist, unpleasant lint.Thank you Dylan, Rory, and Servpro!

Servpro left me with more damage and more mess than I started with. Never hire this company or you will deeply regret it. Inexperienced trainee dropped a hammer on my expensive hardwood floor. They never came back to clean up all the drywall dust mess and I was left to clean it myself. I was told several times the would come back and actually clean the mess but it never happened. There is so much drywall dust packed into the grooves of my hardwood floor because rather than clean it up they just walked on it for weeks packing into my floor telling me they would make sure to clean it. Between that and the hammer being dropped on my floor I have to pull up all this hardwood flooring and replace. THIS COULD'VE ALL BEEN AVOIDED BY CLEANING AS THEY GO AND BEING CAREFUL WITH THEIR TOOLS! They say they'll "make it look like it never happened" but my house actually looks worse after having servpro over. They tracked so much mess all over my house!! It is still messy and I've been cleaning myself for weeks. What did I pay these guys for? The rebuild manager even came over and made a comment about how filthy and messy it was and he told me he'd talk to franchise owner and make sure I get taken care of. It's been weeks and I have heard nothing from franchise owner despite many attempts to have him call me. If you have a flood in your house heed my advice and hire any other company than servpro! Absolutely horrible experience!!

Several months ago we had irrigation water damage that home owner's insurance would not cover. Rory the project manager who was very kind, helpful and was great to explain things to allow me choices to keep the cost down. The workers Taylor, Jackson, and Kalob were very courteous and professional along with the crew chief Kevin. So impressed with Eric, a sweet delightful soul who went above in how he cleaned the carpet. I’m very happy with their service to our home and their goodness to us ❣️

Servpro of Bountiful is an outstanding company! They helped us with our recent basement flood and honestly, they have been lifesavers! A big crew came so quickly after my call! They were kind and calm – just what I needed! They worked very hard for days taking care of every little thing. Ashley was such a great communicator and several times each day would give me information about what was happening and what was next. She also was amazing when she broke the bad news that in addition to our flood, our Hot Water Heater went out and was spraying her guys. She helped me see the silver lining. LOL There was one! They also helped me quickly find a plumber to replace it at a good price. I give highest praise for every single Servpro employee that worked on our basement! I discovered mold in a back closet. Servpro took care of the problem. The service men were professional, explained the whole process, were on time and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend ServPro!

Servpro of Bountiful came in to help me one week ago when my sewer backed up. Kevin and Ashley and their crew were so calm and helpful. We had the best experience with Servpro a couple of weeks ago when our Master Bath on our top floor flooded and ruined 2 stories in our home, on a late Friday evening. Servpro was at our house within 20 minutes and worked until 3:00 am. They informed us the entire time of what they were doing and what needs to be done. When my water damage began it was a nightmare I asked my insurance agent who he would use if it were his own home and no hesitancy he said ServPro crew. I called and they’re mitigation team were right on it. I felt lost, but Rory and Spencer were so kind and calm and patient and with my frustrations always willing to answer my questions all along the way. They figured out where the leak was coming from pretty quickly. They and the rest of the crew were always on time and respectful of my home. If something seemed amiss they spoke up right away. I am so impressed. Now, I await the restoration team and expect from their example that they, too, will make me feel just as much at ease and confident that my home will be my home again quickly. Kevin and Charlie came over early on a Saturday and did a great job with a water damage cleanup. Kevin answered all of my questions and Charlie was very helpful cleaning up. Great service and I will use them again if needed!

We hired ServPro to mitigate a water issue in our basement. They were at our home within a couple hours of calling. Greg assessed the situation and helped us understand what it would most likely cost to fix. He was outstanding. They couldn't have sent anyone better! SERVPRO of Bountiful is a disaster We had a flood and two teams showed up to take care of us quickly. The cleanup teams were friendly and worked hard. They explained the process and paperwork and answered all of our questions at the time of service but it all went to hell. The team was understaffed or overcommitted on our cleanup. The team seamed like it was call all your buddies to come help with this and we will pay you. They sucked up all the water they could out of the carpet, sprayed some sort of antimicrobial and disappeared for a week with our content sitting on wet contaminated carpet. I confronted them about it and they came and put some metal pads under the couch feet until they could get us back on their schedule. Meanwhile secondary water is growing stinky for a week. Called and complained about that and they came and sprayed some more antimicrobial and put some fans on the carpet. They eventually arranged for a pod and their team came out and boxed up our content and put what they could fit in the pod and got rid of the carpets. They didn't have enough room for content in the pod so they tarped up the beds and the rest of the stuff left behind and turned the fantastic and recommendable asbestos abatement team loose to clean up some stuff. Servpro had an unjustified lead paint test performed that most insurance companies don't cover to add another $400-500 to the overpriced tab. Two weeks later we opened the pod and it smelled like a dead cow inside the pod. Their team had put some wet content in the pod in the middle of summer... I called and complained and they sent out a manager to remove the wet contents and apologized. They looked in the pod and told us to just leave it open to air out. Keep in mind we had all of our clothes, couches, and kids mattresses in the pod with the dead cow smell. That would not just air out.
Due to Servpro's negligence, I ended up hiring another abatement company to come clear out the pod, inspect and clean everything in the pod and put it in storage. They also removed all the extra content left behind in the basement by Servpro. I will not be using overpriced Servpro services again nor would I recommend them. They have since put a lien on my house for failure of payment.

Having never experienced a water issue which caused a flood in my home basement, I was really relying on my home insurance people to get me started in the cleanup and repair that needed to be dealt with. They connected me to Servpro Bountiful and I’m really glad they did.
Right from the start of assessing the situation, the moving of furniture, the mitigation, the drywall repair, the painting, the replacement of furniture, the plumbing and finally, the carpet cleaning was handled in a timely professional manner. I never felt forgotten or “ put on the back burner “.
Everyone, and I mean everyone at Servpro Bountiful are very understanding, helpful and considerate.

We recently had a water leak in our home that caused some mold damage. After feeling like we were getting taken advantage of with prices with different plumbers, working with Servpro of bountiful was a breath of fresh air. Jeff and Adam both were so upfront and honest about what work really needed to be done vs what didn’t, broke things down into different price categories and explained pros and cons to each. I felt like they were very fair and honest which is hard to come by these days. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me on unnecessary things. Jeff and Ashley came and did the job and were very professional, then Adam came back a few days later to clean up and do a check up. I felt very well taken care of and will for sure use Servpro in the future for all my disaster needs

We found bad mold damage over the Pioneer Day weekend. We tried reaching out to at least 4 other businesses for mitigation and nobody responded. ServPro responded quickly to come look and give us a quote. They were able to start the next day as well. They did a fantastic job cleaning and worked with us well since we couldn’t use our insurance. Rory, the leader, was amazing. He took the time to review everything with us and made sure we were all on the same page. Kevin did a great job on site. Maggie in their office was super helpful and nice. Would use them again in the future (hopefully never have to!)

Servpro cleaned up some flooding from a main sewer line in our basement. They were very professional, quick to respond and really tried hard to keep me informed as a customer. Overall an excellent experience! Kevin and Charles did a great job taking care of us and making sure we understood their process.

I met with your estimator earlier today and he told me it would be a rough estimate of $5000, that doesn't seem realistic at all, an additional $150 to get an exact quote. I was unaware of this. He then proceeded to somewhat measure with a pencil and paper I do free measurements with a laser and an iPad which gives me precise measurements. I do not understand why your guy would charge $150 when I could have been more accurate and saved that amount. He also told me he is sending in a team of 10 people. I don't understand why it would take that many people so if you could explain that. The guy was extremely unprofessional and I will NEVER consider this location or company.

We used ServPro to clean up the water damage in our laundry room. They were professional, responsive, and kept us in the loop the entire time. We had a pipe break and ensuing some water damage. Servpro did an excellent job and handled the entire project start to finish. Shoutout to Hayden for being extremely response and thorough as well as to Lane for his attention to detail as well as precision and communication in putting our rooms back together.

Our French drain outside the basement door backed up due to the excessive underground water from snowmelt and rain this month. Called Servpro on a Saturday and Andrew was on-site in just over an hour of calling. He quickly assessed the situation, explained what needed to be done, and completed work and cleaned up in a very efficient manner. Would highly recommend this company when dealing with emergency cleanup!

Such a great company! Rory was first on the scene when our house flooded and he was very helpful at explaining everything that was going to happen! SERVPRO was extremely helpful as soon as we realized we had a flood in our home. After speaking with Tonia about our situation, she had a crew (Mikey, Jonny, Gilbert and Spencer) at our house within an hour. Tonia was in contact with us and the crew the entire time. The crew had all of their mitigation equipment ready to go on arrival. During the demolition process, the team was very careful to keep the damaged rooms sealed off to avoid other parts of our home from getting dusty. Tonia and Mikey were very thorough in their explanations during the entire process. During the entire process, SERVPRO was professional and kept me informed of the daily plan. I would recommend SERVPRO to anyone who is in need of help with water damage.

We had a pipe leak under our kitchen sink & water trickled down into our finished basement. It went into a basement bedroom mostly we were devastated. We started to dry our carpet.. We had a water leak in our newly finished basement. Servpro responded immediately and assessed the leak. Within a few hours, the water was removed and drying equipment set in place. We are so grateful for the Servpro Team and Rory who arrived on scene so quickly. He also assisted in helping my wife to understand the process and ease her nerves with our disaster.

Update June 2022 -

As luck would have it I had a long-term water leak in my basement that had caused a huge amount of mold damage behind the drywall. Coty with ServPro again responded extremely fast, got the problem solved, and handled the whole thing with my insurance. It couldn't have gone better given the circumstances. Again, 10/10 would recommend Bountiful ServPro and Coty in particular for any relevant job. Mikey also deserves mention as he was great as well.

I had a unique mold issue that I wasn't sure a company would be interested in solving as it wasn't a traditional job. I contacted ServPro and Coty stopped by the same day to take a look at the problem. He was knowledgeable and professional, and came back with a very fair quote within a day. Over the several weeks needed for this project Coty was great - super communicative, helpful, and produced excellent results. I'd easily recommend these guys to anyone who has a mold problem to solve. If I ever have another project, or even just an issue with my own home, they'll be my first call.

They are very friendly and their work is great!
We did have some lulls where we were wondering what was going on and why things weren't getting done, but the project manager later explained that they had to wait on companies to order material from.

Servpro is Amazing!!!

I have known Josh Grimstead for over 15 years but never had to use there services except for carpet cleans until now. On Thanksgiving weekend we had a sewer back In our downstairs bathroom and laundry room causing damage to our freshly remodeled walls and flooring. I was quite distraught when I called in on a Saturday afternoon thinking our home was destroyed.

Within an hour Rory showed up to assess the damage, help me file a claim and go to work. Rory was courtias, kind and had empathy towards my situation and emediatly calmed me down. It took 3 days to clean up the mess, dry everthing and sanitize the wet areas.

As soon as things were dry Hayden came out to do the repair estimate and start lining things up. Daniel was sent out to do the repairs in a few days and he was amazing.

At first I was skeptical that my house would be put back the same but after seeing the finished product "It's like it never even happened"!!!!

I loved the service Hayden and Jeff gave me. Both of them attended to my needs as well as everyone who came to work on my house. They listened to me as I wanted to make changes, and got everything done as soon as they could. I feel like the communication between departments/office could be better. I ended up nagging them to get the job finished, but once the restoration team heard, they came to help right away!

They came quickly when I first found I had a water problem. They were kind and courteous even when I was quite distraught by the situation. They worked with me to find the problem and get the information to the insurance company. Every person who came to my house was friendly and didn't mind that I asked a number of questions. The people were honest about what they could and couldn't do as well as what would likely by covered by the insurance. Even though the damage was extensive and took over a week to dry, I was always happy to see the various technicians show up to check on the progress. Coty was the person I dealt with most frequently and can highly recommend him. I am planning to use this same company for various jobs in the restoration process simply because everyone I met was so wonderful.

Mikey and Ethan did a great job dehumidifying our kitchen floor after a dishwasher leaked. Everything was clean and professional. And thanks to Jeff for the assessment and take down. I will definitely recommend!

Servepro is awesome. However, the Bountiful/NSL office is a NIGHTMARE!!! Their service was responsive and quick. However, the billing and follow up has been a mess. They came and provided service and were supposed to come back to provide a new fan because it stopped running. On the first visit they gave us a carbon copy piece of paper with an ESTIMATE on it. The technician even said someone will get back to you about your final total for the service. We were in the middle of a remodel and didn't give it another thought, but never received anything in the mail or any form of communication until months later we get a call from a collection agency. Then call the office to find out they have a new billing manager who couldn't have been more defensive and rude about the whole thing. Hoping no one else has to deal with this. Unreal!!!

Fantastic carpet cleaners! They got out tough stains! They used protective equipment so that they didn't damage our furniture and walls.
We are very pleased with their carpet cleaning service. Thank you!

To be determined, the work is not completed yet. The insurance i think is moving slower than planned. I do have a complaint about a lady that answers their phone. With a strong accent. She tends to be quite rude and never has any answers or if she does the correct answer.

I originally wrote a critical review concerning ServPro's unprofessionalism and unresponsiveness. Since my posting, I received from the owner of ServPro of Bountiful, Josh Grimstead, information that shows he actually is responsive and was manipulated by our AAA Insurance Company as well as us. Because of his response and the information he provided, I am reversing my original 'one star' post to a 'three star' post. I am, however, warning those who may be AAA Insurance customers, they may be at risk for underhanded denials when filing claims with them.

We had a drain leak within our upstairs bathroom wall, which ran down the drain pipe to the bathroom/laundry room wall downstairs. Because it was hidden within the walls and downstairs ceiling, we did not notice the leak until we felt wet carpet outside the downstairs' entry into the bathroom and laundry room.

Immediately upon discovery, we contacted our AAA Insurance Company and a plumber to fix the problem. As the walls were opened up, extensive mold and fungus were discovered. Our insurance policy included mold/fungus coverage as long as it is hidden within the walls and ceilings.

We contacted ServPro of Bountiful to remediate the mold/fungus. ServPro's Production Manager came to evaluate our damage. He took various readings and pictures. Because of COVID, the AAA Insurance Company's representative stated they wanted ServPro to give them a virtual picture tour of our claim, which they did. Unfortunately for us, ServPro's Production Manager gave an opinion to the insurance field specialist while giving the tour, that a visible water mark on the ceiling just above the wet carpet had probably been there for several weeks. The opinion he gave to our insurance, was used as justification to deny our $10,000 coverage for mold/fungus remediation and restoration. AAA Insurance decided they were going by the opinion given by ServPro's Production Manager who stated the water mark supposedly was visible and not hidden for more than the seven week deadline for policy coverage.

It was later discovered by two of ServPro's remediation employees when they removed the ceiling that had the water mark, that there was absolutely no mold or fungus in that area requiring remediation. This was a fact...not an opinion. If this had actually been going on in that one visible area for more than several weeks, there undoubtedly would have been mold/fungus.

When AAA Insurance was contacted with this additional fact-based information, they refused to reverse their original decision which they had based on an opinion given during the virtual picture tour to deny our claim. They stated that they felt speaking with ServPro about the facts rather than the opinion they used for denial wouldn't change anything.

ServPro does need to be vigilant when providing insurance companies with virtual picture tours that they don't offer any opinions before actual facts can be determined. Not all insurance companies are ethical. Some insurance companies or some of the personnel who work for them may be ‘fishing’ for any excuse they can find to get out of covering legitimate claims their customers make. All of us pay our insurance premiums for years thinking that if our insurance actually becomes needed, we will be covered. In our particular case, when facts should have overruled the original opinion given, the AAA Insurance chose to ignore facts. This cost us $10,000 in coverage which should have been paid according to the mold/fungus provisions in our policy.

Being an Architect, I am aware of the often difficult relationship and tensions that can arise during a construction project. So I was pleased to discover I had hired a construction company and their excellent Project Manager, Curtis Bingham, who communicated well, listened, and worked with me to accomplish a difficult, complete renovation of the English Basement apartment of a 1907 Bungalow house I own in Salt Lake City.

That the job was successful and a pleasurable experience is even more remarkable because I live in Virginia, and I was not able to come across country to inspect the progress of the work during the pandemic. As of this review, I have never met Curtis in person, his excellent crew, or any of the talented subcontractors who provided their skills.

The age of the house required completely redoing the plumbing & electrical service and bringing it to code, upgrading two bathrooms, replacing the interior and exterior doors, repairing the interior and exterior walls, painting the walls and ceilings, providing new lighting fixtures, new kitchen cabinets and cupboards, flooring, and closets. In a word, about everything.

The reason this job went so well? Trust. Curtis' excellent communication skills, work ethic, honesty, and a willingness to be my partner made the difference. When I needed to talk to him, he responded quickly. When he needed me to make a decision, I quickly got back to him. The proof of working together is in the result: all those who have actually seen the finished apartment say it has been transformed from a hag to a runway beauty.

If only all construction work could be this much fun! I couldn't be more pleased.

I had a long project to be done on both levels of my home following a flood. Having worked with Servpro before, I called them for help. They came so quickly with a large team and began the water damage cleanup. They were all so kind and helpful. After everything was torn out and dried, a new crew came to do the repairs and put things back together. The person I worked with the most was Doug, and I can't say enough about how great he was to work with. He went over and above to make my home damage "like it never happened"! I can't thank Servpro enough for everything they did. You should have Servpro on speed dial.

Great! My 80 year old aunt Bonnie had a sink overflow. Dee and Jim were on time, efficient and very courteous. We thought there might be some water damage to the cabinet and wall, but they did a thorough check and found it to be ok. They could have said there was, and charged us for it, and we wouldn't have known the difference. Instead, there was just some wet carpet. What could have been very expensive, just ended up being a $95.00 carpet cleaning. My aunt couldn't have been more happy, especially since her neighbors all told her she was going to be taken advantage of.
