I realize that one year has passed since the project was completed, I can try and explain the situation but ultimately Mike was an absentee contractor. He only came to the project once. He never looked at the completed job for me, (not being a contractor and builder), I didn't realize the construction job and minor problems would turn into bigger problems. His sub-contractor Jesse always gave me what felt like a legitimate excuse when something wasn't quite right. To give you a little context, I have 5 very busy boys and at the time my husband had just been in a serious bike accident. I was full-time everything. I was the full time contractor for the job. Mike NEVER picked up supplies. He came on-site one time to pick up a ladder. I coordinated all the bills and supplies and made numerous trips to the deck and supply store.I also had to constantly hear Jesse complain that he was not getting paid. Something that slowed the progress down repeatedly. Mike was so out of the picture. He never met me to look at the project upon completion. He just told to pay Jesse directly in the end.

I would assume that a deck that cost $24,000 would at least hold up a year. My number one concern is the broken beam, which is a NEW problem, would have not been seen last year. This is making the trex boards bulge up. In other areas the screws have come out completely, also a new problem with just poor construction. Other problems like the railing wriggling have worsened over time. Jesse said that's just how it will be for the span of the railing. Again another excuse that I probably couldn't deal with a year ago.

I realize that Mike will come up with every excuse possible to cover and protect his reputation. I know he has other happy clients but I am not one of them. It makes me frustrated that the workmanship was poor and the deck is not holding up. I would like him to come and replace the broken beam and repair the bulge, and replace screws that have popped out. But I would also like others to be prepared for Mike and the lack of participation and professionalism that he showed during the whole process. I thought I was hiring someone that would be hands-on with their subcontractor and check their work, and do the finances, and pick up materials. But that all fell on me. I am not a contractor and yes my judgment and trust was put in what Jesse kept telling me, it's fine. But ultimately it's not fine. The deck has some problems that could have been solved if Mike actually came and looked at the work but he NEVER inspected the final job and was only on-site once. That's my frustrations.

Mike sent his assistant to install shower and faucet hardware— extremely unsatisfied and not fixed— Mike came the next day and fixed it. However— now 2 months later— shower head is leaking and caused damage to ceiling beneath the shower. A certified plumber came — the shower head was not screwed in!! Don’t use this company!

I had one scary problem my lights would flicker out of control, upon googling it, flicking lights could cause a house fire or a surge of energy that can blow out electronics, tv or gaming systems, I called ProCareMan after I called many others with no response, I was a bit scared of paying to much or getting ripped off, but that wasn’t the case here I really got what I paid for a PRO CARE MAN, who fixed my flickering light problem through the process of elimination and found the source of what’s causing it, ProCareMan Is the one I recommend, honest, friendly and knowledgeable, I couldn’t be happier with my service and my home safe again.
