SERVPRO of Augusta/Waterville

The ServPro team from Augusta/Waterville, ME that we worked with were well equipped, very skilled, very professional and did a great job removing two types of old insulation from the attic at our home. I would use their services again and highly recommend them.

The ServPro boy Anthony who ran into and out of our house within 30 seconds to verbally claim $3,000 would be the 2-day estimate to dry-vac and clean up a small dirt-floor cellar (appx $200/hour if they worked at it for 8 hrs each day,) said the price may sound high but "he had employees to pay." WOW! We didn't know the CEO of ServPro came to OUR house! Naturally, Anthony is an employee in denial. I am the CEO of an international LLC with many contractors and employees, working around the clock, so his fibbing didn't fly well here. We seek a written estimate You know, a written estimate, like professionals do. (He also showed up 1 week earlier than the actual scheduled time. Again, trying again to fib, claiming that mine was the scheduling error.) This is the newest review, but ServPro just buried it in with 4 month old reviews, exposing only 5 star reviews. You should read all the reviews here... including the newest ones they try to hide.

What an amazing group! Professional, informative and kind!! We could not have asked for better! They understood our needs and made it happen. As a business owner for over 30 years, I can recognize excellence.....and Servpro of Augusta is simply the best!!! Well done!

If I could give more than 5 stars for our servpro team I would. After experiencing a fire on 5/19, we weren't thrilled with the idea of having strangers in our home touching, cleaning, and going through everything we owned. From day one, the servpro pro team turned an awful event into something much more positive than we could have ever expected. They came every day with smiles on their faces and worked their tails off! They became like an extension of family. They worked hard, answered all our questions, respected our property and space, and truly changed my childrens and grandson's feeling on what happened. They would even spend their much deserved breaks entertaining a 3 year old boy who was just head over heels for them! We all looked forward to them coming, especially him! Thank you Jim, Sam, Carli, Amber, Leo, Frank, Jasmine, Armando, and the whole team. You allowed our family to create fun and funny memories with you all that have replaced the negative feelings that could have come from the fire. You all will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Crew was very professional and did actually what needed to be done. Everything was cleaned and picked up before they left.

We have used Servpro multiple times on back up of water claims and most recently a large soot claim at our 2nd home in a fairly remote part of Maine. Jordyn and Jasmine spent a couple weeks cleaning the home from top to bottom, 3 levels including the basement. These two ladies are top notch and did an amazing job. My wife is a cleaning fanatic and they exceeded her expectations. Thank you Servpro for taking care of us in our times of need. We also drop off of braided rugs and area rugs once a year and have them cleaned at a reasonable price.

We would highly recommend this company.

We had a burst pipe in our house and ServPro did the removal of the walls, floor, ceiling, insulation and then all the mold remediation work. Their work was super clean and careful and their people were fantastic to work with. Highly recommended.

I recently contacted Servpro of Augusta/Waterville needing their services. Blake came to the property the same day I called. I received an estimate as promised the next day , the work was scheduled 5 days later and completed as stated in their estimate. I strongly recommend Blake & Servpro. They are terrific.

If no stars were allowed I would have chosen that option.

On December 19th my son's house was significantly damaged by a storm. Serv Pro was quick to initially respond, but then seemed to vanish. When we would reach out, Blake, not sure what his official title is, would tell us all the things we were wanting to hear but then zero follow through. We were in constant contact with my son's insurance company who kept telling us they were still waiting on documents from Serv Pro. We then would leave messages with Blake, to which we would get no response. At one point, after weeks of silence, Blake reached out and told us he was still waiting on insurance information and had recently spoken to them. My son's insurance released him from working with Serv Pro weeks prior and would not have talked any further with Blake since we had moved on to their preferred provider. I will say the receptionist was always a joy to speak with, and I know she can't control Blake's responses.

I totally understand that Augusta got hit hard with a couple of storms, and that they were busy, but they should have communicated that and been in touch. We were not hounding them, as if we were the most important account they had, but we wanted to make sure that we were making progress. There are liabilities with the insurance company to prevent further damages. We understand there were others that had suffered far worse damages, and we were willing to wait, but when they stopped communicating and we caught them not being truthful, as far as working with my son's insurance company, we moved on. I do not recommend them at all and can only suggest that buyer beware.

***** Since I can't respond to the owners reply, I'll do it here. No, I do not agree that they are the best around and in hindsight am glad that we didn't work with this dishonest company. I addressed in my review knowing that they were extremely busy and we were more than willing to wait. In fact we had called another company and they point blank said that they did not have space to take on another client right now. I respected that answer and perhaps you should have responded the same way. It was the not calling back when you said you would, leaving us in the dark about the process and plan, and then being dishonest about communicating with the insurance company. Nothing more, nothing less.

They came immediately in the middle of the night when our hot water heater burst. Very professional. Jerry and Matt did a wonderful job with the demolition necessary. We were even able to save some of the materials because they were so careful. Jim, our project manager, Made the process seamless. Matt and Leo did the final cleanup and our basement looks wonderful! Highly recommend!

Thank you to the whole Serv Pro team that responded to our call for help. Jim, Ramano, Gavin, Matthew, Dennis & Jack. We appreciate everything you all did to help us out during those difficult days. You are an awesome, knowledgeable, and responsive team. You made us feel at ease with all that was going on. Your reassurance was very much appreciated.

Great people very professional. I had to do the wrk. But if I could have I would of had them do the work. They helped me alot.

If I could give negative stars I would. My husband and I had a house fire in November 2021 our insurance company recommended Servpro and so did several other people at the fire department Blake was the person we were working with and he came out gave us an $11,000+ Estimate For a myriad of things that needed to be done. that never ever happened repeated calls to this company And his cell phone yielded absolutely nothing for my family of six other than false promises of “we will be there” one excuse after another of oh everybody had Covid and then oh we had other properties with a large amount of water damage and then oh will get back to you week after week with no response the worst service I think I’ve ever had from a company. I mean for Pete’s sake we had a fire and four children and that didn’t really seem to matter and the price tag was rather high but my insurance agreed to pay for it. In the end We could not wait on this company because contractors needed to come in the house and had to go a different route Blake never had any intention of actually doing what we needed done and lost out on 11k.

When we woke up to a flooded basement (a basement that has been completely dry since we've lived there almost 18 years) we had no idea what to do. We called ServPro and within a couple of hours Matt was at our house assessing the damage and soaking up the water. We had 3 layers of flooring that needed to be removed. Anthony and his team were professional, quick, on time, and extremely thorough all the way. They were very honest about what needed to be done and provided assistance with our insurance company. They explained all of our options so we could make good financial decisions, and their work is superb. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They took a very overwhelming and upsetting situation and made it manageable. I can't thank them enough!

Anthony and his team were a extremely easy to work with, they kept an accurate schedule and were very professional. I had an estimate within 48 hours of first calling their office and they hit my deadlines. The estimate was exactly what I paid. I will use Servpro for any future needs their services provide. Blake said he would send 3 to 4 workers. On the first day only to showed up. A man and a girl they worked 5.5 hours. The next day only the man showed up he was a hard worker but after tiring himself out trying to do a great job the quality ddeminished. When the woman went on lunch break the day she worked she told us she went out through the locked front door. Upon closing our home up we realized Jessica had loocked the door and the 200 year old key was missing. Kind of left a sinking feeling in our hearts. Very discouraged with this division.

Blake and his team did the clean up quickly. They were courteous and understanding of the difficult time our family was experiencing after the fire.

Edited - Post-service - would like to commend Blake for excellent customer service and assistance with scheduling. The cleaning crew arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the entire home cleaning job to our satisfaction. We greatly appreciate the work done and would use again and/or recommend your company to others. The company also does exceptional post-service follow-up. Thank you.

Edited — after contacting the company and expressing my EXTREME displeasure and advising of my dissatisfaction in return calls, a company manager contacted me and was very professional, offered no excuses and sincerely apologized. Information was given and possible resolution was offered. Post will be edited further upon final outcome.

After MULTIPLE calls and finally someone comes out to estimate...a week passes and MORE follow-up calls and still never received estimate or scheduling. Made it obvious they did not want our business - thanks, we’d expected better from other reviews - not sure why we weren’t good enough to be a client.

These guys are incredible, In February I had a 6,000 sqft building flood from the AC unit in the attic and the entire building was ruined. Blake and the crew were out there quickly assessing the damage and acting just as fast to get it under control. They maintained constant communication and timely service. They worked overtime to get the job done and I can't speak highly enough for their service. Well worth the cost.

It was very upsetting to have water cascading through my ceilings as it was. Then to find out they would need to be ripped down. The people from ServPro were professional, understanding, and explained everything so clearly. The rooms were cleaned really well after the demolition. They saved the dining room wood floor. We were very impressed and appreciative.

Anthony and his team were onsite within hours of my initial contact with ServPro to address a water damage situation at my home. Anthony truly went above and beyond to ensure all material damaged was removed and he saved expensive hardwood floors through an extensive drying process. He provided updates on a regular basis and was very responsive to any questions.

I was very impressed with the service of this company, I requested an estimate and the rep responded with a phone call the same day that I called and we were able to set a time that was more than reasonable. He was prompt, professional and very thorough. If we decide to use restoration services, it will be Serv-Pro for sure.

Had a flood in the basement, AKA family room, was late at night, called Servpro. They arrived as quickly as possible. Anthony Wolverton was the gentleman who arrived. He assessed the situation and explained all paperwork and processes to us very well. He worked until the early morning hours, removing water and getting furniture off the wet floor. He left equipment to start drying things out and was following up later that day. Our insurance would not cover the mitigation due to it being groundwater from a plugged drainage pipe, so we had to dismiss the process. Anthony graciously made adjustments to lower our bill. Really appreciate how quickly they came to help, their knowledge, and willingness to work with us on paying the balance on our bill (water mitigation isn't cheap,especially outside regular business hours). Due to the quick response, we were able to salvage most of the furniture and items in the basement. I definitely recommend this company.

I can't say enough good things about ServPro of Augusta. We had a massive water leak from our toilet and it pretty much ruined our entire downstairs living space and ServPro was there as soon as we called them. Anthony and his team were prompt, friendly and very thorough and made a stressful situation so much easier for our family. Given the excess damage, they were still in and out very quickly and left no mess behind. I highly recommend!

The Servpro in Augusta does professional, timely and fantastic work. The cleanup team, Carol & Ed, were courteous, friendly, informative and efficient. The owner, Anthony, followed up twice to assure that the clean up was complete and safe. He too was courteous and professional. The entire team helped when things were pretty stressful and we appreciate them very much!

Thank you Servpro! Our pipes burst in January and flooded our house while we were away. Servpro came right away and worked quickly to get the water dried up, our things moved to storage, and all the damage out. Blake was very kind and respectful and kept us posted on everything going on. I highly recommend!!

Blake and his crew did an excellent job getting us fixed up and back on track. It was snowing pretty good the day the work was scheduled and they still got here and got the job done. Excellent job and very professional. I was hoping to get this done so my family could use camp for hunting and explained this two Justin. He went out of his way to get extra people on the job so this could happen.He even completed the job earlier than expected. My camp was immaculate and everything that needed to be cleaned was sent out and returned in labeled bags so that I knew which room to unpack them in. Very professional and reassuring in a tense water damage situation, these folks did work well and on time, and kept within their original budget. Easy to communicate with. 5/5 would hire them again without a second thought.

Wow! I had Amy and Allison at my home to complete a post construction cleanup and they did an Amazing job! I was very pleased with their kindness and willingness to complete the job to my satisfaction. It was a pleasure to work with Servpro of Augusta and I would again!! I had a severe mold issue in my bathroom. ServPro came out quickly and assessed the situation, then worked with me to quickly and efficiently remediate the mold issue. Very helpful and professional. I would use ServPro for any project, large or small.

Anthony and his team at SERVEPRO of Augusta are phenomenal! When a pipe busted and flooded the lower level to our home my wife and I were absolutely overwhelmed. We made a few phone calls and SERVEPRO of Augusta assured us and responded expeditiously despite us being over an hour north of Augusta. SERVEPRO Technician Allison and her crew were on scene the same day, very quickly despite the distance. They reassured us and went to work immediately carefully moving furniture and getting our home dry and clean. Anthony worked diligently with our insurance to ensure all was squared away and less for us to worry about. The SERVEPRO team worked very hard for three days to ensure our home was dry, clean, and mold free. I can't say how thankful my wife and I are for the professional, diligent, and rapid response from SERVEPRO of Augusta. I hope you will never need their services, but in the case that you do, it is very comforting and gratifying knowing that Anthony and his team are more than ready, willing, and capable of getting the job done.
