We had our first of three major projects done by Semia Renovations in 2021. This was a complete kitchen remodel. There were several challenges with our project, not the least of which is that we have no drywall so they had to work around the existing wood walls and floors. Kevin was great at helping us with our vision and planning. He connected us with wonderful partners for the granite countertops, cupboards and drawers, and more. We couldn't be happier with the results. My husband really got tired of my "I love this kitchen" comment, but he enjoys consuming what comes out of it!

The second project was converting our carport into a garage. In my ignorance I thought it would be a simple project but it really posed some challenges due to the existing structure's dimensions. Kevin was great at problem solving to address those issues. He also was super helpful in finding a suitable exterior because the old growth, thick cedar that is on the rest of the house exterior is not available any longer. We are very pleased with the outcome.

The final project that Semia completed last summer was the replacement of a deck that was failing. Again, they came in on budget and did a very good job.

If we have any more major projects we will definitely be looking to Semia to help us. Kevin Ryan is knowledgeable, an excellent craftsman, is connected with local resources, and a good communicator.

We have hired Kevin and his team at Semia Renovations for various projects at our home. The last project was quite extensive and required coordination between multiple agencies for permitting. His team is courteous, quick and very clean leaving the work site spotless once they leave.

Semia Renovations repaired the front exterior of our home. They replaced the siding which had deteriorated and the Tyvek waterproofing wrap and the studs in the walls which also had rotted. So we had no walls for a short time as they replaced it all and was better than new. They added a stone wall to the front and Hardee Board and Batten to the second-floor exterior wall as well. They replaced all the windows in this section since we had it all torn out and they were 30+ years old.

We had a substantial master bath renovation along with several other projects. Kevin's staff was so easy to work with and had many great suggestions for the work e had done. We have used SemiaRenovations twice now in our three years of living here. The first project was adding a shop to our property and we were very happy with it. Another project that we just had to do, has been a drainage one, to correct what had not been done properly. We also added items to make sure we have proper drainage on the property. We had water sitting in our crawl space, our lot sloped right to our bedroom, it was a mess. But pipes have been replaced, drains added, a lot of dirt brought in, sump pump, and we feel so much relief that the system will function the way it should instead of water leaking everywhere. Kevin is very knowledgeable and organized. The people he has work with him have all been extremely hard working, very nice, knowledgeable and would not hesitate to have any of them come back and do another project at our home. They clean up at the end of each day, Kevin goes over what they have done, if you have any other questions, send him an email or a text and he gets back with you.
