What people say about “Seattle Mold Experts”?

Customer feedback is mixed regarding the company's services. Many positive reviews highlight the team's quality of work, attention to detail, and high ethical standards, especially in difficult projects like deck repairs. However, there are significant concerns related to customer service, particularly with a lack of knowledgeable support when inquiries arise. While most customers appreciate the final results and guarantees offered, the inconsistency in communication and assistance has left some feeling frustrated. Overall, there's a strong emphasis on the quality of the final work, but the communication aspect presents challenges.

Team is great, the work is really good. You can see how detailed they are on working and getting everything into a great final project. You do need to be very flexible on times/dates. My project needed to be done in steps/coats and then time to dry, but I did feel it extended a bit and not just because of the weather.
The final coating didn't look great and came back to get it to a good spot. Very Thankful! work Ethics 100%

i bought one of their tub and shower repair kits at a big box store. after following directions for the first part i had a question about the finishing product in the package. the person i spoke to in customer service had no idea of how to use the product or what it was all he kept sying to each question was "rub it in, keep rubbing it in".

As a general contractor I work with alot of different sub contractors. These guys get my highest reccomendation. They bid 2 very difficult decks for me and ran into big unseen problems. They handeled it all with very minimal extra cost. Very rare to find people in the trades with this high standard of ethics.
If you need waterproofing done these are the guys to call.

After a year of having our deck leaking to the floor below, about 20 different businesses coming by to try and find the problem, give us bids (up to $30,000!!! with no guarantee that the leak would be fixed) and then not follow through with what they said.
Pahlka Waterproofing fixed our problem! Also replaced our failing wood railing around the deck.

After having the run around and stress of 1 yr, I am happy to say Pahlka Waterproofing fixed our deck leaking problem and gave us a 5 yr guarantee! We had Duradeck on our deck when we purchased our home and it failed almost immediately after we moved in. Pahlka was the only company to come by and know the problem immediately, fixed the problem, guaranteed their work and was very PROFESSIONAL and AFFORDABLE!!!! Worked with Dain and he was great!

We could not be happier to hear the rain! Knowing we do not have to worry about our home being damaged!

They came to our home as needed to do each step of the process, very professional and kind. Called if they had any delays, called and came by if we had any questions or concerns, answered emails quickly, gave the bid quickly! If you have dealt with any construction type businesses you know this is a rare find! I HIGHLY recommend Pahlka Waterproofing for saving our deck, home and sanity!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
