We hired Scott to fix a sagging porch roof. He did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, for less than the initial estimate, and he did an excellent job and cleaned up well afterwards. Highly recommend.

Scott was very knowledgeable about replacing our windows framing and did a great job at letting us know what our options were, cleaning up once done, and communicating with us. He paid attention to the details and it came out looking very professional.

I recently had Scotts Custom Construction and Spokane Handyman Service work on several projects at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results! They installed two new glass block windows and two exterior doors, with full paint preparation included (caulking and spackling). They also handled the door ordering, permit, and delivery. The new Smart Key deadbolts and doorknob sets that were installed look fantastic. Additionally, he expertly replaced the wood under my kitchen sink, installed and stained two new interior doors, repaired an interior door, and installed a new front threshold, door sweep, and weather seals. Even the garage back door got a new Smart Key doorknob and door sweep, and they also replaced my exterior dryer vent. I highly appreciate the attention to detail, especially the sanding of my front door for new staining and polyurethane. Thank you for making my home more beautiful and secure! Scott was reliable, honest, and friendly. He clearly was dedicated to doing things right! My entire construction/repair project was an enjoyable and successful experience.

I needed a hole in my roof overhand repaired, along with the soffit underneath the hole. The work was done over 2 floors up and included roofing material replacement (shingles, flashing, subsurface, etc.) and finish work including painting. Scott not only did a great job with the repair, but did it in the winter, outside, and from a ladder set up. It was really amazing.
Scott also took many pictures to show me exactly what the damage was and the progress of the repair. I felt continuously informed. I will use Scott's services again when I next need a repair requiring skilled carpentry.

Scott is seriously a master craftsman. I had him out to replace 20+ feet of siding on my house to prepare for painting. There were a few things he had to work around that an unskilled person would have had to hire out before they could fix it. Scott, however, came up with fixes that saved me money and look fantastic! Would not hesitate to hire him again for any future projects!

Scott came to make a quick repair to my eave. I was leaving on vacation and had a couple boards that had come loose that were a little too high for me to climb my fat *ss up there. He fit me into his schedule after hours, was quick and did a great job. I was thinking as he was angling his brad gun back and forth to create a "V" with the brad nails...that's exactly how I'd do it. He also took care to make sure the tongues were in the adjacent grooves and everything lined up before he started nailing. He also secured the surrounding boards out as far as he could reach, just for good measure. It's nearly impossible to get somebody to do something correctly nowadays. Highly recommended.

I was searching for a good handy man. I came across Scotts Custom Construction and read good reviews about his work. So I decided to give it a try. Scott did not disappoint us. He did a very good and efficient job. He was very courteous and pleasant. I highly recommend him.

I originally hired an unlicensed and uninsured worker to install a counter top. He ended up destroying our 1959 craftsman style kitchen cabinets and the new counter top. I was extremely distraught. My kitchen was unusable. Over the next 30 days, I interviewed four contractors. They all wanted to demolish the rest of my kitchen and install new cabinets. We just wanted it repaired, and slightly modified. Scott listened to us for diligently, and thoroughly examined the damage. He was the only one who said that the repairs and modifications could be done. He wasn't the pushy salesman type, like the others. By the end of day two, I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness.. This craftsman is just Amazing! He goes above and beyond what you expect. He is very efficient, works hard all day, and cleans up before leaving. I recommend him very highly to everyone I talk to about our kitchen.
