Recently the living room ceiling developed a leak. Having used Capstone in past projects, roofing etc. they were my first call. Being quite familiar with Gary I contacted him. He was very responsive as usual and booked our project for assessment and budgeting. Gary and the estimator located the issue quickly and work soon began. Josiah and Zack were the primary field personnel and truly great people. Sure would like to see more people like them. The roof location not only was repaired but improved upon. Inside the home the area was screened off to prevent dust migrating. Work was finished in short order and with little disruption for two work from home homeowners. To conclude We are very impressed with Capstone and their quality minded personnel. Certainly will use them again.

My mother-in-law had her bathroom redone and Capstone Construction and they did a good job.
Took a little while and with true construction style it took a few trips to finish but over all, it was a job well done and the end result was a very beautiful little bathroom. Thank YOU

Came home from vacation to find a leaking hot water heater. Master bathroom, master bed room closet, pantry and back door entryway was flooded. Call Capstone Jr and his crew Aaron and Ben came out and removed the soaked flooring and stared the dehumidifying and drying process. The replaced the flooring and insulation as well as the support structure they installed new linoleum throughout the kitchen, pantry and rear entrance. Also replaced the bathroom linoleum. We amazed at how much stuff had to be removed. Trim boards and the kitchen island. Floor mounted cabinets in the bathroom and rear entry way. The work was professionally and quickly accomplished. Could not tell anything had ever happened. Almost a year latter we had a manufactures defect appear in the kitchen linoleum. Contacted Jr and he immediately came out to investigate the problem. He ordered new linoleum and when it came in he had a crew Aaron, Zach, Ben and James come out and dismantle our kitchen and rear entry way to replace with the new linoleum. They quick and efficient. They again finished the job promptly without a trace as if nothing had ever happened. We same enough good about this courteous team of hard working men. Jr himself assisted as needed throughout both projects. We high recommend Capstone and this professional team to tackle any project or disaster you my have.

Would highly recommend. JR and his team were very professional, had great communication, and we couldn’t be happier with how the work came out. They have gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the renovation, and made the whole process incredibly simple and stress free!

Don’t do it! Please save yourself from future hardship and problems. Someone Ran into my Garage two summers ago. The gentleman that hit my garage had State Farm. The insurance agent and Capstone facilitated payment. They weren’t able to fix my garage until I waited almost a year!! The job was never completed as the bricks don’t match the others. They called me to say I owed them money before they would complete the job after being fully paid and paid extra for them to make my garage functional before full repairs as agreed with the insurance agent of the other party who drove into my garage. They have also sent me personally a bill for a job they had organized with State Farm and all costs and payments verified with one another. Nothing extra just what was needed and agreed to by both parties. They also added interest charges acquired during the time I waited almost a year to have part of the job done! I highly recommend a company that will not start a predatory practice of trying to collect money not owed and unfinished work! When I spoke with Jay I believe his name is he just laughed at me completely unprofessional.

I can't say enough about Capstone in Spokane. They were professional and followed thru with what was discussed. I love my kitchen after a water leak. The guys were very nice. Thank you for my dream kitchen. JR and James.:-)

Great service, prompt and responsive. Friendly staff and all contacts positive. From the first contact the experience has been excellent. The workers at our home were great, paying attention to detail and very thorough, punctual work. Josiah, Zach and Gage were a pleasure to work with. The last week of the job, with Zach and Josiah finishing up, was well done and ahead of schedule. They were a great crew and the company overall is dependable and timely: one we won't hesitate to call again.

We are very happy with the work provided by Adam and his team after a tree fell through our roof in September. He kept us up to date on the work provided and they did an excellent job. This company is very dependable and honest. I would greatly recommend them to anyone needing repairs.

Capstone worked through all the insurance issues surrounding significant hail damage. Our project manager, Adam Christian, was amazing to work with. He was thorough and remained in constant communication throughout the process. The work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely use Capstone again!

Excellent customer service, quality, and reliability. I had water damage work that needed to be done and was fed up with the company I had on the job. I called capstone and Brooke was out within the hour to start on the project. She was so knowledgeable and thorough in finding trapped moisture. Ronny became our project lead, and I’ve never had a project manager be so communicative! I always knew exactly what was happening and when. And when we went over the proposed list of items to complete he was extremely thorough. Shout out to Don the estimator who was also great. The regular flooring guy did really a pretty perfect job, I was impressed and I’m the type who looks for every imperfection. The wood floor subcontractor was also very good and was more thorough than I’ve had in the past. And the quality of the products is holding up well to lots of abuse. Capstone is a really quality company that actually wants to do right by their customers. Good value for the money too, I had them lay more flooring because I thought it was very reasonable. I didn’t know anything about the company when I saw their billboard and called, but I’m so glad I did! I would highly recommend.

Had a big restoration job done - it was hard and stressful, Capstone went above and beyond to help me with the insurance company and the multitude of questions I had. A special shout out to JR and Ben who were responsible for my project. It turned out perfectly.

I had to have my front door replaced after the original contractor did a terrible job. Capstone stepped in and fixed it beautifully. I’m so happy with the results! While it took some time for the new door to be made, Capstone kept me updated throughout the entire process, and I really appreciated their clear communication. If I need any more repairs in the future, I will definitely use Capstone again.

I am super thankful for our experience with Capstone. Marty is super helpful and professional. What I really appreciated was that Capstone was way more conservative in assessing the damage caused by a cracked water line on the back of our fridge. A previous mitigation company said that we would need to tear our whole kitchen out because of water damage near the fridge and on one cabinet. We were going to have no access to our kitchen and needed to have all kinds of work done. Marty gave us a second opinion that involved only tearing out one cabinet and cutting out the sub flooring where there was damage. We were able to keep our appliances in place as things dried out and still live out of our home. Once our vinyl came, Marty and his crew came quickly and fixed everything up. They just rebuilt our cabinet so that we didn't have to get brand new cabinets all around. They even re-bracketed our loose dishwasher. We love the way it looks now. Everyone I interacted with at Capstone was super friendly, helpful, and courteous. The interactions of the crew members were impressive as well which is not always the case with construction companies. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing some damage repaired in their home.

Gary and his excellent crew took care of our insurance repair. Zach and Colton went the extra mile to keep us functional during demo and replacement of our floors and cabinets, even putting the sink back in so we could use it over weekends. Their work was excellent, from big picture to detail. Clean, prompt, polite, and thoughtful. So glad we went with Capstone!

Capstone Adam and his team replaced my roof in 2020. Adam took all responsibility for the projects. He responses from the calls or questions very soon. Today my home had other problems at attic need to be fixed. Adam and Alex worked couple hours and solved all problems. He also blew out my roof leaves. Adam and his team worth 5 stars! We had a great team from Capstone restore and upgrade our basement after a flood. JR, James, Richard, and Ben completed a high quality job and were extremely professional and kind throughout the entire process. They really exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Gary was an incredible manager of the team remodeling our bathroom after we had a sewer leak. He updated us almost every day on what had been completed and what still needed to be done. We wish we had used Capstone for the mitigation as well, with how through everyone was and quick to pick up the job.
Zach was in our home most days, doing almost all of the work. He was always on time, gave us updates as the days went on and was one of the hardest workers we’ve had in our home. Capstone Construction (CC) did a great job in helping us with our unplanned kitchen and bath remodel. After a couple of our pipes burst, we had the opportunity to redesign and update our guest house kitchen and bath. CC helped in updating the space and worked closely with us on areas that we wanted to handle ourselves in order to save costs. Eric Lance is a rockstar. He went above and beyond throughout the project, and helped make the experience collaborative and efficient. CC—find a way to clone more Erics!

Zach has been so great to work with. He communicates well, shows up when he says he will, and is kind to interact with. He has a positive and joyful attitude and did really good work. I would recommend!

A frozen pipe caused a huge flood in our mother’s house. The damage was extensive and seemed daunting to repair. The job site was about 45 minutes from Spokane and many companies were not able to travel that far. We discovered Capstone and gave them a call.

Capstone took the job and did amazing work! Gary was our lead and kept us updated with progress every week. Things progressed on-time and stayed on budget. Even the smallest details were attended to. We did a walkthrough of the house and were amazed at the transformation.

I am so glad I came to Capstone to address some repair and renovation issues on my home. I admit I dreaded doing this project, fearing that I just didn't have the skill set to work with a contractor.

I needn't have worried. From start (reception squaring me away right away and meeting an owner who personally engaged) to estimate by Mark to work on the house by an exemplary foreman and team to finish with clear info on next steps/final payment . . . everything was exceptional. I hope it doesn't sound strange to say that the process was fun . . . because it was.

Rarely does one work with a company where EACH and EVERY person involved is professional, communicative, friendly and competent. That has been the case here.

Work was timely and appointments kept exactly. Because the communication was so excellent, I had few questions. Those I had were answered very clearly and treated with respect. Advice was perfect on discretionary things where I enlisted the experience of the team. And my home is beautiful!

We are very thankful for Capstone's quick response to a water leak in our basement due to a crack in the foundation. We were very impressed with Brooke who came out to do the work. She was professional, courteous, and communicative. She was a pleasure to work with and to have in our home. We were completely satisfied with the work she did and would not hesitate to contract with her and Capstone again!

After a tree landed on our house during the windstorm of 2021, our insurance company recommended Capstone Construction to repair the roof. They did an excellent job of repairing the damage and we were pleased with their professional fix-it-right approach.

When a leak in our roof in 2024 sent water into a bedroom closet, the insurance company recommended a different contractor for the emergency tarping. This contractor nailed the tarp and further damaged our roof. I told the insurance adjuster that I wanted Capstone to assess the damage. Capstone promptly arrived, and when given the go ahead by the insurance company they completed the repairs which included removing old layers and re-roofing about half the house. Once again, they did an excellent, professional job.

I would highly recommend Capstone Construction.

After a city pipe broke and flooded our house, Capstone Construction came and started work. They replaced carpet and linoleum and restored the side yard. They did great work. Richard and Ben were very professional and polite and Aaron also helped with installing the carpet. We are very pleased with the work and that our house is livable again!

These guys (Ted and Jamie, and their crew) came in and redid the flooring in our office after a flood ruined it. They did a fantastic job working with us to make sure we could keep doing our jobs while they got the floor replaced.
The job was done in a timely manner given the circumstances of the project, and all the workers were friendly and very pleasant presences in our building. The floors look very good, and you can tell Ted wants nothing but the best from his workers. Would definitely recommend their work, especially with how nice and flexible they were to get our job done.

When fire caused significant damage to my 3 story, isolated, rural home several companies declined the reconstruction job. Capstone said "We got this". Their crew, led by Jay and Dave, did a fantastic job, the home is beautiful and better than it was before. Attention to detail and personal contact made a difficult time much easier to get through. If I could, I would rate Capstone a 10. We could not be happier with the efficiency, professionalism, and quality of work these guys and lady did for us. We had a repeated water leak from a faulty pressure switch that damaged our ceiling, walls, floor and wainscoting. It was a mess! They are worth the wait!!! Thank you Danny, Brooke, Jay, David, Bryce, Aaron and any other person on this team.

Capstone was amazing from start to finish. We had a flood back in April and capstone was at our door within hours. The heart and soul of this whole operation was Brooke. That woman is a workhorse and a leader and she took command of the whole situation and guided the crew and got in there herself and handled the initial phase like a master. She returned to our house virtually every day to take moisturereadings, but I swear her commitment was so great that it was like she was taking care of her own house! You could really feel that she cared.
Next came Gary months later to plan out the restoration, get all the materials ready, and then when the work began, This crew of guys putting our house back together again were fantastic. They were all friendly and very careful and courteous. They were with us for 4 or 5 days and I couldn't have cared less how long they were there because they worked clean and they worked as efficiently as possible and they put our place together beautifully.
There was Josiah and Zach basically leading the way with the rest of the crew and they came back as necessary to fine-tune some stuff and just to make sure that everything was perfect.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this company. Brooke was really the standout star from day one and even though she wasn't involved in the later restoration, it was her focus and attention that really made me fully believe that I was in the right hands with the right company.

They happily take your money and then they can't keep track of the contracts or things they say. If you dare work with them keep your paperwork and be very careful. They didn't even ask if we have our paperwork, which (We Do -But they don't) but I don't ever want to deal with them again. 30 year roof done in 2011 is leaking. They came and looked at the flashing, said they would come back, never did. Now it's winter again My parents had them do most of their work for many years but now they say it's not their problem. Capstone Construction successfully completed a computer room remodel for Safeway in our Spokane DC. Very happy with the finished remodel, quality excellent! J.R. Silva was the PM and did an excellent job.

Communications regarding project status and on site activities could have been better.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. This company did exactly what they told us they would do. They were on time, very efficient and the work was superior. The communication was excellent and any questions we had were answered promptly. Anybody that comes into our home can not tell that any work was even done. We had a pipe break in the bathroom of our mobile home at the end of August. We called Capstone recommended by a friend. Don came out and said we would need to first dry out the area prior to an estimate. Don sent Kirsten to do the work. Kirsten not only did the work efficiently but went beyond the call of duty. She would call and set up appointments and kept the water heater going for showers and was so respectful not only of our home but us. We highly recommend her for any job you might have.

If you can avoid working with them I recommend that you steer clear of them. They will come on site quickly to start work but not keep you informed of any costs and double book hours for labor and equipment if you have multiple issues going on with the home. I had an additional leak happen after a dishwasher issue and the contactor was already coming to the home yet they charged travel time and work that was being done for one issue to both projects. Once they were done they disappeared and never presented a final bill or explanations until 4 months (I was waiting for them to come back for further estimates and projects and at this time a 4 month delay was par for the course for this company) later I get a late bill threatening to increase the cost even further. During the restoration process they often did not come on days they were supposed to and never told us which was very difficult because the person in that room worked from home and had to change her schedule around when they would be there. All in all, poor communication, dubious charging and billing practices, unwilling to work with a customer when presenting any of these issues. Owner basically told me that he wasn't going to change anything and hung up on me.

A few years after work was done, it was uncovered that they had not installed GFCI outlets to code. They would not stand by their work, nor provide any documentation that the work was permitted by Spokane County nor inspected. I have been unable to locate any permits filed with the county regarding this job. Buyer beware.

Due to storm damage, Capstone Construction removed and replaced a large part of our roof. All of their services and work was excellent! We highly recommend them!

My shower pipe broke and flooded my basement and damaged my bathroom. Brooke was at my house within hours assessing the damage and digging in to look for problems. She was an amazing person to work with and so incredibly kind. She communicated everything clearly and was extremely responsive to answer any questions I had. Enter Marty.. Marty was a delight. Nicest guy on the planet. He was so patient and helpful. He gave me great ideas when I asked. He definitely went above and beyond. When it was go time he brought Karen along for the ride. Also one of the nicest people I've met. They worked so well together.. helping each other, joking around and they just brought a positive energy into the house. They worked and completed the remodel so quickly and professionally. I would recommend Capstone to anyone looking for a professional, caring, and positive crew to help with any project need.

We had a pipe break in our home leaving 6 inches of standing water throughout the large basement level. Our insurance company directed us to Capstone and we are incredibly grateful that they did. Brooke (my personal hero) and her team were incredibly hard working and communicative for all the initial clean out and clean up. That process is stressful and tedious but they absolutely know what they are doing. Jay and his team did the remodel work - they were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and kept in constant contact. We are talking a project that took 5 months and I can cheerfully tell you the finished product is wonderful. Thank you Capstone!

I appreciate the willingness to make extra changes to improve the property from a fire damaged condition to a beautiful apartment that improved the environment for the people who live there. The staff were friendly and once the job got started, everything went smoothly. Thank you Adam and crew.

We contacted a couple of restoration businesses after a rental house of ours was involved in a significant fire. Capstone was chosen for our job because they were extremely thorough with the assessment of needed repairs, professional with their bid, courteous with their responses and appeared to be very honest with their judgement of the needs.
Due to the age of the building and type of older construction of this rental house, Capstone took on the challenge. Because of the fire damage, many areas of the home were affected. Capstone coordinated the work efforts of each specific part of the house and brought it back up-to-date while following the building codes of our rural town.
The project manager (Gary Compton), proved to be outstanding. He continually communicated the progress throughout the restoration process, which we greatly appreciated as we had chosen to “stand back” and let the construction folks do their job. Gary put us, the homeowner, first. He also promptly provided needed documentation as required by our insurance company.
From A (removal of the fire debris) to Z (the laying of the carpet protective tape), the project went off without a hitch. Capstones efforts were solid and we highly recommend them to anyone!

Capstone came out after a city line ruptured to address my flooding issue. They were quick to respond, professional, highly communicative and friendly. I spent several weeks working with Adam and various members of his team and cannot say enough good things. I would highly recommend Capstone!

I would HIGHLY recommend Capstone! We had a sewage backup in our basement. We contacted Capstone for an estimate to repair the damages, including several "add ons". From the moment I contacted their office, I was impressed. The office staff was responsive and returned calls exactly when they said they would. They outlined when our project would be done without sugar coating the possible wait time. We had an estimate within several days. The estimate was OUTSTANDING, thorough and complete. They even gave us two estimates, one for the damage repairs, the other for the additional work we wanted done. The crew, Marty and Karen, were amazing!! Not only was their work QUALITY, but they were consistently on time and kept us informed about daily scheduling and projects. They searched for products above and beyond what we would have asked. I haven't used the services yet. However, I called today to get something scheduled for water damage. The man I talked to was professional, friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to their assistance!

We had a dishwasher leak in our new home just built a week past our home warranty given by our builder. We had to get someone in our house fast. We called Capstone and they had Tyler here within an hour. They had dehumidifiers and fans set up that night. The next day they had drywall cut out and all of the flooring up. We waited sometime to get the repairs underway after the dry out period. In today's world we live in is understandable. Tyler, Larry and Eric did a great job on getting our new home looking great again. There is no other company I would've wanted in our home. Reliable, Trustworthy and Easy to work with! Thank you so much for getting us back home in a timely matter.We had a house fire and one of the owners of Capstone was there to help by noon. Then within a short time Gary the team supervisor met up with us and went over all the details, what was to be done . Gary’s team were professional, always on time. We were updated on progress, on a regular basis. Gary was always available for questions. Special Thanks to Zach for being the first one here, and last to leave. We had water damage from a failed toilet tank and Capstone arrived within 24 hours to do the remediation work. They did a very thorough job in cleaning up and preventing mold. While it did take awhile to have them come and do the restoration work, they did a great job. Eric went the extra mile and did the best carpet cleaning job we have ever had.

Gary's crew did an incredible job! Our skylight had leaked and they replaced it and repaired all the damage the leak had done.
They were prompt, professional and left it looking just like new.
Zach Turnstall is a definite asset to the business and I would recommend them to anyone.

Capstone saved our home, and did it professionally and with such care & attention to detail. They were so quick to jump onto our case and start work DAY OF, as well as so quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. They put our needs first and made sure they did what was best for us. We had a protein burn in our house and I couldn't work the smell out of our house. I tried everything but knew I needed professional help. After another competing company in town failed me and wouldn't respond. I called Capstone, and they were here within the hour. They began treatment day of. After a month, the hard work on their end was done and now we are living in our easy-to-breathe-in home and our basement feels like a whole new space. I could not rave enough about this company!

Adam and his crew were incredibly responsive, punctual, and respectful as they cleaned up my water/flood issues and were extremely mindful of me working from home office. Will be using them again for a basement remodel.

This company responded within hours after a malfunction of a water system pressure switch and flooded our master bathroom and garage areas. They cleaned up the damage quickly and had the correct equipment to dry out the floors, crawlspace and garage. The Idaho crew was very reassuring and professional in fixing the problem.

This company was called in after a flood. They came in and ended up doing more damage to my home then the damage that had occurred as a result of the flood. They tore out a section of the floor approximately 4’x12’ and left it open the the winter weather. They tried to brace up an exterior wall and as result caused extensive damage to the structure of my house. They damaged my personal property while moving it out of the house. The bill hadexcessive charges and they charged me for services not performed when asked to fix the damage they had done, they refused. They were blacklisted by my insurance company from contracting in the future. My adjuster cited “deceptive business practices. In my opinion this company perpetrated a fraud on me and my in company, their workmanship is less then adequate and professionalism is lacking. This company is not trustworthy and I feel that I need to warn people so that they won’t go thr what I did

We had the flooring replaced this week due to a flood. Tylers team Eric, Carson, and Kayden where amazing. They went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t be happier with the service. Very nice, very informative and great quality!

We had an outside hose bib burst and cause a lot of damage inside the basement. We had another company come do the demolition and were not happy with their work. We asked around and heard Capstone was worth giving a shot. We are extremely glad we did. Jay and his crew were always on time, incredible communication, very professional and polite, and their work is great too. They used plastic on the carpet to protect our carpet from any further damage, which is an incredibly small step to take but one that really did make a huge difference and impact on our thoughts of their work/them. You couldn't tell that they were even in the house or that we had to have work done. It was an incredible experience working with Jay and his crew, highly highly recommend them. We will be calling them in the future and recommending them to anyone who has any issues from here forward. Their rates were quite fair as well, though I may not know exactly what the going rate is, i have spoken to a couple friends in the industry and they were right where it should have been. Jay and his crew, and capstone as a whole, were great to work with and we are incredibly happy that we chose to go with them. They had to do the Drywall, make sure the electrical was still good, baseboard trim, paint, texture, mud/tape, do the ceiling, put back in our built in entertainment system, and some other small tasks. They took care of our stuff and house like it was their own.

Marty and his team were so amazing! They did such a fabulous job installing our tile and laminate. They finished up in just under a week. I couldn't be happier with Capstone!

My Gosh, what an amazing crew came to fix my roof which was wind damaged. They were ON TIME, each day, polite, respectful and did such a great job. Each one of the crew were so nice to work with - they were doing the roof on some of our hottest days. They would accept water from me because they had run out of their own, but they were up there, shucking the old shingles off, and putting the new roof on - it looks great. I've already had complements on the job they did. They were very careful, and thorough in cleaning up each day, and were respectful of my items that they had to move (AND they put them all back when they were done!) I could go on and on - and have already recommended them to my neighbors who need some work done. These guys are great - Thanks JR, Jay, Carson, and David and there was one other.... yikes I forget his name. The gals in the office have been great too! Thanks Holly & Allysia. I hired Capstone for a water intrusion . They came and did tear out and never returned. They left a lock box on the door and then advised they were too busy to finish the work. Capstone left me in the dark for nealy 2 months without even advising that won't complete the job. Deeply disappointed by this company that obviously does not care. Eric S.

I hired Capstone after three other contractors failed to deliver on their promises to fix and restore damage from a flood. I wish I had contacted Capstone from the start. Capstone has reliable workers, they are professional, show up on time and do excellent work. JR and his crew are fantastic to work with. If you need restorative, remodel or other construction services, I would highly recommend Capstone. A+++
