They turned a sad granny flat stuck in the 1970s that had been reworked by amateurs for a handicapped person, into an amazing “home” for my aging mother to live in, feel safe, comfortable, and proud to call hers.
It started as a bathroom update and ended in an amazing bathroom, bedroom, living room & kitchen better than we could have hoped for!
Michael was very quick to answer emails, texts and phone calls ranging from estimates to cabinet door pulls, nothing was overlooked and his team gave it their full attention.

After the basement flooded in my new house, I hired Scot's Pine to demo a wall, repair the framing, replace multiple electrical outlets and install missing drywall and some ceiling portions. I am so glad I did! After dealing with so many other unscrupulous contractors, it was incredibly refreshing to have had this experience! Michael provided a prompt response and estimate. He communicated plans clearly and provided options for my limited budget. After finalizing plans, it wasn't long at all before the work began! It was so nice to have him show up to the project himself and introduce the wonderful team who all did an amazing job! They were able to complete the entire project from demo to perfectly sanded drywall, ready for painting all in two days with absolutely no hand-holding. All my attention had to go towards taking care of my one year old, but this team took such great care of everything! They didn't have to have any repeated instructions or input from me and they provided the highest quality work. I'm still amazed I was able to afford this level of workmanship! Not only are they affordable, but they don't play sales games or try to push any unnecessary expenses; And they do an amazing job on the tasks for which they are hired! I've already started painting the walls and I still can't get over the quality of the work they provided! How can I say enough about a team that shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail and provides the highest quality service at an affordable rate?! My son now has his playroom back and it wouldn't have been possible without Scot's Pine. Over 30 years, I've worked with many contractors. This is the first time I've worked with a professional contractor who was invested in making my vision for my deck a reality. Friendly, on time, reliable and know their work. Michael and his crew gets a 10 from me. Michael even gave me some ideas to make the deck design even better so he's coming back to do the work. Put in a bathroom vent for me and turned out just as I wanted, had it done within a few hours and left no trace.

I was extremely happy with how everything turned out. I became discouraged along the way because of my own anxiety. When all was said and done, everything was better than I expected. I kind of did things in reverse, the first picture was after and the second picture was before. Be sure to ask him about their warranty. Although they did a great job, two of the trim pieces for my flooring came off. Although they said they were going to come back , they kept changing the day and the time but they never did show back up to make the necessary repairs 2 months later. I eventually gave up.

Addition, extension and fortification of existing 50+ year old front porch. T&G ceiling on porch and in entryway to replace old soffit. Design appropriate for rustic environment and expert craftsmanship.

Mike was great! After no luck in finding someone to help us fix a broken seal in the roof and patching up drywall, Mike came in, assessed what needed to be done and got straight to work! He is very professional and did great work! To top it off he even had someone come in to clean up the mess! We will definitely be calling him again for our future home improvement needs.

I recently used Scots Pine to fix two issues in my ceiling drywall. Michael was professional and the work was excellent. The turn around time to both request a quote and then schedule a repair were quick. Great quality and great pricing. I highly recommend.

Before meeting the Owner Michael, we had 2 other estimates., very nice people but very very expensive. Michael's price was the most reasonable , but don't think your getting nothing but quality top notch work from them. From the minute they came into the house they worked & worked. The 2 wonderful men ( Heber & Johnathan) worked consistently, but you could tell they enjoyed what they do & are fantastic at it. I had a design all ready, they followed everything I wanted done. Heber & Johnathan also love the design & made a few suggestions that made it even better. I cant Thank them enough for the wonderful work. Also I don't know what one of you would sing occasionally, but I loved it. Thank you again from the Holdens

Michael, George & crew did a fantastic job drywalling new and old construction in 4 rooms on my 2nd floor. I always knew what time they were arriving, any issues they encountered with the project and how the work was progressing. They were always courteous, polite and respectful of the property. The overall customer service was great. The manager of the job was very professional and wanted to ensure that all things were completed satisfactory. I appreciate the time taken to ensure I got a great finished product. The sturdiness of my new porch is much better than what I initially had. I am also appreciative for the additional work that was done to ensure I was satisfied. Only one thing that would be needed is a final invoice of the work completed and provided to the customer

Mike and his team were amazing. Mike offered a great price at first view of the bathroom and adhered to that price regardless of any complications the came up during the project. His team arrived exactly on time on the date we scheduled the project to begin, they kept their timeline and stayed late several days to ensure the timeline was met. They were very knowledgable and able to handle issues that were not seen on the original inspection and still kept the same price quoted. Also most importantly, I had a major clog occur in my main drain yesterday and called them, they arrived at the house within 30 minutes to access the issue and had it resolved the very next day. I highly recommend this company for any projects you might have on your table.

I would recommend Scots Pine construction to anyone in need of handyman, home repair, drywall work, furniture assembly, you name it. I've had Michael do a number of jobs in my home (mount shelves, clean and re-landscape my front and backyard, mount TVs), but most recently he and his brother George completely remodeled my bathroom. It was a big job - they had to remove and replace the old tile (including repairing the subfloor), light fixtures, vanity, sink, and toilet. They went completely above in beyond in patching drywall where needed and refreshing paint to match. Even better, they left my house cleaner than they found it and were extremely affordable, quiet, communicative, and polite. I've already hired Michael to repair the water damaged drywall in my dining room below as a follow up to this remodel. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience, and after getting multiple (insanely high) quotes and finding lackluster customer service with other companies in the area, I am so glad I found Scots Pine! I wish I could give more than five stars.

We had a wall that had water damage and was bubbling. They were able to fix the damage and give us a new accent wall that we absolutely love. They did a great job! We are happy with our experience and the final product.

Michael is a real artist with drywall. He repaired/replaced a large ceiling sheet and a smaller patch in the ceiling, both areas were damaged from an upstairs water leak. He took the time to cut away the joint between the ceiling and the wall, making the new sheet fit seamlessly. Michael put multiple coats of joint compound and paint - the finished job looks perfect. If drywall could be described as “brand new”, that is what it is. Really outstanding work!

George Evonishon and his brother Michael did a remarkable job on removing an old wooden deck and installing composite boards. They knew exactly what they were doing and I am enjoying the deck. The price was fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the men were easy to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I was looking for a company to do some drywall work on my theater room. I hire Scots Pine Construction to do the work and I was very pleased with the outcome. Michael stop by to look at what needed to be done and he gave me a quote about what will be done. I like the fact he went over some details while explaining and asking me what I want to be done.
