Kirkin Exteriors

I called Kirkin to after I was referred to them by some family and friends. The commentary was the same from both: They don't jerk you around and they will shoot straight with you. I needed some one to assess my roof and determine what was needed to reduce the likelihood of future leaks. Multiple other outfits came in with doom, gloom, and exorbitant price conditioning in an attempt to sell me a brand new roof.

Kirkin was quick to come out, honest about the maintenance needs, and straight forward in their pricing and scheduling. What some groups said required a brand new roof was able to be repaired with 5 new shingles. They stood by their work, were transparent about the process, and incredibly communicative throughout the experience.

I've since moved from the area, but I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest opinion on how much work needs to be done - not just what the salesman *wants* to be done.

5 weeks and 4 or 5 rains and the roof hasn't leaked. Which I am very happy with as Kirkin was just repairing shoddy work of another roofer. I will use Kirkin in the future if I need to and I recommend them. And the price was fair and competitive compared to other quotes.

I had new siding put on. When they took off the old siding there was massive wood rot. They sent me photos along the way and communicated what was needed. I authorized the additional work and prayed I wouldn't get hammered.

Fantastic work from the team, they worked with my insurance to maximize the payout and once all of the ducks were in a row they gave me a date two days from our conversation. That was too short notice for me so they bumped it a week for me. That worked. They were professional and fast, they got started by 8 and were done by 7 (there was a lot to do on my old roof and repairs to be made) when they left you'd never know they'd been there except I had a beautiful new roof. The even straightend a sagging gutter gratis because they just wanted to do a good job for me. Consumate professionals and very willing to work with me around my needs as a customer. 10/5 would recommend.

James Worthy was our Service Technician. Before my husband told him what our problem was, James had pointed out what needed to be done. He gave us an estimate, we agreed on the cost and the repairs needed and he got right to work. We are very satisfied with the repairs and will be calling if any other repairs are needed. We recently had our roof replaced and were very happy and satisfied with the experience working with Kirkin Exteriors. I had a siding issue that resulted in water saturating my basement wall. Due to the poor installation correcting the issue was not an easy fix. One company's solution was to remove the siding from the entire side of the house. James after extensive thought devised a very impressive solution that was efficient, cost-effective and required replacing one or two rows of siding.
Although the new siding was a very close match he even used siding from a less visible location of the house for the repair to ensure an exact match.

Everyone I worked with office and field personnel were courteous and professional. I am very happy with the job and will definitely reach out to them for future needs.

Finding ethical contractors is a gamble. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes frustration and great financial losses happen. I cannot begin to detail how IMPRESSED we were with the Kirkins business model and operation. From the very begining to the day of install and completion there was always somebody there to communicate every single move. This was the biggest investment in our home we have ever accomplished and we were understandably a little nervous and on edge. After one year of scrimping and saving we were ready. I made the call to schedule the roof install and a short time later it was time. Two (2) crews of 6, so 12 in total, showed up and began work at 7AM. Exactly 8 hours later our new roof was in place, the entire home site was clean and both crews were on the road departing. We were amazed and so were my neighbors who got to witness the efficiency and quality of craftsmanship. To include another contractor who just happen to be driving by and stopped to tell me how lucky I was to have found a roofing company that still had actuall craftsmen working for them. Our homes roof is rather large with lots of square footage, steep slopes and lot's and lot's of angles with gables etc. A new roof will never be a inexpensive endeavor, having said that DO NOT GO WITH THE LOWEST BID!!!
Go instead with reviews and do an actual meet and greet with the company. Get a feel for who you will hire and trust to complete one of the largest and most important investments you can do to your home. You will not go wrong with Kirkin. They are amazing and one of the last businesses out there with old world ethics, craftsmanship and professionalism.

Courtney measured and gave me an estimate quickly and the team led by Wes did an amazing job replacing the roof in one day between the 100 plus degree days this summer. Great work and such a relief to have the new roof.

We were introduced to Kirkin in 2017 who, without any hesitation, corrected a bad roofing job done by a scam contractor. Not only did they re-do our roof, they also appeared on our behalf at civil court to testify against that scam contractor. Fast forward to 2024; we needed a total exterior re-do. we needed to replace our roof, siding, windows, gutters, front entry door and side entry door. There was no question on who we were going to hire for this large project and thank God we did. Kirkin's attention every detail, both big and small is outstanding. Because of their professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff, what would have been an absolutely stressful, complicated and confusing project turned out to be just the opposite. We knew from the initial consultation we were putting our project in the best possible hands. Every aspect of our project from the product selections to the installation scheduling was seamless and painless. Never did we feel pressured and never did we feel any of our numerous questions or concerns were a waste their time or a bother. Their willingness to make sure every facet of our project was exactly what we envisioned spoke volumes about their dedication to putting their customers first. Kirkin's staff is second to none. Tina (and Andrew) should be nominated for sainthood for putting up with all the ups and downs our project generated. Tina kept us updated on what we needed to do, when we needed to do it and how we needed to do it. She is the most calm and patient person and proved it many times over with each and every phone call or email. We had many unanticipated bumps and potholes throughout this project and both, Tina (and Andrew) dealt with each and every one ensuring and securing positive outcomes. We also felt the install teams were outstanding. They always were on time, hard-working, respectful, polite and clean. They spent time paying attention to the little details, such as making sure my heirloom plants were not damaged while they did their jobs. Kirkin will always get a 5-star ratings from us and will always be our recommended exterior contracting company. We strongly believe, unlike other similar companies, they put their emphasis on supporting their business (and their customers) as family and less emphasis on relying on advertising/media blitzes to grow and maintain their business.

We went with Kirkin for our roof replacement after having storm damage and they were a very helpful and nice group to work with. We chose them because of their warranty and willingness to help us navigate the insurance process. They did a lot of communicating with the adjuster on our behalf and helped us get as much covered by the insurance as possible. We worked with Andrew, Melissa, Tina and West and they were all very pleasant and helpful!

I had a relatively small cedar siding repair done to my home by Kirkin, and I was absolutely thrilled with the process and results produced. I have a 200 year old home and the permitting process and attention needed one the work were both critical - something not everyone is really equipped to work with, which I learned after I had previously tried working with another large contractor in the area. However, the people I worked with at Kirkin excelled in squashing my worries in both of these areas.
James, who came out to do both the estimate and the job itself (a very good indicator for me), was an absolute class act. He was honest, friendly, patient, and really demonstrated and care and interest in providing the results I was expecting. Beyond the personality, him and his helper Juan produced excellent work and treated the area and house with care and respect.
Everyone else I worked with at the office followed a similar suit, answering my questions, providing updates to coordinate timelines with other contractors I have scheduled. Chelsea, Tina, and Melissa were a few of the names I recall, and they took were all very friendly and eager to deal with my supply of questions and concerns. I do most of the work on my home myself because of the special attention and creativity that maintaining a historic building requires, but I've now found a group of good, hardworking people to help me and it's a great feeling. They have previously worked on my Mother's home and I'll be encouraging friends and family members to look to Kirkin for future exterior work. Thank you!

I called not knowing what I would get. Service from large companies is waning! Zach P and I went back and forth. We talked in person . He gave me relevant information to make a good decision. What we both decided that insurance companies are calling many shots. USAA did the number on me, which makes it more difficult to put on a half of roof. Zach has checked in on me to see how things were progressing. This has been a couple of bad weeks for me as it comes to the cost of a new roof(half a roof) that I don't need..
If/when it is forced down my throat to get a roof, Zach is one of the first people I will call.

I had the pleasure of working with Kirkin for a roof replacement.

There was a wind storm with damage across our roof. This required an insurance claim. From the start, Dan and Andrew were there to support us by collaborating with our insurance claim adjuster. This was lengthy due to insurance attempts to cut-corners, and even suggestions to ignore code.

Kirkin brought expertise to support proper installation per code and the need to resolve the damage properly. We were fortunate to receive a full roof replacement minus the deductible.

Andrew was patient and persistent in driving the claim to completion. The Kirkin office team proided the requested support and handled the details. This was reassuring since as homeowners we are not qualified.

The roof looks amazing! The Kirkin Team was fantastic!
The roofing team was here by 7 AM daily and completed the work in @ 1 -1/2 days. Our roof is very steep.

Care and consideration was really appreciated.
Our home has significant gardens and stone-filled beds with 50 custom plants of various sizes. The plants were specially ordered and installed by a landscape designer. To avoid potential damage to the plants, 4 x 8 sheets of plywood were "tee pee" built over the plants to ensure no damage was possible. They also used very large tarps to slide the shingles away from the home.

The team was very clean making sure to magnetically collect any nails from the old roof and tidied up the yard before leaving. The dumpster was placed on the road to avoid potential damage to our new driveway. The team used wheel barrels to shuttle shingles to the dumpster. That extra effort was appreciated.

I recommend Kirkin for a quality roof at a reasonable price. Our roof now has a long-term warranty.

Kirkin Exterior replaced the roof on our home after storm damaged it. The entire experience from the estimate to the follow-up once the job was completed was very professional, great communication through the entire process. The crew showed up early, finished ahead of schedule, cleaned up all areas very thoroughly once the job was completed. I will be using them again for other home projects.

I had Kirkin come out diagnose the problem with my ten year old roof that was leaking. They did and proposed to fix it for over 3k. The first time it rained after they allegedly fixed it water came in in multiple places. Spoke with the GM Andrew Minear and he had the audacity to say they would come back out and charge me more to fix what they already charged me to fix.
I will NEVER use them again. I do not trust them to do a good job and honor their work. See BBB reviews on this company.

The only confusion is on the part of Kirkin.

The worked requested and contracted for was the exact same area that continued to leak. It speaks volumes when a business does not honor its work. It represents very low integrity and a lack of pride in the workmanship.

Of course it is convenient but not accurate to send a self interested party (its an employee)out to say what you want them to say, but the reality is the work was shoddy and did not solve the existing problem. I will never use your company again. Buyer BEWARE.

They were able to get everything done in one day! Professional and polite. They cleaned up well. Our roof looked amazing and the price was awesome! Definitely recommend.

if every company behaved like this one does, you wouldn't need to look at reviews. they did a great job on my roof and gutters. they were fast, and they did an awesome clean up. it's no fluke. the reason i called them is because they did my friend's house, sun room and garage. when i saw how that job went, i wanted the same level of service, and i got it.

Recently had a roofing repair completed. Kirkin Exteriors was efficient, courteous and very easy to deal with. Highly recommend, quality craftsmanship and professionalism from scheduling to service.

I recently had my home's siding partially fixed , and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The workmanship was subpar, with noticeable inconsistencies and I continue to have leaks from areas that were not in the initial area of the issue . The job were poorly done, and there are leaks in several places. Additionally, they’ve come twice after the initial work, after each visit, things appears to be worse then they met it. I was then told there have to be a new estimate ,which will cost me more for a job that was not done properly. Communication with the contractor was challenging, and addressing concerns proved to be an uphill battle. Overall, I cannot recommend their services based on the disappointing outcome of the siding job.

Today I met with James concerning a leak. He arrived on time and was a pleasure to deal with. He thoroughly explained what was the cause and went into detail as to what the repair would be. He is very knowledgable and was able to quickly identify the issue. Overall a very pleasant meeting.

The process for obtaining permits and loans is complete, and I couldn't have done it without the support and guidance of Dan, at Kirkin Exteriors. The integration with GAF and their electronic installers was also a smooth transition. My family is excited about the finished roof and solar shingles. Stay tuned for solar performance results.
