Called Charlie Schneider after hail damage. We also decided to get other work done. Charlie and his crew replaced my whole roof, a skylight, changed out all of my siding, upgraded the size of my gutter and downspout system. Great experience and Charlie quickly addressed any questions or concerns that I had. Big project and the house looks fresh and updated.

Great company, about 3 years ago rainy week roof started to leak, got a quote from another company in the area and they have us a quote of I believe 3500 dollars, called Schneider, Charles got on the roof and told us on a phone call what it was and asked if we wanted it repaired and 50 later it hasn't leaked since, we had are roof replaced after storm damage and they did a great job for a great price, thank you very much, we appreciate the honesty.

My neighbors gave me the referral because they loved them. And I have to say I am fan now as well. The staff in the office is amazing to work with and the communication of the process was wonderful. They showed up on time and did a great job and friendly as could be. Will use them again when needed.

No complaints. Old soffit and fascia was replaced with new and it looks good. I'll probably call them for a problem I have with loose siding.

Chris was very helpful, got me a quote for labor to reinstall some fallen facia. They show up on time to finish the job in record time.

I made an appt. 2 weeks out to review a roof over door project specifically for 330pm. The rep shows up at 3pm and talks to me over the doorbell cam. I said im en route from Alton and our appt is 330. He states " I'm here at 3, I'm going to have to reschedule because I have to get material for a job on Monday, or tell me what you want and I'll get you an estimate ". Over the cam, I tell him I need a roof over my door and it's like the neighbors next door. He walks away, I lose sight of him as he walks to look at the neighbors, I see him then get into his truck and leaves. Not a word, no measurement taken. An hour later, I get an email stating their carpenters are a year out on new projects and they cannot help me. If it's too small of a job or you're busy, don't make an appt to look at it and they knew why they were showing up. Just the smug attitude he showed, not punctual at all, rude that I wasn't here a half hour before appt time. Things happen for a reason. I'm glad they're too busy for me. Be mindful of these people. Do your due diligence.

Our work was completed on time and the owner was always quick to respond to questions and quickly finished up some small items after the roof replacement. He's the kind of person who wants to do it right and make sure the customer is happy. The staff was also friendly and helpful. He was recommended by our neighbor and I would definitely recommend too!

Our experience with Schneider Roofing was 5 star! We had a new metal roof on our garage. The installers were on time, very knowledgeable about the product, and an efficient cleanup.

I cannot recommend siding repairs based on my experience. They had poor interaction with the client and did only a fair job on the repairs.

They responded well when the bid was awarded and seemed excited to complete the job. That changed during the actual repair and made me regret my choice. I was influenced by all the positive reviews.

After using this company a number of times for roofing, gutters and siding repair since 2018, I believe them to be honest and professional. Everyone in this company I've dealt with has been excellent.

I have had not one but 2 roofs replaced by Schneider Roofing this year. The first was a somewhat complicated insurance claim on a house that was on market. The other was out of pocket on a roof with more complexity.

Schneider did exceptional work on both roofs and went above and beyond with invoicing and general paper work too. I could not recommend them enough.

Schneider Roofing diagnosed and completed a repair on my roof. The whole process was seamless and efficient with communication throughout the process via emails, calls & texts. The price was very reasonable and the workers were friendly. I would definitely hire them again for a roofing or remodeling job!!!

Quality work and decent pricing. However, was told that installation would be a one day job. Crew arrived very early before 7a.m. Crew did not speak English, so we couldn't communicate. By early afternoon, it was obvious that they would not be finished. I contacted the project manager and was repeatedly lied to about the status of the job. We had an outdoor event at our home that evening and had to figure out what to do. The crew did not finish until after 8 p.m. that night and never said a word to us that they were finished. I feel like they didn't send a large enough crew and we paid for the inconvenience and dealt with repeated inaccurate information. The crew also left a very large oil stain on our driveway.

They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after the install . They were a nice company to work with.

No reason to go anywhere else for your roofing needs. Professional, friendly, arrived on time, completed job, all at a fair price.

Suffered major hail damage to my roof, siding and gutters on 3/14/24. Contacted Schneider Roofing and Mark Johannes promptly came out to review the damage and patch the roof to stop possible leaks until the insurance adjuster could arrive. Mark was our advocate throughout the process and was very helpful dealing with a not-so cooperative insurance company. All of the workmanship and materials used were of the highest quality. I am very pleased with the job and highly recommend Schneider to anyone in need of roofing and other home repairs.

Siding was installed in 2017 and last week we lost a piece. We called and they came out quickly and found a couple of replacement and installed the following week. Did I mention they did it free, unbelievable in this day and age.

Chris did a great job fixing a gutter problem that has plagued us for years. Would highly recommend him for gutter repairs.

I contacted Schneider Roofing regarding a leak in my garage. Dave came out and inspected the roof. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me that the roof was damaged from a recent storm. He assisted me greatly in working with my home insurance. He explained to me the entire process and was incredibly helpful. The company worked with me on my schedule for the timing of the project, and when the roofers came out, they did an incredible job at putting on the new roof and making sure the area was clean when they were done. I couldn't recommend this company more and would gladly use them again.

My siding around my master bathroom window was not sealed, so water ran inside the window causing mold. The company came out diagnosed the problem, they then took a piece of my yellow wood siding sent it to Florida for an analysis to match the siding. They came back a few weeks later installed the new pieces, yes I said few pieces of siding and sealed the window and none would know the difference. I came back when they were done in amazement. See the siding is 30 years old and I can’t tell what they replaced. Yes, I saw the old pieces removed and the wrapping added before the install. I would definitely recommend this company to come fix siding that’s falling off or torn.

Exceptional work for a reasonable price. Had several roofing companies give estimates for the replacement of a gable vent and a leaky roof. The quotes ranged from 1500 to 2500 dollars. Schneider Roofing fixed both for 800 dollars. Additionally, I'd like to give praise to Dave K. who recently repaired some damaged siding even working after sunset!

A jerk squirrel chewed a hole in my siding. Had 3 companies give me quotes, schneider was the only one that didn't try to give me a huge sales pitch or sell me on way more than I needed. The whole process from quote to repair was fast and painless. Really wish more companies operated like this.

Worked with Dave on addressing gutter issues. He helped us put up new gutters and helped educate and fix a few issues he noticed while on the roof. Great team to work with. Would not hesitate to call them for the next job.

Had to replace a roof for hail damage. Called several roofers. Schneider responded promptly, clearly explained the processes, completed the work in a professional manner, and billed in line with insurance estimates. Highly recommended.

Schneider Roofing did an exellent job on our ne deck roof.
There was rain and wind the day schedualed. The ccer came out and covered the roof as well as possable, returned the next day and did a nice job, and cleadup.
GAF Master Elite is the best! Comes with a 50 year warrenty.

Very poor customer communication. It took almost 6 weeks to complete the repair after paying the full amount.

We were never asked what time was best to schedule an appointment even though we were told we would receive a call, the appointment was automatically scheduled and I only received an email confirmation. After no-showing on the first appointment they scheduled, I had to call back and ask them to schedule a new appointment. Apparently rescheduling missed appointments, that are paid in full, isn’t on their list of priorities.

Once they finally showed up to the house to perform the repair, no one was notified they were on the property (I have two dogs so this is important safety information) and the worker was blasting music outside my home office window. I had to move to a mother location to work because the worker didn’t want to use headphones or play music at an appropriate volume.

Overall, not super impressed and probably won’t be returning. The repair is completed, that’s the only positive I have.

Sorry for the long review but I have a lot to say!

My experience began with me contacting Schneider Roofing for a roof replacement due to hail damage. David Koeller arrived within a couple of days from my initial call. He is very experienced in this line of work and very kind, courteous, and professional as well. Long story short, I hired Schneider over others for 2 reasons: David being my one throat to choke throughout the process and because Proverbs 22:1 was on his truck (a good name is more desirable than great riches). I can honestly say that Schneider Roofing practices what they preach!

When the roofers showed up to do the tear-off and replacement everything went great, as good as it can for having your roof banged on all day! Unfortunately the crew did not complete the work that they tore off after the second day and had to put a tarp up over night. Naturally, that night a major storm with high winds rolled through and blew the tarp off which led to it raining in our attic…ugh! Unfortunate circumstances beyond anyone’s control…

I called David at 4:15 AM because water was coming out of our second floor ceiling, and he answered. His exact quote to me was “how we handle this will justify why you hired us to do this job for you”. How right he was…he could not make it to my house, but Charlie Schneider did. Charlie arranged for a remediation company to come and and dry out our house without any questions. He then arranged for the ceiling repairs and attic insulation repairs/replacement and painting to be made without flinching. He told me that his goal was to make me happy and restore any damaged areas to how they were before. I doubt any other company would have responded at 4:15 AM on a Saturday AM, much less have gotten the repairs in motion by 10 AM on a Saturday AM.

At the end of the day, my strong recommendation for Schneider Roofing is because in a moment of extreme adversity they stepped up to honor their word, they practiced Proverbs 22:1 to a tee. The quality of the roof and gutters is second to none as well. Almost any company can replace a roof, but Schneider Roofing is definitely in the minority for how they handled my unfortunate situation. Lots of the storm chaser roofing companies would make you sign unfavorable contracts and would be up and gone and I am sure I would have been stuck holding the bag if one of those companies had done my roof. Schneider Roofing stood behind me the whole way, through the good and the bad, over several weeks of repairs.

I am grateful that I did hire them to do our roof despite the rain damage we sustained as that could have happened with any company we hired.

Apparently suddenly out of business! Had roof repair in April 2023. They were very responsive at that time. However, in September 2023 I had needed another roof repair on the opposite side of the house. Call Schneider and made an appointment for repair. Date was scheduled and time set and I received an acknowledgment via text. Day of repair I took off work, but no one showed up nor did I receive a call to cancel the appointment. To date I have not received a call or message. I have to assume that Thye went out ok business, Unfortunately this appears to be yet another business that uses they professed faith in God to gain trust and business only to disappoint.

Mark was on time, professional and very detailed in repairing a piece of siding that had blown off our house. He did the repair at the same time of the estimate. The estimate was very reasonable.

Had Mark come out to address a roof vent leak. He did a thorough job in caulking around the vent and as a precaution around parts of the roof ridge vent. We'll continue to use Schneider roofing in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with Schneider & Remodeling company, From the initial consultation to the finished project, their team was professional, efficient, and skilled. The gutter guards they installed are top-notch, keeping my home free from debris and clogs. I highly recommend them for their exceptional service and quality workmanship.

We needed to have vent stack checked, Charlie was on time, did the inspection and found no problems. He didn’t even charge us for a service call. Will definitely use their company for any future needs

Schneider Roofing does a great job every time. We received a good amount of hail damage to our house, from a storm back in March. I went straight to Schneider, as they have taken care of us in the past. They were extremely easy to work with, they spoke with the insurance company and got everything aligned. Given the amount of damaged houses, the entire process was done very timely. We got a new roof, siding and gutters and everything turned out great.

There was even a small hiccup with the color matching of the siding, but Schneider was all over it and made it right, before there was even an issue. I can't recommend Schneider enough. I will be using them for all future house projects, as they come up. Thank you Schneider for working so hard and doing such a great job every time.

I’m a woman writing this review. After the March 12, 2024 hail storm, many siding and roofers rushed to residential buildings, receiving insurance payouts and working half-heartedly.

I waited a year to give my review because Schneider Roofing & Remodeling exceeded my expectations. I used them for a smaller project before and decided to use them again for my siding. I want to thank them for their accuracy and timely completion of the job, even in the heat of summer. I will continue to use their services for future needs.
