Hired Schantz replace all the siding on our home and we are extremely happy with the absolute beautiful end results! Liz, Brian, and Shawn were great to work with. Brian and Liz at Schantz were a pleasure to work with on out home repairs. We had two critter holes that were patched as well as some siding that was replaced. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and the crew paid attention to detail.

I love the custom door that they installed for me, and I had a gutter issue but didn't want to replace the whole thing. They sent someone out that custom build an adaption for the troubled area which fixed the problem.

I had a great experience working with Liz and Brian, and I’m thrilled to support a local vendor. I specifically searched for one when I had an issue with my chimney siding, which stemmed from a likely builder’s shortcut. I wasn’t sure of the best way to address it, so I reached out to Liz, who was very helpful. She spoke with me and quickly scheduled expert Brian to assess the situation.

When Brian arrived a couple of days later, he thoroughly explained my options and provided a clear quote. We set a date for the repairs, scheduling them a couple of weeks out on a Monday. True to their word, *they showed up on time!* A crew of four arrived and worked diligently for a full 7 hours, completing the job with high-quality workmanship.

They did inform me beforehand that there could be some additional repairs once they got on the roof. Sure enough, they found a few extra issues, but the additional costs were reasonable and well-explained.

Bottom line: I’m extremely satisfied with the work and would give them a 5-star recommendation. Well done, team!

Schantz recently installed a new roof on my home. Schantz came out when they said they would, provided me with a complete estimate, started and completed the work on time. Quality materials were used and Liz was friendly, knowledgeable about working with insurance companies and patient with me. Had rot on our chimney siding. Contacted Schantz and I was scheduled for a free quote immediately. Brian came to our home and was very courteous and professional.
We received a quote within a few days. Job was scheduled rather quickly and the work was done the same day!! Liz, the office manager, was super responsive and kind. The team that came were respectful to our property and cleaned up all debris. For future jobs, Schantz is the company we'll choose again!

Initial project (Roof Replacement) assessment was timely and provided excellent details to help drive decision to move forward with the project. Each person encountered were pleasant and to the point but provided guidance/recommendation for what they saw was needed. In terms of execution, it was swift and had an honor system for payment after work completion. Overall, my experience was above my expectations, communication was key. and the work performed was excellent. We used Shantz to patch an interior garage wall and exterior wall of new Hardi board and paint after a pipe burst. It was a relatively small project, however the entire team at Shantz treated us like we were their only client and this was a major project for their team. They did my siding and were able to make a perfect match. A tree had fallen on my house and the insurance company would only pay for the back wall. This meant that Schantz had to match the 20 year siding on the rest of the house. They found and installed a perfect match. Can't say enough about how efficient and professional they were. Our home was in need of a lot of work and Schantz definitely delivered!! They replaced our siding, windows, and gutters with leaf guards. Schantz made it a very easy process. An interesting note: when the painter began painting the house he sent Liz a picture of what he had painted and asked her if the client really wanted that color. I used Schantz to replace the windows in my kitchen. They were very helpful and easy to work with, and I’m thrilled with my new windows! I appreciated the updates I received regarding ordering, delivery and installation.

Schantz Home Improvement were great to work with. They were patient as we got our financial portion finalized and we’re quick to work once we were ready. We had new windows put in and painted the front of our home which took just one day each. We also had siding and gutters replaced and that project was completed well faster than we expected. The price was great, there was never any concern about going over the budget and the work was very well done. We will recommend to anyone and will use again when needed.

Schantz installed new gutters and gutter guards and did a slightly less than adequate job. The quality was OK but less than I expected, since I used them for other projects in the past that went smoother. Greg and his whole team were OK to work with, and average professionals. There were 2 trades involved in the overall project that Schantz coordinated but there were delays and issues with communication so that it was completed in a much longer timeframe than he initially gave to us. (Schantz) was not able to complete the project successfully without having to send his guys back out to put sealant in the gutters in some spots they missed b/c they seemed to be in a rush. They left the old gutters in my back yard for days and debris from the work all over my property, which was not acceptable and they admitted as much. Overall they were very very average on quality cost and service.

I was told in January it would be a few days not weeks, also there was about a 10 day gap in communication to even get the job scheduled. I was OK w/the gutters being stacked in the backyard contingent on the gutter install being the next day but it was not. Yes I called at 10:36am and was very angry with Greg Schantz b/c I was expecting the installers that never showed and you admitted you dropped the ball on communicating that to me at the last minute. I had to talk Greg Schantz into scheduling someone to be at my home by that afternoon, but I moved them to the side yard myself b/c I didn't have confidence Greg Schantz would make it happen. Days of debris = Mon till Thur. and much of the debris was tire shredding nails, screws and metal. Greg Schantz provided a credit of $75 to your invoice for any inconvenience the $300 was b/c I was a prior customer. I'm also very sorry that the experience was not satisfactory. The customers should always be right.

Schantz replaced our roof, soffits and fascia a few years ago and did a great job. A leak developed when an electrical company did a shoddy job when they updated our service. We were still working on scheduling the repair with Schantz when one of their team showed up and replaced the boots on the old and new electrical service. He worked in a light rain. What is really great is that they got him out there that day because the next day torrential rains hit as aftermath of the hurricane!

From the first phone call with Liz to the repair work, everything was a great experience. Will be calling them again in the future.

Schantz Home Improvement installed windows in 3/4 of our house a month ago. (20 windows, including 3 bay windows) We went from 1979 single-pane windows to shiny new 2020 double-pane beauties. Not only do they look incredible (the bay windows especially), but this morning it was 41 degrees outside and 70 degrees inside. Our heat has not come on since our windows were installed. In the past, we would have had a heat/AC cycle for weeks now, trying to keep the house comfortable. If you are waffling on getting new windows, don't delay! Greg and his staff do an amazing job with very competitive pricing. His installers were on time, got the job done faster than expected, and were as nice as can be.

Schantz made a high quality roof replacement on my insurance claim. They negotiated a great quality roof with a long term workmanship and materials warranty. It looks great and functions well so far. I really appreciate the attention to detail and quick work. They performed the full roof replacement in one day.

Schantz does good work on siding and under siding structural repair. He was very concerned that the work got done correctly, which was my goal, too. He also got it done much faster than I expected and didn’t make excuses when he found extra problems, he just faced them with a minimum of fuss for me. He communicated with me just right, too, not too little, not too much. I’ve put him on my list for other home improvements, too. I definitely recommend his crew.

Schantz Home Improvement did the siding on my home during the summer of 2018. They did an excellent job!! Greg and Liz were very professional. Greg came out to my home to give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable on the subject of home sidings. I felt very comfortable with him. He did not try oversell anything to me. He walked around my home and told me exactly what I needed for my home, which is an older home that was built in the late 80s. At first I wanted Hardie Plank on my home but after inspecting my home, Greg informed me that my home may not be best candidate for that type of siding. I really appreciated his honesty. He could have just sold me the Hardie Plank ( which is more expensive than the premium vinyl siding and made more more) but no, he was an honest man and told me exactly what my home needed. I went with the premium vinyl siding and it looks absolutely beautiful!!
Throughout the process, Liz stayed in contact with me to make sure everything was going well. Liz was very attentive to my needs and was there to answer any questions that I had. The company is very responsive!! As I stated before, the siding is beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments from my neighbors. I have actually referred Schantz Home Improvement to a few of my neighbors. The siding has been on my home for almost a year now and last month another neighbor stopped by to tell me how nice it looks and this is after a year!! I referred her to the company as well.

Although they weren’t the cheapest of the three estimates that I received (from other companies), I felt the most comfortable with Schantz Home Improvement. It was a real, hassle free, and pleasurable experience. I needed gutter guards and got a lot of conflicting information from various gutter guard installers! When I looked at reviews, I was disheartened by so many negative reviews for other installers. I called Schantz and from Liz, who took my call, to the actual installers, the service exceeded my expectations! Quality product, quality service!

They took care of replacing my gutters and it was truly a no hassle experience. They showed up when they said they would, did the job and cleaned up like they were never there. We had to make a slight adjustment but they were easy to work with and added the requested run quickly. All in all, a really good outfit to work with.

Greg Schantz did a great job repairing our roof. But, additionally, his tireless efforts were instrumental in convincing Owen Corning that their product was defective and, as a result, they provided us with the replacement ridge caps for my roof.

He was willing to pay 500 for 44 ft of gutter w 2 downspouts...rudest woman i ever encountered in 27 yrs as a contractor

We scheduled a free consultation for the replacement of a door and possible two windows for June 25th. We got a really great email about why to chose them that was very encouraging. Everything went well with the consultation - no high pressure sales stuff etc. We picked out a a new door and were excited to get the quote...but it never came. We hired someone else to do the job...

Thorough on the estimate and thorough on the work! I think it was a fare price for a great looking roof. When I drive up, I notice how good my roof looks, and I am happy. Greg was kind enough to right a wrong with my cricket structure around my chimney. I had this thing faultily repaired about three times; the last time being just a few months before Greg totally replaced the roof. Greg enlightened me about the roof products available to me and did an honest and fair job.

Schantz Home Improvement did an extensive amount of work on our home, we had the roof fully replaced, our front bay rebuilt and the house fully painted. We worked with Greg who was by far the most professional of the contractors we interviewed (there were 5) he took the time to explain things and gave a very detailed estimate presentation. He touched on several items others didn't even bother to address such as the importance of properly venting the roof, that has made an amazing difference and got rid of two inefficient roof fans saving us on electricity. HE brought in a big crew and the roof was done in a day, this is on a 3200 sq. foot home. Our front bay had extensive wood rot, it has now been fixed the way it should have been built in the first place, with non decaying materials. The paint job was great as well. The office staff was very responsive it was just a great all around experience. He wasn't the lowest price wise but very competitive and the quality was definitely worth the small difference. I'd certainly recommend giving them consideration for your next project, we are very satisfied. Follow up 2016, during an inspection by the wildlife company we use because of a prior squirrel issue it came to our attention that the metal flashing they installed on the old roof was removed. We had to pay to have it replaced. I had told Greg about not removing it when we had the new roof put on however it was not in the written agreement, my fault there. However Greg had offered to pay 250.00 towards the work as a good faith offer which I thought was great, however he never did send the check. So I adjusted my rating of 5 stars to 3 for that reason.
Follow up November 2017, we ended up having a shingle issue, since there was a warranty with the install I had Greg come out. There is a deposit required of 200.00 but if the work is covered it is all or partially refunded. In my case the service cost 50.00 which was reasonable. I checked, other roofers will come out to do a “free” inspection but any repair started at 350.00. Greg stood behind his work and I have moved my review back to 5 stars.

I asked Greg Schantz to bid on 6" gutters for my home in Ansley Park. I got the bid and was happy with their reasonable price. The installer was very nice and wow, they are fast. They had pictures from the proposal showing where they thought best for down spouts, so they are awesome to use technology to ensure the "sale" and the "delivery" of the service matches.

They took a check "in the mail" as a down payment and final payment after they job was completed. I'm a picky home owner with being in Ansley Park and I am very happy with their service and product.

I live on the west coast and rent out my home. In October, we had a sewer back up at my house. Schantz Home Improvement handled it all from dealing with my insurance company to working with my tenant to keeping my nerves calm through a stressful situation that I could not be there to handle in person. They kept me informed throughout and made great recommendations for replacement carpet and bathroom fixtures. Their sub contractors did quality work and they were able to get the work done in 3 days!
