Willie Collier came out to our place to check on the status of our roof on a house we recently purchased. He was thorough, professional and most enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing.

I hired SFR&S in May 2023 to replace my modified bitumen and pumice-sloped roof with a new TPO roof. Because of the age of my roof and the presence of pumice, they had to completely remove everything and install new high-density sloping material along with the TPO membrane. I am very happy with the results - I had a couple of small issues initially (not surprising for a new roof) and they responded immediately and cleared everything up. I am very happy with the level of quality work and the service response! Thank you SFR&S, I feel very confident in my roof and I really appreciate your work!

Very professional crews, always on time, and they did a great job. I had daily reports of progress throughout both the TPO roof and the stucco jobs. I'd highly recommend them! They really went above and beyond and it shows.

A young lady in one of your company vehicles flipped me the bird after a soft horn beep from me because she was sitting at a green light.
I believe she was on her phone and did not see the light change. as we proceeded down cerrillos rd she kept staring at me until she turned. If going to act like a child dont do it in a company vehicle and embarrass the company in the process!!

We had a very bad experience with this bait-and-switch company. In the pre-construction meeting and contract signing, when we asked what any cost overrun might be, the owner flatly said it would not be more than $2,000, and we believed him. Instead, we were hit with a $6,000 higher bill AFTER the work was done! When I was informed that extra foam would be needed, the project manager Amanda would not tell me how much more it would cost, claimed she didn't know, and that the owner Francis would let me know.
Even worse, I was not in town, so I had no idea when the project actually started or was completed. There were no daily updates during the entire roofing process, despite the company promising repeatedly that pictures of the work would be sent to me everyday. I received no pictures until two full weeks AFTER the roof was completed, despite numerous calls and texts asking for what was promised.
This company broke the law by not informing me of the price of the cost overruns before proceeding with the extra work. The only recourse is to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the State Attorney General's Office.
Avoid this company!

I have used Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing on a number of occasions for various jobs duuring my years in Santa Fe. I can think of no other company that has been so rewarding to work with. Quality work, quality personnel: you cannot ask for more.

SFS&R installed a new SPF roof in my house in Santa Fe in 2020. SFS&R was always responsive and professional. They were always quick to address my concerns. After hail damage to the roof in 2021, SFS&R worked with my insurance company to resolve the issue and did an excellent repair job. Their annual roof inspections are thorough and extremely useful.

I've had Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing do minor maintenance on my roof to fix patches and the like and they've always been very professional and done high quality work. I recommend them.

During the last torrential rain my roof developed a leak which resulted in ceiling and wall damage. SFSR came to my house the same day I called and repaired the leak. They also came later to inspect the entire roof and paint the patch. As an added bonus they helped coordinate with Froggy's Painting to repair the interior damage.

I had a roof that was redone a few years ago that developed some issues with roofing material pulling away fro the parapet. The firm was very professional and install termination bars to insure that the material could not pull away. I was very satisfied with their responsiveness and the quality of the repair.

Ethan was very courteous. I did not meet his coworker.
For clarification, a written review of work actually done and inspection of skylights, pipes, etc that did not need to be sealed would have been good to supplement the photos.
When they were finished, a knock on the door would have been appreciated.
I hope that the workers who do the reroof and stucco are very experienced.

We had a TPO roof installed (note: the glues used in the process are toxic and gas off into one's home). The crew made decisions about the roof without letting us know, which adversely impacted us. Better communication on the part of the roofers is needed.
Update...
The roofers pulled up the woodstove chimney pipes (we have two woodstoves) and did not reseat them.... leaving a 4" gap/opening. Rendering the woodstoves useless. And it's winter.
The discovery of this latest really serious problem is simply too much.

Lol, a "rock solid service guarantee"? Wish they had that when they came to my residence. After they were done w me I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement (wonder how many of these they have people sign?) and agree to never discuss details of their damage. Horrible and unprofessional. Avoid.

SFSAR did a great job! T they put a total new roof on 2 years ago and took care of this small leak quickly.

This is one of the most professional companies that I have ever dealt with. They do high quality work. They do it on time, and they do their work at a very fair price. The daily summaries on progress were very reassuring and informative. If anyone needs stucco work, I would recommend this company very highly. Great job! Great price!

I, myself, have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Company. There were problems, of course, with such a huge project, but every one of them was taken care of promptly and efficiently.
The staff, from my first meeting with the person who did the initial inspection all the way through to the person who did the final walk through, were open, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and professional.

I will add that it is an expensive project, which is known up front; and for someone like me it was a difficult experience both time wise and emotionally, but if I had to do it again, I would use Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing!

My house was in dire need of a fresh stucco job. Cracks all over the place, patches, chunks missing. SFSR came, inspected carefully, and gave me the estimate. They carefully explained what we needed to do in preparation, and they even started a few days early. Kynsie came every days and emailed me a daily progress report. She always returned calls promptly. When they finished, they cleaned up beautifully and left no mess. At the final walk through, Kynsie photographed a few spots she wanted the team to touch up. She explained the warrantee again, and told me to call if any tiny cracks appear. Great company. Would use them again absolutely.

We hired Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing in February 2021 to repair the roof of home in Eldorado. The house still had its original 1992 tar sheet and pea gravel roof, which had lately developed some small leaks and drainage issues. Caroline, their adjuster, responded quickly, came out and furnished an entirely reasonable bid, which we accepted. The project required stripping away the pea gravel, laying down new tar sheets, and installing “crickets” to redirect water flow towards the canals (downspouts). Work began promptly several weeks later (we had some snow) and took about 3 days. CJ, the Senior Project Manager consulted with us before, during and after the project, emailing us pictures of the work in progress. The work crew of five men arrived promptly each morning, worked through the day, acted with professionalism, and cleaned up after themselves. They were all, polite, respectful and diligent. They observed the required Covid-19 precautions perfectly. We are very happy with their work, and we recommend them highly.

Simply outstanding customer service from Shak and technical skill from start to finish on our studio roof replacement. No subsequent problems of any kind. Now we’re contracting them to patch the main roof and seal up the vents and skylights. Great company!!

Update: Francis promptly contacted me and visited with the Gutter Specialist, who sealed downspouts with a different material. I hope to see no more leaks in a future rainy days.. Regarding a protective/aesthetic stuccoing touch ups around canales we agreed to wait for warmer weather.
I used this company a couple years ago for roof replacement with TPO, gutters and downspouts, canales, sky tubes installation.
Re sky tubes - roof workers did not know how to install and handle sky tubes. I had to find another installer ASAP.
Re gutters and downspouts - roof workers did not waterproof them, they bent them on site, screwed to foam insulated wall without proper screws and did not tell me about it. Downspouts were shaky and leak on my existing stucco wall every rain. GJ came and siliconed around with no success. Maintenance crew came, worked all day but no results. At about the same time I installed gutters on porch from different material from local installer and I never had a single issue.
Re canales - I asked GJ about other than wood options. He declined saying that wood is friendliest to stucco wall material. Well, 50% of canales installed crooked. They have 1-1.5 inch gap around parapet and wall and caulked with roofing caulk. This makes me nervous re weather elements and leaks inside. I did not expected to get it done so ugly looking. I never saw a house like this in Santa Fe. I asked about covering this gaps with stucco and they wanted me to pay extra. To me this is a finishing job quality and securing from a potential water damage issue.
They did not ask me about color of TPO i wanted. I would choose white instead of tan they installed.
Re ciy permit - initially I was told, that permit cost is $300. Then I was told $900. The City inspector came only at last moment when the job was done. Inspector and company owner were arguing for 15 min why company did not invited inspector during roof installation. Inspector even did not walk on a roof and did not check things, just looked on a cut - how many layers of roof underneath. And this cost me $900!!

We had a roof repair done and are very happy with the repair so far.

Highly recommended. We are very pleased with the work and professionalism of Santa Fe Stucco & Roofing. They performed our roof restoration in September 2020, and they exceeded our expectations with proactive communications and followup, high quality materials and methods with no last-minute or unannounced switches, cleanliness and respect for our property. Most important, they do what they say they will do. Our only regret is not choosing them for our stucco job just prior, because working with Tesuque Stucco was unfortunately the opposite experience.

We were very pleased with the staff and repair staff from Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing - we had an urgent repair/replacement issue at a difficult time of the year and they were professional, honest, direct in all of the estimates, the pre repair meeting and post repair. Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing installed a new Gaco-flex roof over our patio and re-stuccoed our home. They were very professional throughout the process, met with us before the job started to answer questions and let us know what to expect, and provided daily status reports during the job. Their crews were clean, careful, polite and professional. Because we live in an HOA, it was necessary to match the original color of the home. Their color match is flawless. The stucco looks great - so much so that we've received compliments from our neighbors. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone considering roofing and stucco.

Beautiful and professional job repairing my old foam roof. In and out in just over one day. They left no trace of the debris from the old roof. Their estimator and project manager were great at reviewing the scope of work and presenting options. Very pleased with the company.

SFSR did a great job. Always on time, always courteous, mask-wearing, and thorough in explaining what would be done. Pre- and post-work visits. SFSR estimated 4 days to replace roof, had it completely finished in two! Roofers were efficient and professional.

I might add that I had gotten a quote from another local company that was almost twice as high as SFSR. I would strongly recommend this company.

We hired Santa Fe Stucco & Roofing to install a new roof in 2015. Since then we have some minor problem with leaks in the roof and deterioration due to weather, insects, birds and wildlife intrusion. Santa Fe Stucco & Roofing has been excellent in responding to our roofing needs. We have, on several occasions, dealt directly with the owner, Francis McPartlon on a person to person basis. From start to finish, my experience with Willie Collier (initial contact) and C.J. Macklin (project manager) was very professional! The team met with me to discuss all the details. C.J. gave me regular daily follow-up e-mails as the re-roof went on. He was always available to speak with me whenever I called and responsive to every question and request. I was especially pleased that they were able to reseal all the canales as well as apply new weatherstripping to all 5 skylights. The roofing team was always there when I was told they would be. I actually climbed up the ladder to look at the job when it was finished and I must say---the roof looks amazing!!! These guys do a terrific job and give a great warranty and great service. The modified bitumen roof (tan) that they installed will last for a long time. Plus, the warranty is transferable if I decide to sell. With winter fast approaching, I am happy that I hired Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing. You cannot hire a better company!

She impressed us with her knowledge of roofing options and her willingness to educate us about roofs in Santa Fe. Then, once we had chosen Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing for the job, CJ Macklin took over with his crew. During the week they were on the roof he sent us progress photos and updates daily. The entire job was done on time and within budget, which was expected, and he and his crew could not have been more accommodating and a pleasure to work with. My new roof which required the removal of 11 layers of roofing, weighing in at 30,000 lbs took longer than expected which was no surprise. What was a surprise was the conscientious communication with CJ who sent photos, answered all calls regardless of time, weekends...

Beyond that, Willie, in sales offered to come over and help me remove 200sq' of tarping on a 12' ceiling. He spent 2 hours climbing up and down a ladder, pulling staples, tarps... capturing roof debris and disposing of it.

Equally impressive, once we realized that we needed more hands, was the response from the roofers who'd just finished their day. I went outside and asked them if they could lend their hands. Without pause they came inside endured dirt showers and helped us with the tarp removal.

As part of restucco of my home, this company agreed to replace a skylight for no charge. Their team of two guys (didn't get their names) who did this was outstanding!  Very nice, easy to work with, dedicated, and thorough.  So far I'm very impressed.They went the extra mile doing repairs on my roof that I didn't even ask for, but that were necessary as the roofer last summer did a less than stellar job.  Give these guys a raise! This company is very professional in how they communicate and how they do the actual work. I'm delighted.

Had a roof maintenance performed on our house in Santa Fe. The team at Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing did an amazing job. Great communication and got a full report with before and after photos once the project was completed. Would absolutely recommend!

Very nicely done. It started with the inspection and estimate. They were on time and professional. Above all they were honest. Pointed out what I needed to have done and what was still good and did not need to be touched. Workmanship was great and it matched so well, if I did not know what had been done I never would be able to tell. Job site was spic and span clean and everything was well protected. Would use them over and over again.

Hired to re-stucco my home. Noticed an area of the stucco that had water damage. They came and repaired the damage but didn't attempt to fix the source of the problem which was chimney flashing that should have been repaired with the original job. Took 6 months to have anybody come back and then I was told it was my entire roof that was the problem. They did agree that the flashing should have been included in the original work but were not willing to repair the flashing now.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Professional, personable group. The estimator did not try to up-sell us to a new roof or section or roof, but instead did a comprehensive roof maintenance which should add several years to the life of the roof.

27 years in my house - tons of remodel and construction projects, I've never experienced service like this. Daily updates by email. And they finished a day early. Unbelievable.

Nice people but we were surprised when we received an estimate bill with over $600 tacked on for a permit. Before we signed we asked if there were any other fees and were told no. We only got enough money for the signed contract and this was not honored! It seems an estimate should be given before the final contract, not after. Aside from the unclear billing the work was good.

We just had our new roof completed and it is amazing. No problems with leaks anymore.. we have a flat roof that would hold the rain in puddles, but the team put in a system of peaks. No more water pooling.. Great team of caring and respectful workers.. THANK YOU SANTA FE STUCCO AND ROOFING..

These guys are legit. Living in flat roof land is difficult enough, but Santa Fe Stucco and roofing understands this. They answer their phone, they don't promise anything they can't deliver, and they dealt with my annoying insurance company like pros.

If you've never had the misfortune of having to convince your insurance company to pay a claim, you may not know how huge of a headache this can be. Not only do their roofing guys do excellent work, so do their administrative staff. They are great at communicating with insurance companies and getting the claim processed as quickly as possible.

I would absolutely recommend this company. When my house needs a new coat of stucco (which may be quite soon), I will definitely be giving them a call.
