We had a really difficult crawl space problem under our house. We had a Rat issue and horrible odors getting into our home by the heat pump ducts.
Something needed to be done. We called Safehome Resource. Tarah came out right away to give us an estimate. She crawled under our home and took pictures. Long story short - we are extremely happy with the service! We were able to open vents that have long been closed off. And we feel the house is warmer due to the new insulation installed under the floor. It took the boys a couple of days, they were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We have no problem recommending them.

I had just moved into a new home that had some less than adequate crawl space issues (flooded, insulation fallen, needing another sump pump, not properly dug trenches etc.) I'd had them give me a quote back in march of 2024 (when I originally moved in) id put off hiring them, because well first home and other things had my attention. I reached back out in November, Their quotes tend to expire like alot of businesses but they said they'd still honor it. 8 months later! I was so relieved!

They did more than what i listed above going above and beyond what was asked and for not extra cost (connected the two vent hoses in the attic that had fallen, not properly secure from previous owners contactors. Also fixed the piping going to the first sump pump so it would run more efficiently) i was extremely pleased with the work and for any future services I might need, I'll be sure reaching out to them.

Safe Home Resource is an outstanding family owned and operated business that gets the job WELL done.
We had our 1940's home attic space insulation replaced with new this past summer. The team removed old broke down insulation, sealed the entire area and replaced a vent part to standards. We can now enjoy all seasons with less energy use and costs. What a wonderful company.They insulated under my house in 2 days,and cleaned as they went.Called about a couple of outside outlets that weren't working after they left,and sent technician next day,and problem was fixed.

This group is amazing! They quoted us 2 days to clean out the old attic insulation, and then air seal all spaces needing it and then put in new insulation. It took them just over 2 days, but the were completely professional, worked very hard to keep our house/garage area clean, and even fixed items from our bathroom venting for free! Cannot recommend them enough.

We had Cory and his team come and do the spray foam insulation 3 years ago and it was money well spent. Until then we had mice issues, it's been blissfully quiet since.

Simply could not figure out why it was so damp. The SafeCrawls team were able to troubleshoot this for us, constantly staying in contact, offering several potential causes, solutions and even when we were still seeing some damp areas after initial treatment, they continued to come back until the problem was resolved, which I'm happy to say it has been resolved! Safe Homes did a great job insulating our attic. They also took care of our bathroom fan issues that was creating mold. They were here on time and put down protection for our flooring and stairs. When the job was finished they did a great job of cleaning up and answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend them.

The crew worked very hard over several days and did an A-1 job (which I inspected). Crew was on-time and professional. Had closed-cell foam installed, not inexpensive but the best choice for my location/application. An applicable PSE rebate was also completed by the company. I can recommend them without any reservation.

We are extremely pleased with the quality and thoroughness of work that was performed on our insulation in our crawlspace. Safe Home Resource was an incredible pleasure to work with. Tarah came out to do estimates to fully rehaul the crawl space and attic in our new home. They got us in almost immediately for the crawl space which was so appreciated because I would bet money was the only reason our pipes didn't freeze when we just had that weather down in the mid-teens. Tarah was understanding/flexible with scheduling around our new roof being put in and has just made the process so easy.

Attic was completely redone the last 2 days by Heather and her team. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves and just went above and beyond to take care of our space.

Safe home has incredible customer service! We are surrounded by woods and have reoccurring problems with squirrels scritching in our attic and crawl space. They destroyed the insulation in both of these areas. No company wanted to take on the critters (we tried 3).It was expensive, but Safe home fixed it all Over the past two years since then, Safe home has come out 3 times to patch up new spots of entry AT NO CHARGE!!! In a time when you can't even get a human on the phone I find this customer care exemplary and very refreshing! I highly recommend this company!

1600 sf. of crawl space was cleaned out, hauled away and R30 insulation and 6 mil plastic installed. They made sure all vents didn't have any spaces for critters.
They built 2 entry doors, framed, painted and secured.
We are so pleased with the crew that we have scheduled them to come out to renivate our attic space.

Safe Home is the only contractor I will trust to take care of my insulation needs. From Tarah coming by to look at my attic (who by the way is certainly an expert in her field) to the teams who removed and reinstalled my insulation, all was delivered in on time and at a reasonable price. I was so impressed by Safe Home, I had them come back and do the same to my crawl space. A top notch company.

MY PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
• Inspect/evaluate 1992 vintage 2-story house attic space for any deficiencies, and then
• Recommend corresponding repair, corrective, and/or improvement work together with pricing.

PROS:
• Professional, courteous, cordial staff.
• Timely arrived for inspection appointment.
• Rapid responses to post-initial inspection visit questions.

CONS: Although inspector correctly observed mold growth on some roof truss members during inspection visit (as subsequently verified by lab testing on samples that I independently arranged at my own expense), she did not at that time ever suggest that she would, nor recommend that I should, obtain lab testing of mold to determine their type(s) and their corresponding health risk(s). On the apparent presumption that ANY mold present, regardless of associated health risks, requires automatic remediation, their price quotation included total removal of all existing insulation, mold treatment/attic fogging, new loose fill fiberglass insulation installation, and new batt insulation installation around a skylight chamber. Their bid was almost 3x more than two other bids that involved additional loose fill fiberglass insulation installation on top of existing loose fill rock wool insulation, without any mold remediation work.

BOTTOM LINE: Even though I did not award the work to them, in my opinion, this company is still worthy of consideration for house insulation projects. If, however, their rep’s visual inspection concludes that mold is present (which it probably is if he/she says so), and the rep recommends, or just assumes, mold remediation actions, I would caution against categorically accepting said actions before obtaining independent lab testing on the mold type(s) that exist to determine the associated health risk(s) that they present. If the risks are not serious, IN YOUR PERSONAL JUDGMENT, then I believe that you should reject their recommended mold remediation actions, and save yourself what is probably a bunch of $$.

Clarissa the estimator, was right on time, super professional and thorough. Pricing was very competitive. Front office has also got it together.

Safe Home Resource cleaned out our old insulation, added multiple vents, sprayed for mold, sealed our attic space, installed roof jacks, and sprayed in new insulation, and brought everything up to code. Our house is warmer and safer now, and the team was absolutely the best! Professional service, friendly and very hard working team, great people, and they did the entire service without a speck of insulation in our home. They stuck to their bid, which was very reasonable, even when additional purchases were necessary to help with the ventilation. They also stuck to their 2-day schedule, even with all the additional work. These guys even painted the new vents to match the paint on our house! I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is. Don't hesitate to contact this company, you will not be disappointed.

I was absolutely blown away by the service we received. Our house was left a mess after a poor renovation leaving the entire crawl space without insulation. Safe home was extremely punctual and helpful through the whole process. They gave the quote in a timely manner and checked in without being pushy when I had forgotten about the estimation completely. They scheduled the job extremely fast and they were so responsive and kind over the phone. When it came to the actual work the guys that came were extremely professional and went above and beyond. We have 2 kids under 2 years old and at no point did we hear loud music or anything inappropriate. Both kids got naps in despite a lot of hard work being done right below them. I went under and inspected the work periodically and was really impressed at the effort in which they put in the insulation. Everything was done above and beyond my expectations. I'm not someone who hires people if possible but I am beyond thankful to have found safe home and had them to be the ones to complete this project for me.

You may never know the value of a good company or if they truly care about their customers the way they claim to, until something doesn't quite go to plan. We faced an unexpected hurdle with our project (not their fault), and they put their value of customer satisfaction and care into action and truly went above and beyond to get everything back on track. I genuinely cannot recommend Safe Home at any higher level, nor can I think of another experience I've had with a company that demonstrates the highest standard of practice when interacting with their clients. You don't need to shop around for another insulation company. This TRULY is the one you want!

I cannot recommend Kitsap County's Safe Home Resource LLC enough! We had our basement insulation replaced (it had been installed upside down previously) as well as our attic insulation which was last done in 1989 and shredded by Squirrels. All the employees, from the estimator to those who ripped out all the old insulation and to those who replaced it with new, they were professional, courteous and polite. They were respectful of our property (and cat) inside and out, and kept us informed every step of the way. They worked through sweltering heat and never complained. They were knowledgeable and went above and beyond, in my opinion, to insure everything from rodent tunnels to a leaking pipe were addressed and taken care of. If you have any insulation needs, call them, you will not be disappointed!

Very nervous about having the insulation removed from our attic, mold sprayed and new insulation sprayed in. It sounded like a messy job and caustic to our health. It turned out to be a good experience, from the estimate done by Tarah to the wonderful work done by Kent and Allen. They were very professional, explained everything, friendly and left all clean. Ours was not an easy job. The guys put in two long days but continued to pay attention to detail. Thanks to all!

Safe Home Resource (out of Belfair) just completed a full replacement of our under belly insulation which included removal of the old insulation, replaced by new, R-30 thermal insulation, rewrapping of heating duck work and air seal of same and fog disinfecting. The job was thorough, professional and those involved in the install were a no-nonsense, hard-working team. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

All of these men and women who work here are amazing. Great team and glad to have been a part of what they do in a day! Tough work and not what many people would want to do themselves. Cheers to you all!!

The workers did an excellent job repairing my damaged ceiling insulation. They were polite and professional and didn't leave a mess. Their estimator was polite and courteous also. I would use them again as needed.

SHR did a thorough job (at a very reasonable price) vacuuming rodent debris out of cramped attic areas, including removing fouled insulation. Workers were fastidious in keeping walkway through house protected during work. Tara and the crew were very easy to work with.

I contacted Safe Crawls for an attic and crawl space insulation project. I was able to get a convenient appointment with their estimator, who explained what my house needed. The company was able to book me an appointment for the following week, with the crew completing the job in two days. Everyone involved in the project was prompt, courteous, and professional. Job well done.

Safe Home came so highly recommended that we didn't even bother getting other estimates. They lived up to the reputation, and then some. Had an insulation upgrade done and repairs made. The crew was pleasant, intelligent, hard-working, and helpful, even making other repairs that weren't included in the bid. Highly responsive to all our needs, and truly went the extra mile for us.

What a fabulous job Safe Home Resource's team did on our home. We were so impressed with Tarah when we met to inspect our attic and crawl spaces, but that doesn’t always translate to the people that come out to do the work. Tarah gave an honest assessment that our crawl spaces were fine, but they could definitely help on the attic. I am happy to say that we were thrilled with the results. I want to thank Tara Church for coming to our home, inspecting and writing an estimate prior to leaving our property. The work was scheduled, the installer arrived about 15 minutes prior to start time. Shane was very knowledgeable, sharing needed information with us. He removed all the old insulation, cleaned and disinfected the area and installed all new insulation. We had rodent problems, he found the point of entry and closed that off. I would highly recommend Safe Home Resource. When we are ready to replace the insulation in our attic we will use Safe Home.

When my wife and I purchased our first new home we had no idea what poor condition crawlspace CS was in. It smelled with a horrible odor. Tarah from Safe Home Resources (SHR) came in and quoted us a great price and set us up with a 'same as cash' financing plan so we didn't have to pay a lot of upfront cost. That was a BIG RELIEF, the other companies had NO financing options available it was very important that we had that option available so we could break the payments up. When the SHR team got to our home they finished the entire job in 2 days. They got rid of the awful odor coming from the CS and was available by phone to answer any of my our questions. The company and crew were very friendly. They cleand up after themselves at the end of each work day. They were very thorough and did an excellent job. The day after the work was completed, I was still feeling cold air coming through 1 heater vent in the livingroom. I let them know about it and they sent someone out to fix that problem within a few hours. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing insulation installed in their home.

Safe homes shares a parking lot with a mini mart which is a popular spot for semis to stop for a quick bite to eat. They regularly park their company pickup in the only available semi parking, even when there are available parking spaces. It doesn't get much more inconsiderate than that.

I can’t say enough positive things about this company. They were great to work with and did an exceptional job for us in our attic and crawl space. They are all hard workers and the quality of their work is outstanding. They cleaned up and redid things other contractors had left undone. Our furnace-heat pump system is running efficiently thanks to them. They reconnected ductwork, sealed and reinsulated all our heating ducts because they had come apart. These are things you don’t see for yourself. You need a professional to inspect these areas. This company can do that for you.
