There are not enough amazing words that I can say about Brian and the entire crew at S&S. They came to our Non-Profit's rescue, with a fair bid, outstanding work, upfront conversation, real solutions, and all around above my expectations work ethic.
We had a previous company completely fail on the remodel of our building, and Brian and his team came in and removed the disaster the previous contractor created, and built the most amazing kennel building you could imagine. They also installed all of our kennels on completion.
Their job was not an easy one after the mess that was left. I cannot express how much we appreciate this company, and the stellar work/results.
We would give them 10 stars and will use them again for our home projects. Thank you Brian and Team at S&S for restoring my faith in contractors in this town!

Having flipped about 10 homes in my short career of Fix & Flipped, I value the integrity Beth and her team brings to the table. The fact I feel comfortable about how they manage the process allows me to know they will hit their targets and budgets as long as there are no unknowns that pop up in the process. Call Beth, you will be happy you did.

We have contracted SS twice now, both substantial remodels. The crews are on time, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, extremely organized, and friendly. I feel Brian’s quotes are very fair and they use high quality materials, no corner cutting whatsoever. The quoted start time was met to the second, and the quoted finish time was as accurate as they can be. The quoted price, for our projects, was the exact finish and final price, no extras. I understand this can be hard sometimes as problems arise during major remodels. Not in our case however. I would highly Recommend SS, best I have ever dealt with by far.

I'm a Commercial Real Estate General Contractor. I hired S&S Construction to handle all the interior steel framing, interior doors and counter tops for a hair salon. They were professional, prompt and the work was done perfectly. I couldn't be happier with how this company is run and the work they do. Thank you, Brian and Beth.

Brian and his crew performed a number of projects for my wife and I: 1) demolishing/reconstructing a very tall chimney chase which had rotted out due to neglect, 2) hardwood flooring for our living room and 3) removing leaky slate tile from a large outdoor entryway and replacing with frost-proof porcelain tile.
Every one of these projects was on-budget, on-time and with excellent craftsmanship. As importantly, Brian and every member of his crew were friendly, patient and professional while maintaining a sense of humor. We cannot overemphasize how good these guys are!

This review is from a friend that prefers to stay off line.

Hi, Melissa.

Thank you ever so much for recommending Brian as the contractor to put my bathroom back together! He and his crew did a very nice job and I absolutely love the Congoleum flooring I picked (Colonial Plank in Dark Khaki). One friend described it as, "Looks like barnwood but without all the splinters". It carries an amazing 50 year warranty. If I didn't already have hardwood in the rest of the house I wouldn't mind this stuff at all. Thank you Brian, Keven, Keith and Tony for your amazing job and customer service.

These guys are great. They've done everything from exterior repairs and completely re did three rooms for us which included a kitchen and bathroom. Smart on the job, trustworthy, and nice clean work. Not the least expensive, but very reasonable and will do the job right. By the end, we were all friends as well. Yes I would recommend them.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
