Mga kabayan wag kayoing magpapapalit ng roof sa company nato na balasubas. Very unreliable company, they don’t fix the issue even the work is still under warranty. I complained on Dec. 4, 2024 about the issue on my new roof, which they installed, but they just kept promising and gave excuses.

I highly recommend RR Roofer Rider. I received four different quotes for replacing a 35 year old roof and decided to go with them after Vincent (the owner) came by personally, to give me a quote. He went onto the roof to inspect it and came inside the house to view the attic and answer all my questions. I found Vincent very personable, knowledgeable and honest, he put me at ease right away. I received the quote the same day. I was very pleased that his crew were able to start the new roof in the cold month of January and complete it in a reasonable amount of time which was a lot of work since the old metal roof had been placed on top of the much older asphalt roof. The foreman suggested installing a skylight for the bathroom to bring in more light and make use of a large ceiling opening that had housed old lighting. While they were replacing the roof was the perfect time to install the skylight. The crew were friendly and polite whenever I spoke to them and did a great cleanup job when the work was complete. They also took photos of the new roof for me which I appreciated. Vincent also came by after completion to inspect the work that was done. Deciding to spend money on a new roof isn't easy but I really felt comfortable in my decision to go with RR Roof Rider.

Roof Rider went above and beyond. Our home lost its entire roof during a recent wind event. With torrents of rain entering the compromised structure, Roof Rider sent a crew to patch us up while awaiting the months long insurance wait for actual replacement. Crews were professional and had great customer service from front office staff as well.

The wind storm brought a strip down off of our roof that we could not identify so we called roof rider as they are Sooke local. Our visit was delayed as the truck was held hostage by mechanics but Vincent climbed up on our roof and removed a strip of galvanized metal. Why it was there is a mystery but he checked our roof and attic, unneeded strip was the only victim. The service was great, advice given helped and our whole experience with this company was fantastic. Keep this one in business!

Vincent came to Duncan in 2021 to inspect our Strata roof as it was 27 years old. I was impressed with his inspection, went on the roof and then in the attic area. Told me we had 3-5 years left on the roof. We had him back after 2 years and he said maybe 2-4 years. Strata decided to get estimates and decides Roof Rider was the company we wanted because of Vincent. His crew was excellent had the roof was done in 8 Days. We even had a roof access hatch put in by Ken. They cleaned everything up after the job was done. What I liked was Ken came after the crew was finished and spent 2 hours on the roof marked little spots that needed attention. The crew came back the next day and addressed everything that was marked. One employee Alvin went he the attic and reattached all the units vent hoses for the dryer and bathroom. I say a job well done at a good price.

Vincent provided a comprehensive inspection of our commercial roof for insurance papers. The report took some time to complete (as many good companies do), the advised repairs to be done were honestly assessed. The work has not yet been completed, but so far I appreciate working with Vincent and RR Roof Rider.

Update: work has been completed April 2024 as described in our assessment and photos of the completed work was taken to our satisfaction. RR Roof Rider is easy to work with and will be the first phone call I’ll make next time we need an assessment or repair. Thank-you Vincent!

Did a great job on our roof the whole way from quotes to dealing with surprises which are bound to happen with any job. Very glad we picked them and would certainly recommend others do too.

Right from the start Vincent and his Roof Rider team surpassed my expectations. First off, the communication was excellent. The foreman, Kevin kept me informed when they would arrive and start working and also let me know during the day when they would leave each day. They kept my driveway tidy and clean as there was a lot of equipment, supplies to be used. When they were finished, they took me on a walk around to ensure I was satisfied with their work and the cleanup. I really appreciated Vincent’s visit to ensure I was happy with the work and if I had any questions or comments. Really amazing Customer Service!! Great job, professional and fast. The crew was dedicated to ensuring the roof was completed before the next rain fall. Also, very trustworthy as we were not home during the job. I gave them access to my garage to power up the compressor (blew a breaker because of the hot tub lol) and they treated my home as their own. After the job, the cleanup was thorough. Yes, I recommend Roof Rider for any roof job.

We chose Roof Rider because they were more thorough than other companies we had give us quotes for reshingling our house and shed. They not only looked at our current roof but also gave us notes and photos of our chimneys and attic. The shingle guarantee was also for a longer period of time. We were pleased with their work as well as that of others they recommended for work on our chimneys.

I highly recommend Roof Rider. The owner, Vincent, is very knowledgeable on roofing issues. Of all of the people that gave me quotes, he was the only one that inspected my attic first. He uses high quality, warranted materials. The work crews worked very hard and for long shifts. Some crews worked from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. They were also friendly and accommodating. Cleanup was satisfactorily completed upon completion of the work.

Roof Rider has been the most responsive roofing contractor of the 6 that I contacted for a roof inspection and quote. Vincent is professional, honest, and easy to work with. He completed an inspection for insurance purposes (life expectancy of roof) and we plan to use Roof Rider in a couple years to replace our roof.

I found them very thorough both with their estimate for different kinds of roofing, their recommendation on colours to allow for greater longevity of ashphalt shingles, and they were equally thorough, approachable, and friendly on the site! Antirely enjoyable experience: I would recommend them to friends and family in a moment!

Last year, I faced a roof leak, and RoofRiders placed a tarp, effectively preventing any issues throughout the winter. However, upon their permanent fix, the same leak resurfaced after the first rain. Despite reaching out, their response was delayed, and they conveyed a lack of guarantee on their work. They now propose a second payment for a complete roof replacement. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend RoofRiders for roof repairs, given the issues and the unsatisfactory customer service.

Vincent and team went and continue to go above and beyond on our project even with the busy timelines Roof Rider faces. The quality of work is exceptional and so is the team's customer service and flexibility.

Had the opportunity recently to work with Vincent and the Roof Rider team. I was impressed with Vincent from the first day when he came by our house to provide a quote. I appreciated the time he took to thoroughly evaluate our roof both from outside and inside via the attics. I received multiple roof replacement quotes, and he was the only person who wanted to assess the roof as well from the attic, bringing me up to actually show me what he was observing. I appreciated his explanation of the roofing and shingle guarantee providing his customers with the appropriate coverage if required directly through the manufacturer. The other key aspect of our decision to go with Vincent and Roof Rider, was their ability to replace our roof within two months whereas the other companies were booking out 6 and 10-12 months, which isn’t great when you have a leaking roof! Finally, I want to commend RR for the excellent service I received via their office team, suppliers and roofers, all were great to deal with throughout the project. I would recommend RR for your next roof replacement.

Roof Rider replaced an old torch-on roof with a TPO roof on our home. Their hard working crew did a thorough job and the overall experience was great. We would definitely hire them again for any future roofing work.

I was very happy with Roof Riders services for both the roof and gutters on our house. The quote was very clear and timely and they did the job within the time frame estimate . They were very conscientious and cleaned everything at the end of each day and were here for the duration of the job with no interruptions. Our property posed some challenges which they worked around very well and came up with great solutions. I highly recommend their services!

This winter during the epic rains we found a leak in our roof, well more than one actually. Roof Rider responded the next day when I made the call and had a tarp up over the leaking area to get us through within hours. The quote was detailed a came quickly, once we were agreed on the price they got there as soon as was practical, and got the whole roof done in January between the rains! The crew who did the work were... well, I could not say enough good things about them! They were courteous, well mannered, no loud music, no swearing, got the job done quickly, and they did a quick clean up at the end of each day. The final clean up was very thorough and we have not found any nails since the job was completed. The owner came by and did an inspection of the site and adjusted a couple gutters that were incorrectly installed years ago. If anyone I know is in need of a roofer I will not hesitate to tell them to seriously consider Roof Rider for the job. They truly were top notch and we were not disappointed in any way! I have no hesitation in recommending Roof Rider. After one of our skylights failed and flooded a portion of our home during the November 2021 deluge, our restoration company sent Vincent Cummings (owner/operator of Roof Rider) to assess the situation and make emergency repairs. Despite being crazy busy that day, Vincent not only inspected the roof, all our skylights and our attic, but also returned late that afternoon to build a frame and securely tarp the troublesome skylight before heading home for the night. It was long dark by the time he left.

Vincent replaced two of our skylight lenses that year and another two this year. He does meticulous work. For customer service, professionalism, response time, knowledge and ease/clarity of communications, I’d give this hardworking, local company 100%. Every question was answered. Every detail considered. Very impressive.

I highly recommend Roof Rider. Vincent (the owner) will give you a quote that uses only high quality materials and makes sure all aspects meet or are beyond industry standards. The new vents and new flashings look much better than the previous generation that was on there before. In fact, the new roof looks so much better than what it replaced. We had two new 4’x4’ skylights installed at the same time and Roof Rider gave me quotes for them that were very competitive. I thought they were a great deal! Now the house looks very much brighter with natural light coming into the house as never before. Once the team arrives at your home, they work fast and typically can finish off your roof in a few days. Staff at Roof Rider are always courteous and efficient. We have had three different steel roofs put on a Ramada and two sheds and all are beautiful. Vincent is thorough and objective in telling us how a project will go and we will be using their company yet again to tend to replacing our house roof.

Highly recommend Roof Rider to everyone who needs roof related work. Roof Rider helped us replace the new roof on our house in August. As we just had a one month old newborn at home, the team was very considerate and tried their best to accommodate our needs. Under Vincent's leadership, the whole team was quite efficient with quality finish. Great help from beginning to end including a fair thorough quote, fast efficient service, and a great new roof that was badly needed. The job was completed quickly and the site was clean when they were finished.

Ken and I asked Vincent for a quote in mid-June. His examination of the roof was very thorough and he discussed various points with us openly and clearly as we went along, letting us know that he would be able to commence work in mid-July. Within a couple of days we had a detailed and very fair quote in our hands. Right on schedule work began in mid-July with two very polite and cheerful workers going at is steadily for several days. Vince himself was there much of the time as he was also busy supervising and obtaining extra material as unexpected flaws in the original roof design became evident. He never complained about any of the problems our roof presented he just took it all in stride, improved on the original and came up with whatever was needed to get the job done. We literally could not be happier with the workmanship and the three men who did it. Thanks Vincent and team for a job well done.
