Im very satisfied on what they did to my roof my gutters. My gutters were a mess (it was embarrassing) and my roof needed attention. These guys did a great job to take care of that matter. I would highly recommend them.
I requested and received a quote from Royal Roofing for cleaning, de-mossing and treating our roof. I had questions about the product they used for treating any moss that was not readily removed with soft bristle brushing (which is what they did first). Yuriy promptly called me back informing me that they employ sodium percarbonate (known by some as oxygen bleach) it is safer and more environmentally friendly than chlorine bleach. This was preferable to us because of the plethora of plants that surround our house. We scheduled for them to come out and anticipated the job might take about three hours. Serge and Yuriy (not the same as above) arrived on time, in fact a few minutes before their 8am estimated arrival time. They promptly got to work. Our roof had not been thoroughly cleaned for a few years, so there was ample amounts of debris and moss to be dealt with. Our roof did not have roof anchors so Serge and Yuriy installed some (Note: we were not charged for this service). Once set up they commenced diligently and systematically attacking the cleanup of our roof. Huge amounts of debris was cleaned off. This resulted in loads of needles, twigs, leaves, etc. being knocked down onto our deck and surrounding the house. They carefully and diligently collected up all of this roof debris. Then commenced treating the roof with the sodium percarbonate. It was carefully applied by Serge, while Yuriy was on the ground gently hosing down any plants that might have gotten debris or a little splattered sodium percarbonate on them. In the end our roof looked fantastic and the lads had worked steadily for about five hours to make sure and do the job right. As such it is easy to give Royal Roofing a five-star rating. I should also note that neither Serge, nor Yuriy spoke much English, however they were quick to employ a translation app to make sure communication was feasible. Not much communication was necessary since they knew the task at hand and got on with doing it and did a great job.
Very pleased with the project Royal Roofing did for me. I first contacted them to replace some rotting fascia boards. They were very responsive and provided a detailed quote following a careful inspection. They were very accommodating to allow me to prime and paint the new boards before they were installed. During the installation, they observed that the roof ridge vent that had been installed relatively recently by another roofer (by a company I was unhappy with) was not appropriate. The detail is not important, but they explained the reason and it totally made sense. My experience during the fascia board installation convinced me of their expertise. They came up with a good solution for the vent replacement. Once again, they did that work quickly and well. There was one small issue about the color of the ridge flashing that was very different from the roof color. This was due to a miscommunication. They then took some time to investigate options to correct that - and I was impressed with the quite clever solution that they then completed at no added cost. I would definitely recommend Royal Roofing to anyone for any work related to roofing - they are experts and great to work with.
