John and crew did an outstanding job on my shop. Great communication and always courteous and clear with any of my questions. The crew was on time and installed a professional product with zero cleanup from me. Proud to use a veteran owned and operated business as well! Before and after pictures included.

Had them spray foam a small wood shop for me, kept in constant contact and kept me informed when they would come out, guess what they showed when they said, and did a great job. Absolutely no issues.

I'm looking for contractors to do spray foam in my remodel. I found this on Google. I called but they're out of my service range. However, John spent over 30 min educating me on what to expect price wise on a contractor and what things to ask in selecting a reputable contractor. He also explained the code required for my job.. If you're in the Seattle area or as far east as Ellinsburg this is your Best Bet!!!

AT-Foam provided spray insulation for me in a vaulted ceiling, and I recommend their work without reservation. They performed high quality work at a fair price. They were punctual and efficient, and they left my home cleaner than it was when they arrived. The owner, John, seems like a person of integrity who really cares about his clients and employees.

John and his team were fantastic to work with and flexible as we dealt with inspections and product shortages. We were remodeling an early 1900s Craftsman style home so no insulation was present originally. Since it was 2x4 framing I wanted to get as much insulation in the walls as possible. I knew spray foam was excellent but now during the nicer days the temperature difference is only a degree or two different between floors. Not only that, but John used his knowledge of the building code to know how much insulation was required to maximize the insulation present but also to minimize the product used (while maximizing the benefit) to save us money. Should we need to remodel in the future I'll definitely give John at AT Foam a call.

As a retired contractor of 40 years experience, now building my retirement home, I really valued the prompt communications and responsiveness to all my questions of AT Foam. Good communication with sub-contractors is essential in the process building a home. Besides excellent communication, AT Foam’s pricing was very competitive. Those two factors were behind my decision to choose them. The installation crew arrived precisely when I was told they would. They were friendly, installed protective plastic sheeting where necessary, did a great job applying the insulation in very awkwardly shaped rafter bays, and were very conscientious in the clean up process. Nothing but good things to say about AT Foam.

I cannot speak more highly of AT FOAM, and I recommend them without hesitation. From the outset, they were professional and knowledgeable. They gave us information without pressure so that we could decide what was best for our home. We went for it, and are glad we did. We’ve seen a reduction in sound in our home, better temperature retention, and a reduced bill with PSE.

Amazing team to work with from start to end! They gave us options that fit both our needs & budget. My master bathroom doesn't need a space heater anymore to keep warm in the winters thanks to AtFoam! Plus our energy bill has gone down significantly; this is a huge bonus since we have AC & summers are getting warmer each year.

John was great to work with. He took the time to talk to me about some unique concerns I had with my installation. I had a small job to insulate under my overhangs, only about 3 hours worth of work. His installers showed up promptly, protected everything well so there was no overspray, and left a very clean job when they were through. One of the best subcontractors I have worked with.

These guys were great to work with! They have to flex in just after framing inspection, and are well versed with all of that. They showed up quickly to give us a very competitive price. The guys showed up on time and did a great job. They shaved down any over spray and the drywall went on without a hitch. We will be calling these guys again on the next spray foam project!! Highly recommend!!

For anyone needing closed cell spray foam for their home or commercial building I can highly recommend AT-Foam. John and his team have insulated several projects for me over the last two years; a ceiling in a house in Alki, a crawlspace in Bothel and the ceiling, walls and crawlspace this last July in a house for me in Maple Valley, WA.

I've found their services to be fairly priced and will continue to call on John at At-Foam again and again because of their quality of service and attention to detail.

While speaking with the company about work that they did in our crawl, specifically a duct that had not been attached thus letting out our heat into the crawl, an old duct that was left hanging resulting in a rat entering into our crawl and inconsistent insulation work on our copper pipes (numerous 2"- 8" sections of pipes were not covered with pipe insulation), the company rep.over a 20 minute phone call responded with an progressively aggressive "not our fault" response. In addition when asked about the inconsistent insulation work on the copper pipes the company rep noted that putting insulation around and near the pipe joints was hard work to do, suggesting that's why it was not done nor why we should have expected it to be done (BTW I completed the un-finished pipe insulation work myself with materials that the company workers had left behind strewn about in my crawlspace). Inspite of my call with the company rep. escalating to the point of near shouting overall I found the work done by this company to be consistent with what one would expect from the low bidding company on a project, doing only the minimum per the statement of work, getting in and out as quick as posssible, not leaving the worksite clean as could be, leaving behind materials, generally not gong the extra mile to satify the customer and providing inconsistent work at best. For certain I found their approach to customer call handling to be wholly unprofessional and unsatisfying.

Smooth operators. Almost went with another service but their quote buy sold me on spending extra on spray foam. Glad we did. Happy with the results.

They basically stopped communicating with me. I called for a quote, the woman on the line didn't even know what Icynene was. She gave me a man's number to call, so I did. Left a message. Got a call back while I was working. I subsequently returned the call and even gave my address, saying I had a build going and needed a quote on insulation. Nothing. Won't call again.

These guys were amazing! They came in with a LOT more information, and because of this significantly lower bid. They did a great job. My job also had a re-roof that needed to be done and they worked exceptionally with the roofing contractor and crew to get the work done. Can't say enough good things about John and Jake (the owners).

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
