After securing and reviewing multiple bids for my reroofing needs, it became apparent very quickly that Royal Roofing stood out from the rest. Their quote was clear, fair, detailed, and informative. The roofing crew, lead by Guillermo and Nicholas were true professionals and very pleasant to work with. Not to mention, they completed the job 6 days ahead of schedule! They pride themselves on SPEED, QUALITY, EFFICIENCY, and CUSTOMER SERVICE…..and it’s very apparent! Steve, the President, was professional, charismatic, informative and ALWAYS answered my calls and questions with excitement and great detail. Everyone at Royal Roofing was very easy and pleasant to work with. On the day of our quote, Steve the Owner came out and he handed us a portfolio, which included their insurance info, licenses number, what services they do etc...I didn't have to chase them down for any of this info he came prepared, and we hired them to replace one roof and patch another one. Royal Roofing has been servicing our San Pedro area Commercial and Apartment properties for 3+ decades without fail and even re-roofed our RPV home 20 years ago.
This year Royal Roofing replaced a jumbo skylight at our home as well as a roof maintenance Tune Up as owner Steve calls it.

Owner, Steve is the consummate leader who still wants to make the customer happy, albeit Royal Roofing is not inexpensive, the quality of the people, the workmanship, the supplies, and the timeliness of the work is A1/spot on and worth every penny for peace of mind. Steve is very easy to talk to and work with. Everything that he promised came to fruition to ensure that my wife and were happy and satisfied. It was a great experience!

The staff, led by Guillermo, were on time, kind, clean and respectful. Guillermo visited the site, looked at my existing roof, took photographs and samples (to ensure an exact roof color match), whilst making reasonable recommendations. He was honest and supported each concern with photographic evidence. Within a few days, I received an electronic quote for the work to be performed. The job was completed in one day. Other than scheduled breaks, the roofing team was always working. Great job!

We've been a Royal Roofing customer for over three decades. My only regret is the one time that I didn't use them!

Royal Roofing did an outstanding job of tear-off and a completely new torch down on a 42 unit mixed use building in L.A. Prior to hiring Royal Roofing I conducted extensive research on 7 or 8 local roofing companies. I was very impressed with the owner, Steve’s manner in which he provided me with a detailed outline for their bid showing the scope of the project including materials for each step along the way.
He also sent me all of the certification I needed such as their insurance, materials specs, lien releases, and inspection sign offs timely.

Workers were helpful, respectful of residents, and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were enthusiastic, on time, and worked on Saturdays in order to shorten the total time from start to finish. Although I visited the job site on a regular basis, they sent me progress reports and photos every few days.

It is obvious they showed attention to quality and detail and this assured me that I would not have to call them back over the extended warrantee time period.

I am very pleased with the final results and highly recommend Royal Roofing for your roofing needs.

I own an apartment building with a flat roof that was old and needed replacement. Royal Roofing gave me a competitive bid and met all my insurance requirements. Although Royal uses the hot mop process, the job was done with minimal disruption to our tenants, and the workplace was kept clean. They use quality materials and adhere to the Title 24 cool roof specs. Everyone involved was pleasant to work with, from Steve the owner, Johnny the supervisor, and Jose the foreman. Laura in the office handled the building permit process with the city. Excellent work! I would highly recommend them.

Royal did a patch job for me two years ago for my flat roof. It was pricey - quality work isn’t cheap. They also added clay tiles to my back porch.

The team was professional and respectful. 18 months later I had a leak where they added the clay tiles. It took a little work, once they came out though the technician found and repaired the problem in 5 min.

Since this work I’ve gotten two quotes for additional work. They are very transparent and I trust them impeccably.

Steve and his crew are always professional, they show up on time and work very clean and safe. If I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars I would. I have used them on our properties for over 7 years and I have always been very pleased with their work

Royal Roofing and Steve have been awesome on all the service calls we have had them out on. We did not purchase our roof through them, as we bought the house with the roof installed. Even before we transferred the warranty they had come out and fixed some minor issues for us at no cost. Recently we had service for a leak that ended up being the chimney brick and not the roof. Yet the service guy filled it for us to stop the leak until I could get someone out to fix it. He helped us even though it wasn’t the roof leaking but the bricks. I must say there response time is great and they have all been very helpful.

Project involved removal of old roof and install of new asphalt shingle roof. Steve was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, offered suggestions, experienced and provided a detailed description of how the project would proceed.
Raul and the crew arrived early every day and worked very well together … efficient, attentive to detail and professional. At the end of the day, property was clean and protected from potential unexpected weather.

We recently used Royal Roofing Company to replace a 37 year old shingle roof in our two story house in Monterey Park and had a great experience. Good value, great workmanship and a very professional team that delivers on time.
We called their office and Stephanie sent their project supervisor Alex quickly to give us a proposal, their price is mid range (compared to 4 other proposals) and timing is good. Alex addressed our concerns and gave us straight forward answers.
Since Royal Roofing is a big company, they were able to fit our project between big projects and send a 9-person crew to complete the project quickly.
Guillermo the crew foreman showed up everyday and communicated with us on the daily progress, and addressed any issues we had. Since we have stamped concrete in the driveway, they put plastic sheets and plywood on top for their truck to load and unload. At the end of each day, the crew did a wonderful job cleaning up around the house and pick up nails. A few of the crew have 20+ year experience and they are highly skilled workers. Everyone works hard especially Nicholas the truck driver. Their teamwork is awesome.
Additional wood replacement work around the chimney and elsewhere were done carefully and they did not take short cuts. We also added seven low profile O'Hagin vents which looked very sleek.
Their office handles the paperwork (proposal, permit, invoices) very efficiently through email.
I definitely recommend this company for any future roofing needs.

Talked to the owner, Steve. He went out of his way to give me advice on my project. It’s hard to come by great customer service like this. He didn’t end up doing the work but treated me as if he did.

Home and garage were re-roofed in 4 days, really happy with the speed and quality offered. I was able to call/text the project manager directly to coordinate and the crew cleaned the property well on the last day (also paint matched all repairs). Very professional, would recommend.

After waiting for them for 2 plus weeks , They finally came in Saturday morning .
After my husband respectfully gave them access to the property, parking, codes for the door and provided access to garage and the apartment , they called us on Sunday to say that if we don’t cover the mattress that was in the neighbors balcony they will stop with installation and leave immediately.
They stopped everything and left with no explanation.

I own a Triplex and regrettably hired Royal Roofing Company in 2019. Two of the three roofs leaked after only 3 years. Installed May 2019, first leak was Jan 2022, second leak Nov 2022. The first leak cost me $3500 in water damage. The contractor FORGOT TO SEAL THE ROOF. They begrudgingly 'fixed' the roof by doing an incredibly sloppy tar job. The second leak Cost about 2200 in damage, the contractor showed me a picture of my roof and said, 'You had work done since we installed the roof, you can see here in this picture we don't do pipes like this.' This wasn't backed up by any hard evidence. He kindly said it would cost $4,000 to fix. Kindly, as in my 20 year warranty isn't worth a dime and he knew I couldn't prove him wrong. After all, how do you disprove an outlandish claim of 'we don't work like this,' without any proof. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They do not do good work nor honor their warranties. There are better companies out there.

I would recommend Royal roofing company if you need a new roof they're very honest trustworthy and they do great work I had them put a whole new roof on in 2009 on one building and also had them put on a new roof this year 2022 on the second building. They're very reasonable and they're on time and very professional the owner is very nice and they're Aftercare is outstanding. That's why I decided to go with them the second time Thank you Steve and your whole crew. I give you guys 10 Stars!!

Customer service is one of the of the best. Johnny Bravo and his crew addressed my questions and follow-ups timely. Service started as soon as I signed. They addressed immediate areas of concern while we waited for weather to clear for the major work to be done. Would recommend them to others.

Alex and Jose from Royal roofing where great from start to finish. Had issues with rain delaying the job but once they got started it was a smooth installation and constant updates from Alex. I have a midcentury modern house with a flat roof. Royal Roofing did a tear off and installed a new hot mop cool roof Jan. 2021. Fantastic job, pleasant and hard working crew, two rain storms so far and no leaks! Finished product looks great - just like a commercial roof. Johnny was knowledgeable and easy to work with getting the estimate and job set up. Only bummer was waiting 2 months to get it done due to a back log but it was worth the wait!

Last month we had Royal Roofing complete an entire strip down of our existing residential tiles and had them replace & reinstall a new slate shingle covering with their recommendation from GAF and the GAF UHD Timberline Reflector Product Series. The roof looks outstanding and the entire experience from beginning to end presented to us a service level unmatched and unparalleled to anything we’ve personally seen and felt in years as this relates to homeowner maintenance and renovation requirements.

It starts at the top --- having and getting easy access to company president, Steve Pinkus, who took the time to meet with us, to answer all the questions and explain all the details. In the course of our everyday lives, these meetings are typically coordinated through ungrateful sales and staff 95% of the time – and having a connection to Steve directly was unexpected, and super appealing. Plus, there was an occurrence on a weekend we felt the need to reach out to him due to the chance/threat of rain – and to which he answered and acted immediately. No vm, no calling multiple times, no frustrations.

Next up was the actual job itself --- and communicating & working with Francisco and his crew on the 9-10 days it took to complete our project. All I can say is excellence!! To Francisco especially: from addressing and meeting the needs of the picky minute details we as homeowners always have …..to the clean up at the end of every day. He was patient, tolerant, attentive, and took ownership ...as if he was completing the install on his own home.

It's easy to see Steve is a terrific mentor and him and his team are all doing their part to emulate and demonstrate responsibility. On Friday January 10, 2020, I discovered that the flat roof section of my rental had been blown over and folded in half by the heavy winds of the night before. I started calling people that had had recent roof jobs and asked for contact information for the roofers. None of the roofers that I contacted called me back that day so I decided on Saturday morning to look for a roofer on Angie’s List. My search for roofers revealed a number of companies in the area, but the one that caught my eye was Royal Roofing in Bell Gardens. The reason they caught my eye was because they have been in business since 1980 and have great customer reviews. Through Angie’s List, I decided to contact Royal Roofing. An answering service took my message and within minutes I received a call from Steve Pinkus, president of Royal roofing. Steve took the time to address my concerns and stated that he would do everything possible to help me get the problem resolved before expected rains on Thursday, January 16. Steve was able to get Johnny Bravo, one of their service representatives to come out and inspect my roof that same morning. On the spot Johnny, conducted a video call with Steve and they came up with the best solution to resolve a problem that had not been addressed by the previous roofer. On that same Saturday, within an hour I had a reasonable estimate which included a discount for using Angie’s List. After discussing the estimate with my wife, we decided to go ahead and get the job done. Steve had a crew at my rental property first thing Tuesday morning and by Thursday at noon, the job had been completed. The work looks amazing, the workers were professional and clean. Steve kept me updated with photos, calls and text messages every step of the way. Steve, Laura (in the office) and Stephanie Pinkus, the owner, were all so pleasant and brought a family feel to the whole ordeal. I made an appointment one week prior and they left me a message saying appointment was still on schedule but if it's raining we will call you to postpone, but do give us a call if you dont need an estimate. So by that logic I didnt need to call since my time hadnt changed. Today I called to ask why no one showed up and they cancelled "because of the rain." Not the most clear communication.
