During the recent Palisades fires, when power, my solar battery backup stopped working, and of course, I couldn’t get ahold of SCE given the circumstances. I thought I had the right contact for the company that installed my solar system, so I reached out to Bilt-Well Roofing after finding their contact information on the battery pack.

Even though Bilt-Well Roofing wasn’t the installer, Steve, the owner, generously offered to come to my house to help restore power. He took time out of his busy day to assist me, going above and beyond to troubleshoot the issue. His willingness to help—despite the fact that my system wasn’t even something they had worked on directly—was incredibly kind and deeply appreciated.

It’s rare to find a company that truly cares about helping in times of need, even when it’s not their responsibility. I’m so grateful to Steve and Bilt-Well for their exceptional service. If you’re looking for a company that genuinely goes the extra mile for its customers, I can’t recommend them enough. Their dedication and outstanding customer service truly set them apart.

We have used Bilt-Well 2 times now. Our first experience was great. Bilt-Well is responsive, great communication(Lupe) is great. They do what they say and show up on time. Pricing is very fair.
2nd time we had a someone try to brake in to our business and cut a 4ft hole in our roof. Within 1 week the repair was done. The roofing techs were knowledgeable and did a fast 1 day Permanente repair . I highly recommend Bilt-well roofing and repair. They will solve your issues.

I'm a DIYer, but for a couple of projects too big for me, I did much research, got several bids, and made a decision. I hired Bilt-Well. The entire experience of handling these (big) jobs was made so much easier by the professionalism of everyone involved (not sure if I should give names, so I won't); from the office people handling our bid requests (roof and gutters); to the very knowledgeable men that came out to do the bids and gave us some very welcome advise and recommendations; to the contracts (easy to understand); to the down payment and the entire payment(s) process; the promptness, helpfulness, and work ethics of the crews that did excellent work. I was so happy to cross these projects off my list. I will be contacting them again so they can help me tackle some other projects on my list. And I recommend that you do too! They are good people. After the inspection, Bilt-Well provided a detailed estimate and all necessary documentation. The roofers arrived on time, were friendly and respectful of the property, got the job done in one day, and cleaned up so thoroughly I would not have known they'd been here at all. Couldn't hope for more.

After considering multiple estimates and reviewing previous customer feedback, I chose Bilt-Well Roofing for my roof leak repair. They proved to be an excellent choice, offering affordability, ease of scheduling, and skilled roofers. The problem was quickly identified and meticulously solved. The only drawback was their lack of credit card payment option, which made the payment process slightly challenging. Overall, I highly recommend Bilt-Well Roofing for any roofing needs.

Very tidy, clean their work areas really well. Carefully clean anything falling into neighbors' yard - which is very minimal. Good workmanship on the roof. Difficult getting scheduled - don't tell you it will take over 2 months. Office staff scripts evade customer questions. Be prepared to WAIT for scheduling even after paying start fees. They get a 4+ for roofing and a 2 for customer service.

They came out for an emergency service, and though couldn't fix the leak (I need a plumber given its a bursted pipe), they were professional & pleasant & I'll be calling them next time I need roofing done!

Bilt-Well was a terrific partner. Their work is high-quality. The team was hard working and friendly. We had multiple neighbors comment on how accommodating they were when trucks or equipment needed to be moved.

The kick-off took a little while to get going. I had to call multiple times to get answers on the contract before signing. But once everything was set, the start date was set and the work happened in less days than I had anticipated.

I recommend these folks and would/will work with them again.

These guys are great. They came out and fixed my beat up flat roof on the garage. I am having them come back and install a new roof and remove the sky lights on the back of the house.

After more than three months of trying to get Bilt-Well to our job site it became apparent that it was a monumental task for them to arrive to La Cañada Flintridge (no more than 15 minutes away from their yard). Multiple missed appointments with no response or even a heads up, emails with promises that were void in value and a true lack of care on the part of their associates.

Our last and most recent interaction involves Nadia Casildo and "Philip" but again, in three months of toying with me, my client, and my company's time these were just two pawns in their game.

From first contact I was greeted with professional, friendly personnel. Considering how very busy they are/were with our unusual winter that was a plus from the start. The gentlemen who came to inspect & gave the estimate were very thorough & patient when explaining everything. After a not unreasonable delay (it continued to rain) the crew was here & completed the repairs in one morning. The inspection indicated that there are probably 2 more years before the roof will need to be replaced unlike the company who placed the tarp (at an outrageous price) & was pressuring me to replace it immediately. I will definitely be be using Bilt-Well Roofing when the time comes for the new roof. Thank you to all the employees I came in contact with, you're the best!

I had a terrible leak that brought water down my kitchen wall where my sunroom met my roof.
Two terrible storms later Bilt-Well repair kept that problem area completely water proof. I could not be more happy with the repair and with the gentleman who took care of it.

I recently used Bilt Well Roofing Company for a repair of a patch on my roof and I was extremely impressed with their service. The technician arrived on time and assessed the damage promptly. They explained the necessary repairs in a clear and concise manner, and provided a fair and reasonable estimate. We had another roofer come out and quoted $3,650 for the patch work and I called Bilt -Well to see if that was reasonable and they immediately told me that the quote was way too high. They came out and fixed it for $2K. The repair was completed quickly and efficiently, and the technician cleaned up the work area before leaving. Bilt-Well Roofing came out quickly to help us with a small repair job. They were accomodating, reasonably priced, and the guys who worked on the job were also super nice. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services!

Leaky window repair. The men did a great job. They were on time and worked hard to repair the garage and the window. We give them a 10!

That was before it rained! The window kept leaking after they came back twice and then in the last rain I called them twice and they never responded. There was a leak in the garage and they fixed part of it but said it was only leaking where they fixed it but the next rain it leaked in three other places along the edge of the stairs. They never got back to us. They weren't inexpensive either.

Being a homeowner for the past 30+ years, not often, do you find a company like Bilt- Well Roofing who truly understands the value of excellent customer service. That is the reason why they are my “go to” company for all my roofing needs. They are highly dependable, responsive, fair and reasonable and the quality of their work is one I can always rely on as being highest. California Fair Plan was threatening to cancel my 100-year old grandmother's fire insurance plan on Mandeville Canyon unless I made some necessary roof repairs or replaced the roof. Since the house was originally built in 1950, it will most likely be torn down and developed by the next owner. Investing $30k in a new roof on a house which will be eventually torn down after my grandmother passes on was a hard pill to swallow, not to mention her in-home care costs are already through the roof (pun-intended). Two other roofing companies told me I needed to replace the entire roof at a cost of $28 - $35k. I explained the situation to Bilt-Well and they were able to come out and make the necessary repairs to the roof for the insurance company to renew her policy for a fraction of the cost of a new roof. I am very grateful to the kind people at Bilt-Well Roofing and would highly recommend them to anyone. They were honest, reliable, fast, easy to work with, responsive and just overall a great company. I can see why they have been successful in business for so many years.

So glad they were able to come out and inspect and patch up some spots on my roof until I can get the whole roof redone. They were very informative about what needed to be done.

You never have to worry about honesty, professionalism and getting the job done correctly. My parents are in their 90’s. They couldn’t go up on the roof to check out what the problems were that they were being told by a contractor. Come to find out the problem was minimal and not thousands of dollars as described. They are the best in the business and I know as I have been a real estate broker for 33 years and Geoff is so professional and amazing, I use them exclusively as they are the best.

Do not trust this company to install roofing units or lay new seals up to code. If you go with this company take every step to ensure the city inspects their work because they will try to avoid regulations to cut corners. And dont expect any timely response once he sees you’re actually inspecting their work after catching them. Prices are competitive because the quality is not.

Well established business. Did my parents home in Panorama City twice. And now carried on the tradition with my home of 27 yrs in Agoura Hills!

Awesome service from this company! They came out as scheduled, performed work as agreed, and cleaned up everything afterwards. Workers were polite and focused. Hard to find companies who do what they say in todays economy! They did roof repairs on a larger older roof that was previously leaking. Had a huge rain storm next day and no more leaks! Already recommended them to a neighbor down the street. Oh and priced competitively so it was all one could ask for. Thank you!!

I met the owner Steve on June 11th. He came out the same day, looked at the roof, and on June 14th the crew of three came out to do the job. Now that is what I call efficiency! Bill and his team did a fantastic job on our roof. I was a bit skeptical when the forecast was for rain - but they got it done in two days with an amazing amount of professionalism and hard work.

Bilt-Well repaired our roof in a fully-professional manner, and at a fair price. They came when promised and left not a single bit of debris.

We really needed the repair work from the time we bought the house 4 years ago. Finally had the money. Bilt-Well was not the least nor the most expensive company we met. They were, however, the most thorough in their report and estimate on the work we were investigating. They actually gave us three separate estimates for each of our roofing issues. We have two flat sections separated by a pitched middle section and also gutters. They were happy to do the estimates separately to give us the most options for our plan. This was in early Feb. then the apocalypse hit. We were on hold till July. They gave us the same price they estimated in February without blinking an eye even though materials prices went up. At the end of the day they were correct about almost all of the estimates. That said they also gave us a “what if” scenario, including possible costs, in case of..... seriously, they kept their word on that to. (4 plywood pieces needed to be replaced, which we were prepared for in any case). I would use them again and will gladly recommend them to my close and dear friends.
