I cannot say enough good things about Roughlock Builders! I got hit hard with the flooding in Spearfish this past June. I had to completely renovate my basement (19” of water..4 broken windows, it was a mess). They were able to get started putting me back together quickly. The guys that came to my house every morning were always the same people..I grew to completely trust them and wouldn’t hesitate to leave my house for the day if I needed to (they even let my dogs out one day while I was out). They met with me often to keep me updated with the current costs..and were patient with me as I continued to add on extras. The end result was amazing..high quality craftsmanship and no cutting corners. I will definitely use them again in the future..hopefully under better circumstances! Don’t hesitate..

Roughlock Builders is absolutely one of the best Contractors I have ever worked with! Both Justin and Derek provide a high degree of attention to detail and communication through the entire planning/building process and were very responsive to all my questions. I would highly recommend Roughlock Builders for any of your construction needs. I tell everyone about the great job they did with replacing our windows and extending the patio area.

The work that Justin and his team did for us was nothing short of outstanding. Justin was constantly in communication and totally transparent. When many builders seem to have an ego and act like they are so much smarter than their customers, Justin treated us with respect, professionalism, and a great down to earth personality. Hands down THE best company you will EVER work with!! And they actually return your calls & show up as planned! Hah! Justin goes above & beyond explaining the project materials, timeline, process, & building. Derek & the rest of the crew are ABSOLUTE protectionists when it comes to construction. They totally transformed the exterior of our home. We were afraid word would get out & wouldn't get them back for years. So- we rearranged a few things to have them start on our next project right away. Thank you, THANK YOU!!! Could not be more pleased!

Our church hired Roughlock Builders for remodel work in our downstairs kids area after purchasing a building close to downtown. Roughlock was a solid choice! They were thorough in the estimate, not under or over selling. When construction began, you could tell they were experienced. The quality of work was superb, timing was expedient and the team was a joy to work with. Even mid-process they were gracious in working with us on some changes that came after the fact. The finished product came out even better than we had hoped.

We recommend Roughlock for any construction needs you may have, they are some of the best!

My husband and family are so blessed and over the moon excited about how our whole upstairs remodel turned out. We are thrilled to have our before and after pictures displayed on their website. I love the attention to details and how much he takes pride in his work on making sure it is “perfect”! ( I am extremely picky) and he was able to make out dreams come true. He not only does it right, but is very efficient. I would recommend this group for anything from outside, shingles, decks, siding to anything your remodel or new construction needs. You will not be disappointed.
