The excellent customer service with Rooftop Power and their employees is what has made my experience with them as a customer great. I am a very busy man with a lot of responsibilities pulling me in a lot of different directions and it can be quite a challenge for me to keep up with my email, texts, calls, and many other notifications as it seems my phone is always buzzing between my personal and professional life. However, I would like to take some time to highlight some of Rooftop Power's star employees that did a great job following up with me in a friendly way when I am not the quickest to respond. As well as handling a complicated repair to my solar system after some squirrels made a nest under it and caused some damage.
First, I would like to highlight Parker, the Support Case Analyst who assisted talking me through trouble shooting my system over the phone when the squirrel damage was originally noticed. Parker had followed up with me several times to alert me of the damage and I had accidentally missed his initial methods of reaching out to me due to my hectic schedule. When I finally had time to respond and troubleshoot the issue, it was 4:45pm on Friday when I emailed him back and he called immediately to walk me through what to do and stayed past 5pm until his role in the process was complete to keep my open ticket moving. He was a huge help and very knowledgeable over the phone!
Secondly, I would like to highlight Tanner, the technician who came out to do repairs on my system. He was very friendly and super professional. He was kind enough to explain the issues that were going and answer all of my questions on site. He helped me to understand the issue and educate me, rather than talk down to me like some contractors tend to do with customers. Tanner is a hard worker and great at his job, while also being able to connect with customers. Plus, he did his job when it was 20 degrees outside with no complaints!
Lastly, I would like to recognize Maddie, the service estimator who has assisted me throughout this whole process. She has been diligent about following up with me despite my busy schedule and has coordinated with many different teams and people to be able to get my issue resolved. My issue was a bit more complicated because squirrels were involved and we needed to hire another company to remove the squirrels and their nest so Rooftop Power could make the necessary repairs to my system. It's hard to find contractors and companies you can trust these days that aren't going to rip you off. Having no idea who to call about these squirrels, Maddie referred me to Vanguard Wildlife right away. I only had to make one call to Vanguard Wildlife and Maddie took care of the rest coordinating with Vanguard Wildlife on when they needed to visit the site. Vanguard came the first day to remove the squirrels, nest, and put up a temporary barrier around the panels. The next day Rooftop Power made the repairs they needed to. The 3rd day Vanguard Wildlife installed a permanent critter guard barrier to prevent further squirrel incidents. Maddie orchestrated these important steps to resolution with ease! She also answered a lot of questions about repairs, service, pricing, contracts that needed to be updated and changed in a quick an efficient manner. He is extremely knowledgeable and handled my every request with no complaints, but instead with a sense of urgency. She made what was important to me, important to her and didn't quit until I was satisfied. Including gathering a certain roof document with certain language I needed for my insurance company from when Rooftop Power helped me replace my roof a few years ago before installing solar panels. Maddie is an extremely valuable asset as an employee at Rooftop Power and needs to be given a raise and a promotion. Some of the best customer service I have received in years! Especially in an age where we all know customer service has gone down across the board as corporations take over.
