Dillon Jones with Rooftop Chimney Sweeps cleaned my gas fireplace and did an excellent job. My fireplace was extremely dirty and dusty. It shines now! Dillon was so nice and courteous. It was a pleasure doing business with him. I will certainly use the services of this company again and ask for Dillon. Thank you again for the 5 star service.

Recently used Rooftop Chimney Sweeps for an inspection after purchasing a home. Will came out for our inspection and was awesome--very thorough, honest, and shared his knowledge openly with us. He is clearly very experienced and passionate about his craft. After reviewing his recommendations, we scheduled to have repair work done on our chimney. The work was done well, on time, and with no issues. About 6 weeks later, we started to notice water intrusion in our home and couldn't figure out the source (spoiler: it was not from the chimney work). I called Rooftop Chimney Sweeps and requested they come inspect the work that was done to be sure it wasn't related. Will contacted me back immediately, after he was gone for the day, and scheduled to come back for an inspection. He was so incredibly thorough and helpful again, going beyond the scope of inspecting the chimney work to help us figure out what could be the problem. This company, and Will specifically, clearly cares about its customers and ensuring the work thats done is done right. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

Eric did a fine job. He was on time he was thorough and they explain to me whatever needed to be done to keep my family safe.

McKinsey was great. Very affable guy who knew what he was doing. Took care of things throughly and quickly and for a fair price. I would definitely use Rooftop again - and hope to get McKinsey out here next time as well!

Casey was the inspector and he was great! During his inspection he made sure to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. On his tablet he showed pictures of the inside and outside of the chimney. He also showed several options on what could be done for the gas logs and inserts I wanted to know about.
Update: we ended up having the crown and cap replaced as it was in bad shape and we knew it was leaking. The two guys who came out were just a great to work with! They were great about cleaning up, explaining and showing in detail the work they did.

Will was such a smart and thoughtful technician—covering all the bases and being so clear about all my options while providing great explanations when I needed them. 5 stars!

I was impressed with the work that Samuel did at my home. He was efficient and attentive, even when he and his team encountered some unexpected problems. I appreciated his professionalism and care.

Our technician, Dillon showed up on time and was very professional and congenial. He inspected both outside and inside of the chimney and confirmed my suspicions. The work on my leak was performed and appears to have taken care of it. I’m confident that he’s taken care of it but the next rain storm will be the test of his repair. I was assured that they will come back if any leaking is noticed. Great experience with this company and tech. Highly recommended.

We have used Rooftop Chimney Sweeps previously. Eric was the technician who stopped by to conduct our annual inspection. He was punctual and too precautions to avoid tracking dirt inside the house. He provided perhaps the most thorough inspection we have ever received. He checked everything: both fireplaces (inside & out) and the exhaust for the hot water heater & furnace. He took pictures showing issues that needed to be addressed and explained everything. Really appreciated Eric's professionalism and knowledge. He provided excellent service! Hopefully he stops at your place for your next chimney inspection.

Rooftop Chimney Sweeps came out to do a routine inspection on my chimney. I had them clean and replace the cap years ago and needed a check up due to all of the recent rain and winds. Will C. was awesome! He explained each step of the inspection process, made sure to put tarp down to catch any debris and got on the roof to ensure everything was in order. I have used Rooftop for a while now and am happy with the service they provide. Mackenzie communicates clearly, answers all questions and always shows up with a friendly smile and positive attitude. Also, the scheduling is easy and the company reaches out with reminders about the appointment, which I find helpful because my schedule is often unpredictable; I appreciate the flexibility.

7/18/2025 update: After literally WEEKS without hot water, and another company working on my water heater’s venting, I sadly have to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Mac was extremely slow to submit necessary paperwork to my property manager, and scheduling became a nightmare of unanswered calls and apathetic attitudes. The property manager had to ask to vacate the proposal for repair. Furthermore, when the venting was finally examined by the next company, it was determined that the proposed scope of work (cutting into drywall and repairing pipes on three levels of the building) was far greater than the actual need ( just my unit was impacted by the break in venting pipes). The first visit was flashy and and quick, but everything else was sketchy.

If you’ve ever had a carbon monoxide alarm go off, you know how terrifying that sound is. So I’m incredibly grateful for Rooftop Chimney Sweeps for their quick response to my request/prompt scheduling of an evaluation.
My service technician, Mac, was timely, courteous, professional, and helpful. He quickly located and photographed the problem, and, before he left, he was already speaking to the property manager for our condo association about the estimate for services and when he could get access to the common area venting.
If you are unfortunate enough to have carbon monoxide venting problems, (I hope that you don’t!) I would definitely recommend Rooftop Chimney Sweeps and Mackenzie Protopapas for fast, professional service.

This company deserves 5 star i called about the issue we were having with our chimney lady who I talked to the reason I really wanna to go for it and take a chance she was an awesome sweet lady she set the appt right away the technician was so kind polite very professional Explained everything perfectly and they are going to fix the problems hopefully I will update after all is done

I felt like I knew him from childhood lol. Great personality easy to talk to easy to explain every question that I had the only problem I have now is he won’t be the technician to come and do the actual work, but he assured me they were just as good as him. Awesome awesome awesome.

Eric has done an annual checkup on our gas fireplace a number of times. Simply put, he is professional, timely, knowledgeable and a really good guy!

Called chimney sweeps in August, told me they would schedule an appointment. 3 weeks later I get a random call on 4:30 on a Friday and we schedule. Another 3 weeks later they replaced the cap. 2 months later my chimney starts leaking water again. I contact for a repair job, and they tell me someone will call me. I ask for his number, and am told they don’t have it. I left a voicemail on the scheduling lady’s phone 3 weeks ago with no response.

No clue why they have 5 stars, the repair costed $1500 and probably never fixed the issue. Would not recommend.

Update: The owner called me to to ask about my complaint and offered to have a free inspection to double check the work which was nice. He offered a different hypothesis as to why the chimney is still leaking than the other guy that called, which kind of surprised me that they aren’t on the same page. He apologized for the slow responsiveness and said they would talk about it in a meeting?

The work performed was up to par, but it took a one star google review to get their attention to call me back and care. I rarely do this kind of thing and feel terrible I had to do it in the first place.

EDIT: 2 years later and my chimney has water coming in. Walls are wet in my house and mold is growing. I was told it would dry out…

I run a nonprofit and Rooftop Chimney Sweeps installed liners for two chimneys. We had problems with condensation, they assessed and remedied the issue outside and inside the house. The home is large and the roof is steep. The team did an excellent job, and I know that if we have problems in the future, they are ready to help.
