The company was very responsive about sending someone out for an inspection of aspects of our roof that we were concerned about. Mike came out for the inspection and after taking a look at the roof and attic, explained the issues clearly and seemed to be very knowledgeable. Would recommend reaching out to Roofscapes NW.

~ We employed Roofscapes to waterproof our rooftop deck. Four years and 10 months later, the roof leaks, causing damage in our master bedroom. Called them to honor their 5-year warranty, and instead of standing by their work, they blame “natural deterioration.” Now, insurance won’t pay to fix my roof because the benefit excludes damage from "faulty workmanship.” We’re now out the cost of the repairs and must pay someone else to supply a competent roof repair. I wish I knew then what I know now, but now you know. Never do business with a company who won’t stand by their work.

Per the question concerning, ‘has the roof leaked since your last “repair” on 5/22’: Answer: Yes, on 6/5 the roofers we hired to provide the appropriate fix found the plywood directly under your “repair” damp to the touch. Since then, it’s been competently fixed, along with all the other Roofscape welds that we can no longer trust.

Since this matter is currently being reviewed by multiple insurance companies, we won’t comment further until the outcome is determined. For those considering Roofscapes, if you’d like to avoid months of working with insurance, perhaps you should take your business elsewhere.

Back in 2021, I was told by my insurance company that I should be replacing my roof after I filed a claim about a few shingles that got ripped out from a storm. The roofer I used at the time for just the shingle replacement were nothing but a headache to where I literally had to hunt them down to ask why they didn't show up on a good weather day after weeks of delays due to bad weather. This frustration caused me to drag my feet on the roof replacement and not choose these people for the roof replacement.

Fast forward to 2025, I kept seeing ads for Roofscapes NW and after reviewing their business and also my desire to support the AAPI community, I reached out to them and I'm glad I did. From start to finish, they made sure I was in the loop on everything, including the surprise cost we encountered after finding out that I had to get all of the plywood replaced (yes, it was THAT bad on my 100+ year old home!). We knew our roof was 27 years old and due for replacement. We bought this house 3 years ago and the inspector warned us should be replaced ASAP. We had a really good experience with these guys when they did our detached garage project. They were prompt, showed up when promised, worked quickly and well, and the communication with the workers and especially with the office staff was great. They came prepared to add structure to the roof substructure to strengthen it, which we weren’t even expecting, so that was an added bonus.

Somewhat unusual project, a covered breezeway between the house and detached garage. Came up with a good design, installation was quick and painless. Cleanup . . . ashamed to say they left it cleaner than it was to start with. This is our second project with Roofscapes and we highly recommend.

An incredible experience. Our residential roofing job was complicated and involved 3 different types of roofing. The communication, follow up, quality, and on-site teams were the best I’ve worked with over many years of home ownership.

We reached out to Roofscapes NW Inc. for support figuring out what was going on with our metal roof. The roof is roughly 5.5 years old but we've had countless amounts of leaks. The Roofscapes team was very communicative throughout the process and accommodating of our schedule.

Unfortunately when Jon arrived, it started raining so he was not able to get up on top of the roof. He did spend a good amount of time looking around the attic space and even using a drone to take a closer look at the roof. He spent quite some time trying to understand our roof but unfortunately he wasn't able to figure out where our leaks were happening without getting onto the roof and the rain wasn't heavy enough to see penetration.

Jon was very honest in his work and didn't charge us for his time since he wasn't able to figure out what was going on. He did recommend us to other people who could potentially help look at it further. We really appreciate his honesty and you can definitely tell that the Roofscapes team is there to help.

I can't recommend Roofscapes more highly. From first contact, dealing with evaluating my existing roof and its problems, through bidding and planning, to the actual work of replacing the old roof, Roofscapes was always prompt, professional and efficient. What they promised, they delivered. Compared to the other companies that gave me bids, Roofscapes was also reasonably priced and did not make gimmicky offers that had nothing to do with quality work. After the work was completed there was a minor problem with the weathervane which Roofscapes fixed immediately. They are trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.

I contacted a few roofing companies recommended in a local Facebook group. Roofscapes NW was one of them. They stood out by a very comprehensive initial roof inspection with a detailed diagnostic and relevant solutions. The communication was great before, during and after the project was completed. The crews (one for a shingles roof and one for low slope roofs with TPO materials) worked efficiently, and any tiny hiccups that you would expect for this type of project got fixed asap and with care. The cost structure was transparent, it ended up costing more due to unexpected roof conditions when tearing out the old roof, which wasn't easy to predict. I would overall recommend Roofscapes and hope this business thrives as it deserves it!

I had some different quotes and ended up going with this family owned business of John and Melissa. I had some siding issues that caused some roofing problems. Roofscapes NW worked with that previous contractor to get them a bid for the damages caused. I got three different options from Roofscapes NW and the ending product looks great. They started on a Monday in early February and ended on Tuesday. It was fast, and I've found very little roofing debris in the yard. They were on schedule and the communication with the team is very good. Thanks again.

Roofscapes NW approaches the roof as the system that it is, not just the visible outer barrier, whether it be composite, metal or membrane. They won't sell you a roof if you don't need one, but they will inspect the entire system to identify any hidden issues.

It's interesting when you find a company that, if they do a good job, you will never see again. That's really what you're looking for in a roofing company . . . that's Roofscapes NW.

When we figured out that we needed a new roof -- might have been the water seeping through some windows -- we asked around, looked at online reviews, and followed everyone's advice to "get three bids." All three companies had solid reputations, all had worked with friends in the past, and, considering the size of the job, the bids probably wouldn't be too different; all three representatives were straightforward and seemed to know what they were talking about.

Jonathan Baldivino from Roofscapes NW was a little different than the others, though. First, before even climbing on the roof, he went into the attic/crawl space, looked in every nook and cranny, measured, looked at venting, measured some more . . . he was the only one who did this. After that, he climbed up onto the roof and started looking around . . . and looking around . . . and measuring . . . and looking some more. It was incredibly thorough and, when he came down, he calculated the bid right there. He talked to me about venting and what he felt we needed or didn't need, he talked about options and changes, and presented me with the actual bid. What I especially appreciated was that, right then and there on the bid, he listed the various upgrades and additions BUT was willing to tell me which ones I really didn't need and the one or two that might be worth it. He took his time, explained everything, and it was pretty clear from that point that I would be choosing Roofscapes NW.

[When bids from the other companies came in, one was a little lower and one was a little higher. When I spoke with Jon about it, he pointed out a couple of the differences BUT was able to come down a little bit to help us out. In addition, they were able to price out some extensive work on the facia that would have to be done. All in all, I felt that I was being dealt with honestly and with respect.]

Before we had signed the contract, we ran into a problem in our house. There was heavy rain and water was coming in through a couple of windows. (There were holes in the old roof so water was getting underneath and coming down the side of house BEHIND the siding.) I called Roofscapes NW -- I was about to sign the contract anyway -- and two hours later Carlos had come out and tarped the roof for us. This was great because, like every other roofing company, they had a number of jobs ahead of us and we were going to have to wait a little while for them to get to our house. The tarp never moved . . the water never got into our house again.

When the time came to actually do the job, a small crew came, did the whole thing in two and a half days, did great clean-up, and were done. They were professional, they were careful, they were friendly, they were efficient . . . do I need to go on? Well, I will! Because there's one more HUGE detail. Early on the second day, Carlos came to the door to talk to me. He said that, after they examined all the facia that needed replacing, they found it didn't need replacing at all. There were some "tails" that we had always planned to cut off and there were two small pieces that would have to be replaced but even though this facia work was part of the signed contract, he didn't feel it was necessary, saving us almost $2000 in the end. That kind of honestly is amazing, is appreciated, and makes me wish I had another roof to replace.

Need a new roof? Get some bids, of course, but make sure you call Roofscapes NW. Getting a new roof can be a stressful and expensive experience. They are an honest, professional, reasonable, and quality company, and I can't imagine I'll ever see them again.

Jonathan came out to inspect our roof and offer recommendations for repair of a leaking chimney. He took the time afterwards to review his photos and other findings with me. I really appreciated him making time for a zoom call several days later when I had additional questions. Jonathan's team was able to complete the repair in a timely manner and we've had no leaking since. Only small negative was that there was some debris left behind after the repair. Office staff was friendly and responsive.

We received quotes from multiple companies but were most impressed by Jonathan and Roofscapes. His explanation and recommendations were thought out, clearly communicated, and well justified. We were especially impressed with his explanation on how many vents we would need; none of the other companies we received quotes from had a clear plan on the quantity of vents they felt were needed. The price was fair compared to other quotes we received. The installation team did a great job and were thorough about checking for nails/debris and cleaning up after themselves. We are really happy with our new roof and would highly recommend Roofscapes to others.

Of them all I was impressed with the approach John took when he assessed our roof. I believe the first words out of his mouth, let’s see if you really need a new roof or can we maintain what you have. He spent the next 60 minutes checking out our roof and climbing through the attic. He then spent some time coming up with a detailed report and we talked for another 30-45 minutes over options and strategies. The quote was fair and I like the attention of detail he provided in his analysis/quote. Carlos and the crew did a daily sweep of the property to clean up any debris. They’re kind and courteous all while doing an excellent work. Also Amanda did a great job at communicating information about the job as the install date came close and while the job was underway.

We reached out to Roofscapes NW about fixing our sunroom (glass) roof. We've had an extremely difficult time getting anyone to come even look at it, let alone fix it.

Roofscapes was prompt in scheduling an appointment for a quote, they came out, looked at it, and then the owner assured me he'd have a quote within 48 hours. And...nothing after nearly two months of waiting. I've pinged them twice. The admin did respond each time, to be fair. But still no quote.

I understand if a project isn't in your wheelhouse, or it's too complicated, or maybe our house is haunted? I also understand how busy contractors are. We were more than willing to wait to get the work completed. We just wanted a quote!

We have a feeling this project is not a usual one, so contractors just don't want to do it. But please don't ghost me. If I wanted to keep getting ghosted, I'd just re-download Tinder instead.

I needed a new roof and Roofscapes NW came out, did the inspection and gave a quote. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and professional. I also got quotes from two other roofers, but went with Roofscapes NW. The work was planned out for a couple months ahead, due to demand, but fortunately we were able to move it up when the schedule cleared. Amanda kept good contact with me. The workers did a terrific job on the roof, it is gorgeous and now I'm ready for the next winter. The job was delayed a day, but Amanda called and let me know ahead of time, which was helpful. The job also did take a couple of days longer than expected; this time, no one ever explained to me why, until after the job was done. So a two-day job got started a day late and ended up being a four-day job with no explanation. Also, the big trailer that they backed up against my house actually scraped the side of my house and damaged a storage cabinet. You'll notice I'm giving them 5 stars anyway. This is because Jonathan came out, inspected the scrapes and the cabinet, filled in the scrapes and paid for a replacement cabinet. Things happen; the important thing is that Jonathan and Roofscapes NW made it right. This is the mark of a business with integrity. I highly recommend Roofscapes NW.

We recently bought an older home during the height of the market and the sellers would not consent to an inspection. We decided to go ahead with the purchase and get an inspection after the sale closed. Jonathan of Roofscapes NW came to our house this afternoon to do a roof inspection. Review Date 10/10/22:
Roofscapes NW installed the roof August 2018. Then, I had the wood stove removed in 2021. The chimney needed removal, plus roof patching and they did an excellent job and got the work completed in such a short amount of time. Work was completed on the same day (September 2021). I was very impressed, and the work area was left clean.

10/3/22 for my attic insulation project, Jonathan performed a courtesy roof inspection and gave me a professional recommendation for material on my attic venting project. He called to give me an estimate time of arrival, he arrived early and took the time to answer my very many questions for my own education and understanding.

The attic project will need 12 roof vents. Because of my project's tight schedule, he worked with me on ordering the metal roof vents (my contractor only carries the plastic roof vents.)

I'm glad that Jonathan recommended the metal roof vents, otherwise my contractor would have installed the plastic roof vents which would probably fail in a short amount of time.

Jonathan gave me guidance throughout the planning of my attic insulation project. He said he would personally inspect my contractor's work after the metal roof vents are installed.

My next project, 2 skylights.

My wife and I recently had Roofscapes NW do a total tear down of our current roof.

They began by removing all the current roof, and the OSB underlayment, replacing it with plywood.

Then we had them add 12 inch extensions to all the eaves and gables, as our existing roof was built with no overhangs.

We finished up the project by having them install a Smart Vent system and put down a new asphalt roof.

I cannot say enough good things about Roofscapes Northwest. Jonathan, the owner, patiently dealt with all our questions over a period of years as we worked to position all the rework projects on our 1940’s house.

Amanda, the office manager has been a font of knowledge and patience as we worked to get our roofing schedule molded in around rewiring work, asbestos and furnace removal, heat pump system installation, and a multitude of other lesser projects.

And the crew that showed up to do the work? OMG - I have never in my life seen folks work harder at what they do, and as someone who spent some 20 plus years as a boatbuilder, I am very familiar with long hours, excellent workmanship, and attention to details. The Roofscapes crew were exceptional in every sense of the word.

Like most folks, we got multiple bids before going with Roofscapes NW. With one insane exception, the majority of the prices were within the range of what we paid to get the work done by Roofscapes.

What set Roofscapes apart from all the others was service. They were more than willing to answer any questions in a timely manner. They gave us options others glossed over and told us were too difficult, or not worth doing. Jonathan listened and explained things better than anyone else we talked to about roofing.

I have a 36 year old house with the original roof, and it needed to be replaced. I had got 4 estimates. I chose Roofscapes NW to do the work. I wanted a 40 year shingle. I'm 62 and don't want to have to do this again in my life time. They sold me a high quality 40 year architectural shingle. They installed flashing all around. Replaced 3 sheets of plywood and installed all new vents. I'm a gardener and have Berry Bushes, Flowers, and shrub's all around my house. They where very respectful about my plants and covered them with tarps to minimize any damage. They did a nice, neat professional job. They cleaned my gutter's and yard afterwards.
A few month's later I notice a couple of minor issues that were more heat related then anything else. I called Jon in the morning and he had a Tech out here that afternoon and just replaced the 3 shingles.

I had a great experience with Roofscapes NW. I had multiple bidders come out and the team at Roofscapes was the most knowledgeable of all of them. They gave me the why each roofing product on my roof was needed and why that one was better than the other options out there for that job.

On top of all that, the crew installing the roof were great. The work was done quickly and with a minimal impact to my family and work. I work from home and I was able to keep my normal video meetings happening during the roof replacement process (I think there was 1 short period where I had to switch rooms).

Through the complications of a second contractor and the difficulties of scheduling a relatively small job, Melissa at Roofscapes central and Carlos who came out to do the work were both knowledgeable, persistent, responsive and attentive to all aspects of the job. When my roof needs full replacement, I plan on returning to Roofscapes NW Inc.

The estimate was competitive or lower than 4 other comparable estimates. Jon, Mellissa and team were great to work with, and truly strive to make sure the customer is satisfied. Recently contacted Roofscapes NW Inc. to assess my flat roof as I was concerned there was some sagging that could lead to leaks. I called and left a message and promptly received a call back. John arrived on time and assessed the roof and to my surprise said the roof looked good and there was no need to replace anything! He talked me through why he felt the sagging was occurring but said the roof was water tight. He even gave some tips and recommendations to repair a few minor things on our own to ensure the roof retained its life for as long as possible. It's rare to find a contractor that is willing to come on-site for a free quote and provide an HONEST assessment. Although I did not need any immediate work done at this time, I will 100% call Roofscapes NW Inc. for any future roof related questions or when it comes time to finally replace. Everyone I dealt with was just awesome.

Unlike larger roofing companies I got quotes from, the personal touch I got from Jon and his company is hard to find this day in age. Many of the other roofing companies tried to upsell me on new gutters, skylights, and using fancy roofing terminology of other items I would need in an effort to confuse me as the customer, ultimately upping the cost of the project. Roofscapes really cut through all the BS and actually described to me the process, and why they do what they do and how they do it.

Purchasing a new roof is a huge step in the life of owning a home, and can be scary if you don't know what you are getting. The communication was excellent, and I knew exactly what I was getting, which made me as a home owner feel very secure. Sure you can pay any other roofing company for just a new roof, but what you cant buy, is the security and personal touch of Jon and his company Roofscapes NW. It's in the company DNA, the customer comes first at all costs!

My advise to anyone reading this... bigger companies are not always better. Roofscapes wants to do what is best for you as the customer. Unlike other companies, who just sent out a sales representative to my house for an estimate, and trying to get his/her commission on a new roof.

Roofscapes NW recently replaced half of our roof, following damage from a fallen tree. They came out and gave us a quote and then came back and completed the work before several other companies could make it out for a quote. Jonathan also took the time when he was here for the estimate to look in our attic and talk to us about how to fix moisture issues. They performed all of the work the said they would in a timely manner and did a great job. Thank you!

I appreciated the quick response and clear communication from Melissa about the process for getting someone out to look at our issue, and how soon they'd be able to do the repair. Even though it was a very busy time - shortly after a big regional storm and lots of heavy rain - they got us on the schedule quickly, and had the repair done within a few days. The work looks good, and everyone was friendly and professional.

We used this company to redo the entire roof of my house. Unfortunately few days later we had a night of high wind, typical in Seattle during the winter, and we lost quite few shingles because the rubber strip in them did not have the time to settle properly, you need quite few hot days for that but I did not know that before, I guess homeownership it's a constant learning curve!!. The company promptly repaired my roof but few shingles hit my car. Roofscape eventually agreed to pay part of my repair bill which was nice since ,technically, it was an "Act of God". However, I learned my lesson, never re-roof your house in winter, I could have waited few months, it was not an urgent job.
Craftmanship was excellent and I recommend the company but, again, my advice is do not re-roof your house during winter season in Seattle unless you have an emergency situation!!

The company is humble and doesn’t surprise you with increased enormous costs on the final invoice. They didn’t mention that they covered the cost of a lot of product they used but I inspected the roof and see they didn’t charge me for a lot of what they did.

Roofscapes NW wasn't able to work on my kind of building but that didn't stop Jonathan from being so incredibly helpful and patient. Jonathan was very responsive, going out of his way to answer questions for me about roofing, to recommend another company that could work on my kind of building (especially one that could make some repairs quickly), and to make sure I was taken care of. If there comes a point when I'm in a building that Roofscapes can work on, it'll be top of my list to call.

We needed to have our roof inspected before selling our home. It was very short notice, but they were able to schedule us in!
