When searching for a roof installer I was particularly looking for a company with local roots, longevity, and reputation. Knowing fields has been in business for so long I engaged them for an estimate and got prompt return communication, site visit, and completed proposal in a matter or a couple days. Also of importance for me was professionalism, and non-pushy sales tactics.

Of the four companies I gained estimates from, FRS was the most economical even with a top of the line shingle and the best GAF warranty, and the ability to begin work within three weeks. Great installer + great shingle = peace of mind for a long time.

At no point was I pressured and no tactics were used to upsell, game me, or to take financial advantage.

The install crew were professional, well coordinated, and knew exactly what they were doing. Our 24 square roof took 2.75 days from arrival to completion and included: removal of 1 layer of existing shingles + felt, addition of plywood sheathing over non-code compliant roof structure, GAF underlayment's and flashings, and finally the timberline shingles and ridge vent. The net impact to the house and property of 3 days of intense efforts was that I found 2 nails and three square inches of old roofing felt and a couple scratches on the deck where a ladder was leaned for access. In other words: a major victory with basically zero impact and evidence they were ever there other than a brand new roof. The City of Kent inspector was super impressed after his inspection of the plywood nailing and gave an emphatic PASS.

One aspect of the job I took on as home owner was that of permitting. I submitted the permit application the day I committed and requested the inspections as needed. I think this worked for both parties in this instance and lightened the overhead for FRS.

Overall: I cant see needing to go to any other roofer in our area and I can confidently recommend Fields Roofing Service.

During our job we ran into an issue with a color change that their staff handled expeditiously and with absolute professionalism. We hired Fields to reroof our house which had some small leaks in addition to the roof just being in rough shape. when the trucking people ruined my gutter< he calmed me and even shored up the gutter...so the water weight couldn't pull it out of the fascia board. KEEP HIM AND GIVE HIM A RAISE-HE IS WORTH IT!!!!

I called Fields Roof Service (FRS) on the afternoon of our first major September rain/squall/thunder storm and they called back that evening and were out within 24 hours to inspect roof. The source of the leak (a BULLET hole) was found quickly...They were out within the week to complete the repair and I KNOW who I will hire in the future for roof repair or replacement. Chad and his team were exceptional. He clearly laid out the detailed choices of our roofing options. He made the process easy to understand and I knew what I was expecting in the final product. Not only was the choice making easy, Chad earned our trust and I knew the workmanship was going to be on point and him and his team didn’t disappoint! The work was scheduled in the timeline we were given. Not only was the work performed within schedule, the completed project was in line with the estimate he gave us. I also appreciated the care his work crew took in keeping our property clean after each day the work was done. They even used a magnet roller and ensured nothing was left behind. The thing that really struck me in going above and beyond was informing us, the clients of the noise level that would happen during the construction and the impact not only on us, but our dogs. This allowed us to have awareness of what we can do ahead of time to keep our dogs safe and not exposed to something that may make them nervous. Not only a people friendly company, but a dog friendly one too!

We had FRS demo and dispose of our old roof, replace our skylights and install a new roof back in January 2022. Jason did an excellent job of presenting the many choices of product and level of warranties FRS provides. We had 4 bids to have our roof replaced and everyone had some level of service, e.g. gold or 5 star but Jason was the only person who broke it down explaining exactly what each level of service provided. The FRS operations team was great at watching the weather forecast and communicating when the field team would be at our house. The field team does an excellent job of keeping the yard free of roofing debris, especially nails, they roll a huge magnet over the entire perimeter 3 or 4 times to pick up as many nails as possible. We were extremely satisfied with the entire process from the site inspection, the accurate bid, the workmanship and the followup to check on customer satisfaction. We would strongly recommend anyone looking to replace a roof to contact Fields Roof Service!

Virtually our entire extended family has used Fields Roofing Systems a total of six times over the past ten years. Every time any of us have needed to replace a roof we’ve received outstanding service from this company. Sometimes someone in our family has been told to wait because a replacement wasn’t needed for a few more years. Got a handful of quotes when our roof started leaking. While most quotes were around the same price, we went with Fields Roof Service since their work warranty was so strong. Additionally, Chad (who worked with us on the quote) came off like a professional that made us feel confident we'd be taken care of.

The skylight on my house needed to be replaced. I started calling roofing companies to get an estimate. Most companies wanted to replace the roof and the skylight was an after thought. The two estimates I received before Fields Roof Service were very expensive and varied by thousands of dollars with no details. I was disillusioned with the whole process.
We have an architect friend that pointed us to Velux and from there to Velux skylight installers. Both of these companies were much more professional with detailed estimates. However, the Fields Roof representative, Jason Franz, was much better at explaining skylight options and the work to be preformed. He did not come across as a salesman and made me feel like a teammate in the process. I had been working on this for a month and after few days of working with Jason I had a new Velux skylight replacement installed. It's awesome by the way. If I ever have any roofing needs I will go with Fields Roof Service and hopefully have Jason as my representative.

I contacted Shaun Pepper and he immediately dispatched his team to look into leaking roof at our property. The team was very professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond our
expectations in inspecting and reporting back after fixing the leak. Job well done, highly recommend this place as the best roofing company!

Fields Roof Service installed the roof in our house and has been maintaining it free of moss for the last 10 years.
This was a challenge this year as the weather allowed a lot of moss growth (see photo), so it took two days to complete the job around the whole houe.

Fields Roof Service has all that and one more... great customer service. I was incredibly impressed with how quickly they responded to my inquiry on replacing skylights and they were the first out of several companies to provide me with a bid.

Jason spent a considerable amount of time explaining the work and options available to us and they scheduled the work within a week and a half of signing the agreement. While their installation team was onsite, they went above and beyond - our neighbor asked them to help secure a small piece of material on their roof while they were having a home renovation done to prevent rain from going into the house...and they obliged!! Jason also returned to complete the work himself when a part hadn't arrived by our install date to ensure it was done in time for a guest visit.

Excellent service, kind team, and high-quality install. We're extremely happy with our new skylights and will definitely use Fields for any other roofing needs in the future.

Jason from Fields Roofing quoted and supervised our roof installation 2-3 years ago. The team did a wonderful job. Recently, we lost radio connection with our skylight’s pleated shade remote control. We called Jason and he came by a few hours later and restored the remote. Thanks and wow, that is great customer service.

Fields Roof Service replaced our roof. The estimator spent a lot of time looking at our old roof and pointing out defects and deficiencies with it. Extensive time was taken for measurements. The contract included a choice of repair vs replacement, as well as a choice of different products, all of which were affordable. It took a few weeks for the work to be done once the contract was signed. The work crew showed up on time, worked very hard, and cleaned up thoroughly. I highly recommend this company.

We’ve hired Fields Roof Service many times over the years for commercial repairs. They’ve always provided excellent advice, workmanship, and quality materials. The staff communicate well and provide estimates, job updates, and invoices in a timely manner. They’re quick on the job but don’t cut corners. Occasionally they have to troubleshoot unforeseen issues and are always able to diagnose and make repairs. Their technicians are reliable and professional, and we highly recommend hiring them for any roofing needs you have.

Sean assisted us in getting our roof replaced. It was a big project during the pandemic which did cause some delays but his team worked hard to get it done. Sean was very responsive about any issues that came up while the work was in progress; such as leaks. But the issues were addressed quickly. It's been several months since they finished the work and I am happy to say we haven't had any issues come up since.

4/15/2021: FRS is AMAZING! I had a new roof put on my home and my experience with this company was EXCEPTIONAL. Starting with Jason who was professional, extremely knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. He always returned my calls or text promptly. GREAT guy to work with. The crew was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I have a HUGE home and they completed the new roof in 2 1/2 days. They cleaned up each day like no one was ever there. I LOVE my new roof and will use them in the future. It was an incredible experience and I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We couldn't' have wished for a better experience from start to finish. Our entire experience has been excellent from the sales to installation process. Great communication and the crew was awesome. Steve Bozorth is an excellent sales representative and project manager. He patiently answered all our questions and provided great recommendations, specifications and clarifications of the offered products etc. Luis and crew did an excellent installation job. It was a pleasure having them on and around our house. Our project was a complete reroofing and included replacing two skylights. We could not be happier with the end result!

We had FRS replaced our 20 years old roof in April due to the leak and they were awesome! They worked fast in 2 1/2 days and did everything we wanted plus new skylight was installed and the price were reasonable with long time warranty. We are very happy with FRS. They cleaned up well and we worked with Chad in FRS, he is great!

When we bought our house, we were told the roof had about 5 years left. One day we opened a side door to discover that the soffitt had come part from the house and was hanging from the roof. We reached out to a few companies for quotes. I have to say my best experience was with Chad from Fields Roof Service. He was on time and went over the roof with me in detail. This is my first house and I don't know much about roofs, so all the information was very helpful to me. The quote was in line with others we received, but I really liked the way the estimate was broken down. Other companies left many items open and I understand that as things evolve there can be additional costs, but the estimate I received from Fields was very transparent and upfront. It allowed me to plan the budget. When work started, the team arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They took care to clean up every day after they had worked. Chad came every day and kept me apprised of the situation. There were some issues encountered and he explained them to me in detail and he then offered me what we could do. Our new roof is amazing. I like the shingles we picked and the work they did was perfect. I actually had a neighbor compliment me on the new roof already. If you need work done, I suggest you call Fields. I searched in Google to get a quote on a roof for my house. Chad responded and informed me he will show up Monday and I don’t need to be there. Then tells me I will receive a quote that evening. Chad never showed and came by Tuesday and left his card at my door and called that afternoon and told me I would receive a quote that evening.
