I actually signed a contract with this company at the end of October 2023. I did so because the reviews were phenomenal and Peter was extremely knowledgeable and polite. They were also running a 20% discount on what surely was an inflated cost given the fact that the various laborers that came out couldn’t have been skilled roofers. I don’t have an issue with who a company chooses to represent their company, but the consumer should never have to eat the cost for subcontractor’s subpar service. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️The foreman, Lester, from Birmingham, AL for the first of three different crews that were sent to my house, also was nice and appeared to be keeping my husband and I informed.

See synopsis of events that occurred over nearly 1 1/2 months of trying to get the roof that left my flowerbeds crushed, nails all over my yard and currently shingles already lifting installed:

Two of the things that Peter used as selling points when he came out were that the project would take one day and the fact that the turtle back vents shown were supposed to be REMOVED and ridge vents would be installed. I specifically asked if the turtle back vents would be removed and he said yes. There was no maybe, but a definitive YES. Guess what we still have turtle backs because they were not initially removed and we couldn’t trust this company to honor their contract. How were my husband and I supposed to know that the first crew wasn’t going to complete the entire job. When I asked the second crew that came out about completing the removal of turtle back vents allegedly only one person could understand/speak English well enough to converse with me so he had to call a gentleman by the name of Rico. I was told via phone by Rico that his crew was from Mobile and were told only to finish the shingles and that they had another job to get to and could not do anything else. Once My husband came home from work, he actually went into the attic to see if the cuts were made in the roof for the ridge vents and they were not. We then realized why the first crew didn’t remove the turtle back vents because they had NEVER ACTUALLY installed the ridge vents They just needed to deceive us by making it look like they installed the ridge vents because looking at the roof from the outside it appeared that we actually had ridge vents. This entire ordeal with the company has been a nightmare. With the cost of the roof, one would think that there would not be so many issues, but we had to talk to four different people in the offices of this 5-star rated company and none of them seem to be on the same page, which leads me to believe that someone is leaving out pertinent details or only cared about the all all mighty dollar. Everyone from the offices was apologetic and kept saying that this has never happened before, but no one from the company that was supposed to be in charge set foot on my property to check on the project nor verify my claims. I never signed the certificate of completion, but the company still got paid and I have not heard from anyone since As I stated before we had been very patient and pleased until excuse after excuse began after the three day cancellation period, but before day one of commencement of installation.

See every excuse given from Nov 17-Jan 4, 2024:

-can’t come today due to weather, but no rain at all so showed up on a Saturday, but didn’t finish;
told not enough material so they would not be back until Monday, but showed up on Sunday for about an hour anyway, but did no work;

showed up Monday, but per code enforcement NO PERMITS to work so no work done. A 5-star company employing laborers that don’t have proper paperwork to work;

came back Wednesday before Thanksgiving and worked half a day not enough material;

on Dec 6, showed up, but wrong material on back of Lester’s truck or so he told my husband. No work done that day;

not enough material so then I called Peter, who had three other office people with company to reach out to me. We did the phone calling and texting until all shingles appeared to be properly installed. We didn’t want anything for free, but just wanted what we paid for done correctly and in a timely manner. And we are paying a hefty price for our roof!!!!

Lucas was a great help with the roofing sale very helpful. Justin and the team did a wonderful job installing. Highly recommend.

The whole crew were very professional and were working hard from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They did an excellent job on the roof and on the clean up afterwards!
The new roof looks fantastic, and I am highly pleased!

LC and his crew has done my metal roof. They have been extremely sufficient and kind always keeping in touch and very good work.

They did a great job!!! Stripped it down to bare wood. Replaced rotten wood decking all in 1 day. I'm happy with the results.
