Exceptionally fast and clean at a great price. I needed my roof done in a hurry and I needed it to be affordable and I was very happy with the results. The quality of work was great, and they communicated well. I highly recommend this service.

It was a pleasure working with Phil and the team to complete our Roof Project. Phil was ultra responsive, competitive, with no BS added as we saw from some of the other roofing companies in the area. The team was insanely fast, completing a full ply-replacement + roofing in 2 days! I would strongly recommend Phil+ the team if you are looking for a straightforward roofing job.

Having owned older homes throughout the US for my entire adult life has brought me in contact with many exterior and interior restoration experiences. Phil Coates of ROOFING RAIN OR SHINE is one of the most professional, communicative, and customer-focused leaders I’ve worked with. His team just finished replacing the roof on a 1907 home, (no central A-C!) where I occupy the top of 3 condominiums. 90 degree + temps had made me dread coming home to an
unhealthy high temperature, BUT NO MORE!

Now I'm posting a new one since they responded immediately and professionally to a minor issue we were having around the base of the chimney. Even though it wasn't directly related to the roof or roofing materials, Phil came out to do an assessment and helped us get it repaired. Phil and his team were excellent. He was really communicative in the initial phase of establishing the particulars of the project, and completely professional. His workers were also completely professional-friendly and great in terms of prep and clean up. The roof looks FANTASTIC. I never expected to care about the aesthetics of my roof until I had a gorgeous one! Now that it’s complete, I’ve had a few questions about proper long term maintenance, and he’s been completely helpful with that.

They accommodated my special requests: adding a vent for the kitchen hood, removing the brick chimney top. They removed 3 layers of shingles, added new plywood, and made this old house feel and look new again. A year and a half later, it still looks sharp! Best of all, Phil continues to answer any of my questions (about maintenance, weather, etc) even 18 months later! I always learn something new talking to Phil. Phil and his team are amazing!

We hired them remove 2 layers of asphalt shingles and install a standing seam metal roof.

The previous owners neglected a number of issues that were uncovered during the tear off. Despite the project becoming much more difficult and time consuming the crew kept a great attitude and Phil kept us informed about every step of the process and was totally transparent about any additional costs.

Knowing there are serious issues with your roof is incredibly stressful, especially with all the rain here, but we knew we were in great hands and the final result looks wonderful.

Called Phil Coates on a Friday to ask about fixing some wind damage on a roof his company installed one year and four months ago. He had people come by later in the day and temporarily patched the problem. They were back promptly the following Monday morning for the permanent repair. Couldn't be happier. Thanks, Phil.
