I recently had my townhouse’s roof, siding and gutters replaced due to hail damage.

Working with Roofing & More has been easily the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Gabe took on my insurer’s low-ball estimate and got them to approve all repairs. Since this was a multi-day job, Kayla in the office phoned me each day to tell me when the teams would arrive (and in the case of some rainy days, not be arriving) the next day. Oscar, the Field Supervisor, was on-site at least once each day, and made a point of explaining how things were progressing and to ask me if I had any questions/concerns. The crews were polite and did a great job cleaning up each day.

I was very pleased with Roofing & More. The gentleman who came to inspect my roof was extremely thorough and showed me pictures he had taken of the areas that had issues. I felt that he was truthful and did not inflate the need for work that was unnecessary. He gave me a quote, explained their process, showed me there insurance documentation, etc.
The work was scheduled relatively quickly within the time frame I was given. The office was very easy to communicate with.
From what I observed, the workmen were very thorough in doing the repairs and fixed every issue that was found during the initial inspection. They also did a more thorough inspection of my entire roof while they were upon it. The supervisor showed me photos of the work once it was completed. The final cost was exactly what I was quoted.

We needed a new roof on our home so we contacted three different companies for estimates. The first company sent a man to inspect our roof and provided us with their estimate a few days later. The second company didn't send anyone to our home, but claimed they could tell what they needed to know from a report generated by drone and satellite data. The third company we contacted was Roofing & More, and they sent Project Consultant Shane Flanagan to our home. Shane inspected our roof and was the only person to go up into our attic to inspect the condition of the underside of our roof's plywood sheathing. A few days later Shane returned to present us with estimates. He brought with him a kit containing samples of the actual materials offered in the estimates to show us. He offered us 3 estimates for our new roof (good, better and best). Shane has a thorough knowledge of roofing and other home improvement projects. We selected the “best” category of roof, which was the most expensive alternative, although at no time did we feel any sales pressure from Shane. Office Manager and Client Care Specialist Marie Hoffman then called us to set a time for a pre-project meeting with Production Manager Armando Salazar, who would be supervising the crew and the entire project. Marie kept us informed of each phase of the project (material deliveries, scheduling, etc.) She is an amiable person and easy to reach by phone. Armando Salazar then came to our home for the pre-project meeting. Armando explained to us each phase of the project. He listened to our concerns and made notes of our specific requests and concerns. The roofing crew did an excellent job, and when they had finished, Armando returned to do a final inspection. He observed several minor issues needing attention. He dispatched crew members to correct the remaining issues. After 3 days of work the job was complete. It was a big job because we had all the plywood sheathing replaced. Armando took photos of the work while it was in progress, and upon completion he shot 2 videos on the roof, showing the finished work. We hope this review gets 2 points across: the first is that the quality of work done was excellent. The second point is that Roofing & More gave us outstanding customer service. We live in the affluent and busy region of Northern Virginia. There are many home improvement companies in this area. We believe we happened to find the company with the highest level of customer service. Thank you Roofing & More!

Roofing & More is a company I’ve know about since the early 1990s. (I heard their commercials on the radio). We have owned this 42 year old house since October 2018 and at that time, it was indicated that the double-shingled roof had some safety issues that would need to be addressed. We called Roofing & More for their professional assessment earlier this month (2024).

We met with their management and had all our questions answered about what we need (and don’t need, ie, solar panels). We were given documents that detailed our plan. We were visited again by “quality control” who explained more details, what could occur (ie, any surprises underneath the shingles), and how the workers would work on the day of replacement.

The roof was replaced yesterday (October 23) by a team of skilled workers. All went very well! Perfect? No. Excellent? Yes! They were here for 11 hours and were very methodical about their approach. They did find several places where the base wood (under the shingle layers) was damaged by animals and rain/snow. They took care of the missing flashing, insuring that the roof does what it’s supposed to do in rain to divert the water in a safe manner (which it hadn’t previously).

I don’t have pictures, but we will be getting them. Armando (senior construction inspector) showed us many, many photos of before and after, along with a video he took today (October 24) up on the roof. He explained in detail what was done, what was taken up to code and beyond, and how the roof will “behave” in rainy weather. Roofing & More has been available to answer our questions and concerns and I feel that they will continue to follow up to make sure that we are happy with the work.

Workers could have done a little better job of covering up our deck, but they were also very careful to remove extra deck furniture before they began. Everything was cleaned up and all trash and nails and old shingle debris removed. They carefully put all our plants back after they cleaned up the yard, deck, sidewalks and driveway. We have no complaints and would give them 5 stars out of 5!

Extremely happy with my experience with Roofing and More. My front and back door are beautiful. Thank you to all, from project consultant Shane Flanagan for his patience and as I chose my doors to Marie Hoffman (owner) who kept me updated on my project. Also a big thank you to Armando Salazar who was able to make a change request for me on one of the doors. And a final thank you to Jose Hernandez who came onsite during the installation to make sure everything was going smoothly and also came by the next day for a final inspection. This is a fantastic company with superior customer service.

We had a great experience with this team replacing all the siding and wrap on our house. We have extensive gardens along one side of the house, the crew built a scaffold to cover the plants while they worked, there was zero damage. The siding looks great, they paid attention to every detail, the flashing, caulking, fitting around curved windows. This is truly a team effort; Eric was very helpful on the measuring and estimate, the production manager Armando did a walk through with me and passed the information to the crew, and the field supervisor Alejandro came to see the work and talk to the crew every day. Roofing & More saved the day! My husband and I recently bought our house and came to learn after we moved in that there was a serious problem with the siding that "enclosed" the bump out and our fireplace. I say "enclosed" because it was not properly sealed when it was built. This led to all sorts of damage and the need to replace the valve on our fireplace. Nobody could diagnosis the issue - until our Realtor recommended that we have Roofing & More take a look. The team was fantastic and even helped us run multiple tests (imagine standing outside the fireplace with a running hose to try to imitate the direction rain was getting inside the house - anything we could come up with they were willing to try) until we figured out how the water was getting into the fireplace. They recommended a fix that would actually establish a barrier between our home and the elements. We were able to schedule relatively quickly and by the time they were done they had cleaned up everything so well my husband didn't even know they had been by to do the work!! Will certainly keep their contact info and reach out in the event we need any other work done (roof-related or siding - honestly, there's nothing that Roofing & More can't do)!

I recently had my roof and gutters replaced and I am currently waiting for a few other pending repairs to be complete. So far, my experience with Roofing and More has been really good. Charles made multiple trips to the house to conduct thorough walkthroughs and had multiple conversations with me to ensure I understood all of the information and options. As an architect, i am very picky about work done for me, and i inspect everything. That being said, the PM, foreman, and crew did an absolutely perfect job.
