We needed a roof replacement, a job complicated by the deck built atop that roof. The initial costs for the job were daunting. Roof Solutions came up with a concept for the replacement of roof and reconstruction of deck at a reasonable cost. And they did a beautiful job of it! We're very happy customers.

After several others companies failed to solve a persistent roof leak I had, Roof Solutions solved the problem. They were easy to work with from start to finish and carried out the work in a careful, thorough manner. This is a serious, professional company with high standards.

my terrace deck (3rd floor, attached to room with its own roof) was built by roof solutions in 2015. the roof underlying the deck replaced at the same time. must have been a less than up to par job, as the impermeable lining used was inadequately secured by the wall flashings and termination bars. this, of course, led to a leak. despite still being under warranty, every excuse was given as to why it was no longer covered. the representative who visited felt that the deck work was ok, but the roof of the building (roof of the attached room) needed to be replaced. this was done at a cost of $11,400 and ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY as that roof in retrospect was entirely intact; russell, the owner, is under the impression that complimentary services to temporize siding defects were offered. this is absolutely false - nothing complimentary was ever offered. the siding installed by roof solutions needed to be repaired, but NOT at their cost despite being under warranty. when i told the on site representative that finding a company to perform the repairs was difficult, Russell, the owner decided to do me a "favor." although the rep made it clear that roof solutions no longer provide siding work, since my search for a company was leading nowhere, he would take care of it. several days later i received a proposal to repair the siding of this small terrace for $28,800; the other proposals ranged from $7000-9000. this was Russell's "favor!" my condo association used his company both in 2015 and again several weeks ago for what turned out to be a totally unnecessary roof replacement. draw your own conclusions.

Replaced my roof which included a skylight on a very old home in Georgetown. I was very happy with the work and the communications from the company.

I can't say enough good things about Russell and his team. I had just bought my home on Capitol Hill with a standard DC rowhome flat roof that was only a decade old but had never been sealed or treated. He beat out the other contractors' estimates and did a phenomenal job sealing the roof with aluminum fiber, as well as installing a couple plumbing vent collars that were needed. They went above and beyond in removing some old useless wires that were connected to the roof that I could have never gotten to, and repaired my gutter that was hanging off. They even tidied up and secured the loose/long wire from Comcast's internet installation without me even asking. They are extremely professional, prompt, clean, and efficient, and didn't try to upsell me on getting a brand new roof. I'd highly recommend Roof Solutions and will definitely be using them for future roof repairs and eventual replacement, and will be recommending them to my real estate clients as well. Very happy with the service. they called to let me know when they would arrive, and they came on time and did a great job. I thought the price was very reasonable especially since I hadn't had my gutters cleaned in years.

In August, Roof Solutions replaced my aged slate roof with a new high quality faux slate composite roof. The price was very reasonable and he kept to his word on the approximate timing of the work, accommodating my frequent travel schedule. The work was done quickly and competently. I had issues with the care of my yard, which he addressed. My only complaint was that the post project clean up was not handled well (due to heavy summer rains each evening during the work project). There were nails and metal shards in the garden and dog's yard, which should have been found during clean up. Russell Deighton managed the whole process well and was responsive to my questions and concerns.

Just had our gutters and downspouts replaced with Roof Solutions. We got quotes from 3 vendors and Roof Solutions quote was in the middle BUT it was an all inclusive, fixed price quote, including fascia board replacement and paint. The other vendors had it as an add-on cost even though it clearly needed replaced. After the add-on costs the price tags would have been nearly identical. I appreciated the up-front, direct quote. Jerome was prompt in answering all questions, his team showed up on time and completed the project quickly and left the site clean. I had a minor change request and Jerome's crew was out the next day to take care of it. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
