Best decision we’ve made was hiring Ron & his crew. Ron is honest and always got back to us if we had questions or concerns. His crew are great workers, they know what they are doing & they are very polite. We will definitely be using them again.

Beginning in fall of 2023, we contacted several contractors to provide detailed estimates to construct a new garage for us in Ellsworth beginning in the Spring of 2024. Only Rob Bragg Carpentry came through with a well-researched and detailed estimate, which he was willing to revise to meet our budget. His crew and subcontractors were very professional and attentive to details. Ron communicated with us regularly and responded to texts and calls promptly. The garage project included a 2nd floor “bonus room” with a dormer and built-in knee-wall bookcases and storage built based on photos from Pinterest! The room is absolutely beautiful and we are enjoying its spaciousness and natural light. The garage is our first with automatic garage door-openers--finally! The project included a patio on the backside of the garage, and re-grading and paving the driveway. The exterior blends seamlessly and perfectly with the main house. You may find general contractors who are less expensive or more expensive. Ron’s work ethic and craftsmanship land in that sweet spot where you get top value for your money. We highly recommend him and consider Ron Bragg Carpentry worth waiting for, especially if you have lead time to plan your project.

Ron Bragg's company recently helped out on a complete bathroom remodel.Their work throughout was exemplary. High praise especially goes to Jason, who installed porcelain tile and a new medicine cabinet and lighting and accessories. He also reinstalled trim and did some drywall work related to the replacement of a bathtub and vanity. Well done!

Ron Bragg and crew added a second story addition to our ranch home, AND renovated our kitchen completely, down to the studs and back, AND ALSO renovated our mudroom. It took six months to complete this complex job, involving framing, flooring, drywall, plumbing, siding, painting, tiling, and electric. Ron's crew was punctual, talented, and hard-working. Ron's sub-contractors (plumbing and electric) were also top notch, solving problems as they presented. Ron and his crew were friendly, clean and did a beautiful job. Restoration from leaking roof was completed very nicely. Looks like nothing ever happened.

From this to finished work. Ice dam backed up into living room. Ron Bragg Construction fixed it all. Lots of dust but worth it in the end. We would hire Ron and his team again if (Heaven forbid) another renovation project is required.

Ron Bragg Carpentry installed a beautiful cedar deck to our house in July 2023. The work they provided was excellent, just beautiful. All of his employees performed a professional work and were very nice. All our questions were answered immediately. The deck was finished on time, even with the rainy weather in July. Ron and his team performed several projects in our house including arranging for subcontractors (electrical, plumbing and heating) to coordinate timewise with his crew to remedy a number of issues we had with our house. All of his employees and subcontractors were very courteous, efficient and did outstanding work.

Ron Bragg renovated our kitchen and we are very pleased. Ron was communicative throughout the whole process and always available. His crew was on time and worked diligently. Ron continually told us "we just want you to be happy" and solved multiple problems as they came up to do just that.

I can recommend Ron Bragg Carpentry without reservation. They remodeled two bathrooms at my house last spring and refinished cabinets in my kitchen. This past winter, they repaired walls and painted my entire downstairs living space and part of the upstairs. The quality was excellent (and I'm pretty picky!). His workers were professional, accommodating, and very pleasant to have around. One thing that really made the difference for me was Ron's recommendation to install and stain beadboard around my kitchen island. Wow! It really made that island pop and improved the looks of the entire living/dining room area. I love it! Ron seems to be respected and liked by his employees and I believe the respect goes both ways! I knew Ron through a work colleague and he built the house across the street from me. The renters have told me that should they have the chance to build their own home, they will contact Ron. Will leave similar value and services to Home Depot who we found and were assigned Ron Bragg Carpentry. Our carpet install tearing at seams, our garage project missing. They have drug this out since last Sept 2021 still not fixed make up lies about looking for receipts. We are pursuing all legal action for deceptive and faulty work.

You will note that most of the 5 star reviews are over a year ago. I have used Ron Bragg Carpentry on projects in the PAST and was very happy. Things have changed and it's not good! He may blame it on the employment market, but I would say he is not giving the needed direction to his employees.

We used Ron Bragg Carpentry for a large addition project. Some things were done very poorly. Overall it was okay but the crew rushed through the project and did a poor job on many things. I have cracks everywhere in my drywall. His guys cant read a tape measure and our new subfloor was 1/2" higher than the old part of the house. I have a huge bulge in my floor where the addition meets the old house. I paid him the final check and they never came back to finish our list. I was told by other contractors in the area that they wouldnt let him build a dog house. I guess I should have listened. If anyone would like an in depth review, please contact me! I had a custom island with a dishwasher built in, and new countertops installed. Ron was professional and easy to work with when we had a change of construction plans. He also checked in and made sure the job completed and cleaned up on the last day.

Doug was my carpenter (and Luke later on to help) and they were personable guys. Doug was always on time, cleaned up after himself, and he was a great problem solver when it came to a few (un)expected hiccups.

I had no issues keeping in contact with Ron's curtious office staff during office hours. and I would not hesitate to hire them again. I highly recommend them.

Ron has done work at our home and at my wife's business. Ron is an honest man who does very good work. To date he has replaced a roof, built a new porch with an extended roof, rebuilt soffits, installed front and rear doors, and installed a new patio door for us... each job was done for the cost quoted and within the agreed time parameters. When he discovered unexpected challenges in the work, we were notified early and given choices as to the best way to proceed. There were surprises on our project, but they were due to the age of our house and the complexity of our project, not because of our contractor or his team. Ron treated our money and time as if they were his own, and I consider his ethics to be an important part of the quality he brings to the projects he works on.

I am an architect and have worked with many contractors, large and small. Ron has been one of the best that I know of, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who has a project that needs to get done.

Good work. One of the workmen was shady the other older guy was polite and a good worker. Job is done but the communication sucked. I was told they were setting up 3-4 weeks out in the end of June. Told to expect workman July 21st. They didn't get here until the last week of August and finished today Sept. 1st. I wouldn't be mad about the wait but I had important appointments for my son that I canceled in July and in August costing me 170 bucks. Ron seems like an okay guy but some of his staff seem off. The communication was really limited.
