I recently had my roof replaced by rocky mountain roofing, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They arrived on time, explained the entire process clearly, and completed the work quickly without cutting corners. They even found some issues that weren’t initially found and took care of them.
My insurance company wanted to use the cheapest products and no pay for the higher end products that Rocky Mountain wanted to use. Rocky Mountain went to back for me and was able to get my insurance company to change their minds which I thought was going to be impossible.
The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is outstanding. The new roof looks great and has already stood up to some rough weather with no issues at all. Perfect time for monsoon season. The crew that showed up was respectful of my property, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day, and made the entire process as stress-free as possible.
What impressed me most was their honesty and transparency. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work.
If you're looking for a awesome and reliable roofing company that does top-notch I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Roofing you definitely won't be disappointed!
They did a complete roof replacement, tearing off 3 previous roofs and repairing damaged decking, then replacing insulation and a new TPO membrane as well as the fascia and soffits. The work crew was very courteous and hard working. They did a great job.
We are very happy with the results
Rocky Mountain's bid was lower than another bid I received, but the RMRS owner Shiloh Alvarado also just gave me a better feeling of confidence. (I only interviewed 2 roofers, but know someone who hired Shiloh after interviewing at least 6 roofers!) It turned out to be a long, drawn-out process but not because of anything Shiloh did. Because he had taken a core sample of my roof, he knew I had not 1 but 2 tar-and-gravel roofs, whose removal would involve a lot of mess that would be hard to control in winds above 20 mph. And the TPO could only be installed reliably in temperatures of "40 and rising." Add to that early summer rains after a very cold but snow-less winter -- and it took about 6 months to find a weather-appropriate window of at least 5 days to install my roof. It was frustrating, but I never got the idea that it wasn't a priority of Shiloh's to get my new roof installed. He is just very careful about not rushing a job that might be compromised by bad weather conditions. Both he and his foreman, Jaime, were very patient with all of my questions -- and I ask a LOT of questions, especially with 6 months to think about something. My job also involved the unusual task of removing 3 over-sized skylights, involving external framing. That was done in a professional manner by Jaime and his father, and after the whole job was over -- Shiloh helped me find another father-and-son team who do excellent interior framing/taping and bedding/painting to cover those big holes as well as the higher "curbs" resulting from the replacement of 15 other old skylights. Shiloh always responded to concerns I had during the actual process, and then he came back specifically to inspect for anything that didn't meet his standards. That led to a couple of post-job "touch-ups" that I doubt anyone else would have bothered looking for. And during that 6 months of waiting for the right weather -- Jaime was always fast to respond with a patch for any leaks that showed up in my old roof. Flat roofs are one of the challenges of living in New Mexico, as is a very tight labor market of people both competent and available to take on big jobs. I feel very fortunate to have found Shiloh, Jaime and the rest of his team.
