We had a roof leak last fall and after looking around on Nextdoor, I saw that Rock Roofing got a few recommendations; people said that they came out promptly and didn't try and upsell them and that they did great work. So I decided to give them a call and Colt came out and patched our roof at NO CHARGE! It was also at a time that we were dealing with a family crisis and having a leaking roof was the last thing we needed. So, I was blown away at this level of customer service and the peace of mind it provided at that difficult time. Colt left us with bids for a new roof, (which we knew we needed), and kept in touch with us, with no pressure, until we got our financing in place.

Our roof was done in two days, (would have been one but we needed a lot of plywood replaced). We had a new skylight and gutters installed as well. The crew was prompt, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I liked that they provided photos of the roof during the whole process and there were no suprise charges on the final invoice.

I am extremely happy with the service I received. I really appreciated how low pressure they were when inspecting and providing a quote for me. Colt was my main contact, and I was very happy with the communication and honesty of the condition of my roof. I had other quotes provided to me and not only was Rock Roofing much cheaper in price, but Colt did not try to upsell me on things that I didn't need, like the other companies that came out.

I didn't expect that I would use Rock Roofing when I started to look for a roofer, neither did I expect that Rock Roofing was beyond excellence!

We started to experience granule loss on our roof that was installed in late 2005. That roof came with a 30-year warranty, but it didn't survive more than 18 years. I wanted to file a warranty claim, but the manufacturer required me to pull out a shingle as a sample, which I hesitated to do so. I don't know any lay person would be willing to pull out a shingle with some simple instructions. Even most handymen I talked to hesitated to take on such a job.

When I was still figuring out what to do with the roof warranty, a big storm came to accelerate my re-roofing project. We got a leak on the roof, and the water came into our attic, and then our master closet. Yikes!

I realized that I had to re-roof as soon as possible, so I decided to hire a roofer who could help me with the warranty claim. I got some recommendations from my neighbors, colleagues, and friends, and I started to call around. Rock Roofing wasn't on the list of the recommendations. However, because of that big storm, one highly recommended roofer declined to come to give me an estimate as they had got too much work, so they referred me to Rock Roofing.

Colt at Rock Roofing was amazing. When I explained to him what I needed to file a warranty claim, he just volunteered to help without getting my promise to sign the contract. He then went ahead to pull out a shingle for me, and he also tarped the roof to protect my roof from the rain. When he was measuring my roof, he was able to identify the leak and just repaired on that spot.

To be honest, when he told me that he had fixed the leak, I was skeptical. I also had other roofers come to give me estimates, but most of them couldn't even tell what caused the leak, so how could Colt identify the cause and fix easily?! It turned out that he did fix the leak. Before he came, we had a funnel system to direct the water from the roof to a big barrel. We always got lots of rain in the barrel. Since he came, we didn't get any more water in the barrel.

Colt also helped me take many necessary photos for the warranty claim. Because my old roofing contract didn't specify the size of the roof, and the aerial roofing measurement didn't work due to the surrounding tall trees, Colt drew a roof sketch with detailed measurements for me to present to the manufacturer, who accepted the sketch and processed my warranty claim. He even did all these things during his vacation time. I really appreciated his assistances and efforts.

I got total 4 bids for my roof. By comparing the same materials, Rock Roofing's price was the lowest. I normally don't take the lowest bid, because sometimes low bid just means low quality of work or poor customer services. I reviewed the contract closely and asked many questions. Colt was very patient with me, and he responded to my questions quickly. His explanation was very clear and easy to understand. Later I came to Yelp and realized that Colt had been highly praised in many reviews. Therefore, I decided to move forward with Rock Roofing.

During the roofing process, the workers arrived on time and cleaned up after work. The work was completed on schedule. The next day after the work complete, one Rock Roofing staff came to do a thorough clean up, including the moss on my driveway. Colt came to walk me through the work to make sure that I was satisfied with every detail, and he also explained to me how the roofing system worked.

I am very happy with Rock Roofing and Colt's exceptional services. I would highly recommend Rock Roofing if you need any roofing services.

Rob Shouse at Rock Roofing is absolutely amazing representative for Rock roofing, he showed up promptly to look at our property with samples on hand, we requested a quote to replace our 22 years cedar wood roof, and gutters, the quote was comparable to others but slightly higher than others but worth paying every single dollar extra.
We have told Rob that we will be leaving on a long vacation and the roof can be replaced before or after we come back

Our roof was replaced promptly before we left as he brought about 12 guys to hammer at it for 4 days

Along with the roof, we also had installed several sun tunnels. Julio took his time and did the work with a lot of care and attention to detail. When he finished there was no dust, no debris indoors, it was like he wasn't even here, just more light because of the tunnels.

Colt was fantastic to work with - always available, never pushy, and answered our endless list of questions with patience. No one ever tried to upsell us or push us into "upgrading" to something we didn't need. Once things got under way, the crew did a fantastic job, clearly communicating what was to be done and when. There were no surprises and clean up was great. The new roof is beautiful and all of the problems with the previous one have been fixed. I highly recommend Rock Roofing. Every part of their workmanship is top notch and better than others I've seen. Not only with the shingles but everything else is done right too including the tear off and preparation, the underlayments, the flashings, the ventilation, etc. They don't take short cuts and use quality materials. My brother found them after using another roofer on his previous home. When it was time for me to re-roof my home I checked with several roofers, and Rock Roofing was the most thorough in their estimate. My brother also highly recommended them, so I had them re-roof my home and I am so glad I did.

Reading all the previous reviews, I can’t think of much else to add. The last company we had did such a lousy job that we had to have a total replacement about 10 years before we should have. Colt and his crew are amazing! We were out of town the entire time- from bid to completion. Colt made sure he kept us informed, sent us updated photos when needed and answered my calls promptly when I had questions. I am so grateful and know we made the right choice! Our roof was damaged by a tree branch, we had someone came and put a tarp on the roof. After that, we were trying to get bid to fix the roof. Colt came and checked the roof condition, he not only gave us a bid for fixing the damage, but also pointed out that we will need to replace the roof in couple years, so, we might consider replace the whole roof. We decided to replace the whole roof. Colt gave us several bids for different type of materials, and followed up couple times to answer any questions we might have, as we were just waiting for the raining season to be over. His price is compatible with the quote from others, and we really appreciate his patience. The only reason we decided to go with another company is that the other company gave us a discount for repeating customer, as the company did the roof for us couple years ago for another house, otherwise, I have no doubt we'd pick Rock roofing to do the project.

Sustained significant wind damage in Dec 27 storm, requiring a compete reroof. Rock Roofing got to the job faster than I expected and the job went great. From guidance on products to removal/install/cleanup, professionally done from start to finish. Check with Colt from Rock Roofing if you need roof work!

These guys were great workers. Showed up early on Tuesday morning and worked until after 8 PM. They came back the next day to finish and cleaned up. Will use them again if needed.

They were hard workers and did a good roofing job.
The main issue that I had was trying to get them too clean debree behind the gutters where old tore off roofing gets wedged, I told 2 different workers and the sales rep. that the gutters need to be pulled away from the house far enough to let the degree fall out.
They came back and just wedged a stick under the bottom of the gutter and tipped it out slightly which dosent get all the debree out.
After the 3rd attempt to get them to do it properly, I told them that it still doesn't get all the debree out, the whole gutter needs to be pulled away at least a quarter inch to clear all debree and then hammer all the gutter nails back in, which the few nails already sticking out from the drooping weight were not nailed back in. I'll have to do it myself to finish the job properly. This should be a standard procedure when tearing a roof off.

We worked with Colt and the crew at ROCK roofing to replace an old, not super well-done roof on our home. From the get-go we liked Colt's style. Not only was he super easy to contact, and came by the house super quickly, but it never felt like he was pushing product on us, he was just helping us understand our options. His knowledge of all things roofs was super obvious too, as he stood in the front yard and pointed out different types of materials and styles in our neighborhood.
Colt was able to get us a quote very quickly, and came in at almost half of what the other big companies had quoted us. Not only that, but unlike the other guys who were offended when we said we wanted multiple quotes, Colt encouraged us to get at least 3.
The process for picking our materials and color, and reserving our spot in line was seamless, and they were able to get to us quicker than I expected. We ended up being out of town when it came out turn, but it didn't seem to matter,. The crew got everything done without us, Colt was super communicative the whole time, and we came home to a gorgeous new roof, gutters, and a clean yard!
I cannot recommend ROCK roofing enough. They didn't just replace our roof, but they made sure every last piece looked great, from the trim and flashing to the vent system. Not to mention how speedy, respectful of the property, and tidy they were.

Great experience working with them and very competitive pricing. They always showed up on the promised time with a very professional crew.

These guys are 25-30% cheaper than a couple other local big name roofers. They didn’t request any payment until the job was completed which is rare in construction. The final invoice was at the estimate, so they didn’t price hike mid-construction like many companies do. They are also a Certainteed certified installer so the Certainteed 5 Star warranty can be purchased separately for just a few hundred extra. This covers complete roof replacement by the shingle manufacturer even if the roofer goes out of business. Certainteed has been in business for 118 years and are rated among the top quality makers of shingles. This was important to me because Jorve did my last roof only 18 years ago. At the time they promised me a 30 year warranty but went out of business and now I’m footing the bill 12 years short of that.

Be aware these guys are good at what they do and are very busy. They will get the information you want and fit you in their schedule but you’ll need to exercise a little patience. If you’re one of those needy, “The world revolves around me,” personalities you should probably go with one of the higher priced companies that will be at your beck and call. But if you’re realistic about scheduling and other people’s priorities and want the best roof for the money this company is the real deal.

Rock Roofing came recommended after I had a roof leak during the Fall downpours that required immediate attention (it was raining inside my staircase!). The other companies I called didn't have the capacity come out to do a simple leak repair (or didn't call me back), but one recommended I reach out to Colt at Rock Roofing to see if he could help. I'm so glad they did.

Colt came out that same day and patched the leak at no charge, which gave me time to get additional bids for a full roof replacement (already on my 'to do' list but I thought I had a little more time than I did). His bid was extremely competitive, he followed up well, and was the one I ultimately chose. They finished 2 weeks ago and I am very satisfied with the result... it looks beautiful. The crew was professional, was in and out in 2 days and cleaned up well after themselves.

I have chimney work that now needs to be done and the seasoned mason was up on the roof yesterday and said he's been on a lot of roofs over the decades and was very impressed by the quality of work they did.

Rock Roofing reshingled our home and replaced the gutters in early February 2022. I was impressed with RR's professionalism, promptness in scheduling, price, and clean up.

The crew was incredibly hard working and efficient, and so the roof was installed in about 1-1/2 days. The gutters were installed a few days later in about four hours. The house looks much better for their efforts.

Both crews took special care to clean up afterwards (for example, they used a magnet to collect nails and staples all around the property) which I greatly appreciated.

I thought the product was exceptional value for the price.

Rock Roofing was a referral from a friend with a similar experience. I thought I needed a much larger repair, due to water leaking into my attic. Colt repaired it on the spot and wouldn't take any money. He told me my roof will last another 8+years and not to worry about the moss on the north side because of my shingle type. I'm going to post several positive reviews, so its easy to find Rock roofing in 8 years when I need my roof replaced.

Overall a great job, quality work, best estimate, and no down payment! Father/Son team did an excellent job, 2 days and done. There was a small cosmetic issue, but it was quickly resolved by Colt.

Was blessed to have Rock Roofing replace my flat top roof. The worked was completed in a very timely manner and while I may not venture onto of my building very often I know the work done was phenomenal. Both Scott and Colt were extremely professional and were extremely communicative throughout the process. Don't hesitate to use Rock Roofing for any repairs or replacement in the roofing department.

Difficult to get through to anyone. Then after making an appointment (and staying home all morning) they just never showed up. No call or anything else.
I have no idea what kind of work they do but I wouldn't want to spend many thousands of dollars with a co. with such disregard for its customers.

Scott was outstanding to work with. About three years ago we paid a great price to have two layers of old shingles removed, replace soome rotted sheathing, re-shingle, remove torch down gutters and replace with aluminum cup-style gutters. Then just last week, a small area needed fixing near my front porch. Called Scott and sent a guy out the next day. Repaired the minor leak in 10 minutes and did it all at no charge. I'm a home inspector that works in the same general area as Rock Roofing, and I have seen many roofs installed by them. It has gotten to the point where when I see an exceptional roof installation, I assume it must have been them, and I'm usually right!

I had these guys do some roof repairs that over the last twenty years no roofer has figured out how to resolve. They realized the problem was not in the roof but in the window seals that were allowing water to drain in and down onto the flat roof below. This is all fixed along with some other repairs. I was nervous with the Biblical rains we had a few weeks ago but not a drop got in. They are professional, work late if needed and took photos to show me what was done. They cleaned up at the end of the day and their pricing was fair .They really know their stuff. Highly recommended for any of your roofing needs.

Rock Roofing replaced my roof and gutters. From sales through the actual work, this was the best experience I could hope for. Not a high pressure sales pitch. A good price compared to two other bids. The roofing crew did tear off and replace in about 8 hours. The gutters crew came by a few days later and put in the new gutters late in the afternoon.

Above and Beyond! From start to finish Eugene and crew were exceptional. When I called on New Years Eve I wasn't expecting a return call for a couple days, Eugene called back within a couple hours and agreed to come out at MY earliest convenience. They did our neighbors house and we realized we needed ours done soon so asked for a quote. They got back to us quickly and we're very helpful. A few months of procrastinating and we remembered we still needed to look into the roof situation. So we called a few other places to get estimates and we're rather surprised by the numbers! All were much more expensive. We called back RRR and made an appointment to meet. They came out and went over the project and details and we're able to fit us in the schedule in less than a month (about the same time frame as the other companies). The owner was helpful, professional, and seemed like a great person.

I had numerous roofing companies come and give me bids over the last few months. I chose Rock Roofing and am VERY HAPPY with the Job. My Roof is fairly large.. 36 squares I believe. They got the job done in 2 days and had gutters replaced a day after completion. They made sure to clean up- Which was very important as I have young children and pets.. I called Scott with one of those annoying. "How much will this cost?" questions. Not only did he answer me but he also took the time to educate me on the factors which influence cost; and gave me the variability I could expect in the cost he gave.

Needless to say that when I decide to reroof I will be giving Scott a call! Incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

Scott is very professional and reliable. We had some leak concerns around two skylights and scheduled an inspection on Saturday. He came early climbed up to the roof top and checked every part of the roof. He spent almost an hour and inspected very thoroughly inside out. At last he suggested us not to waste money on a not existing problem and did not charge any fees. Highly recommended!
