We had a fantastic experience working on our basement remodel with Andrey, Aleksey, Nick, Roman, Danny, Vlad, and the whole team at Home Care Contractors! This was a major project, involving a total demolition and rebuild of the lower level of our home (~1,000 sqft) to add two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room, a hallway, and a storage room. Andrey led us through the whole process, working closely with us and helping inform us on all the decisions we had to make and to stay within our budget while fulfilling our vision. We were amazed by how effectively the whole team worked together, doing high-quality work at an efficient pace. They were easy to talk to and always happy to answer any questions, even modifying some of our plan on the fly as opportunities presented themselves. There were some legitimate challenges--like moving our stairs to create more headroom and leveling a very non-level basement floor--but the team came up with great, cost-effective solutions. We're so happy with the remodel and would recommend Andrey and Home Care Contractors to anyone! Thank you HCC for all your hard work.

I contracted with HCC to help me resolve a leaky toilet, redo the tile in that bathroom, and to help me resolve a squeaky floor problem on my second story. The sub-contractors that performed the plumbing and tile did great work, but the GC from HCC did a very poor job overall.

There were a number of communication issues about the scope of the work. My interpretation of the plan was to repair the toilet and all of the damage that the leak had caused, but HCC seemed to think that all of the drywall damage to the ceiling below was out of scope. Additionally, Vitally, the HCC contractor, seemed to not be very knowledgeable about construction or how homes are built, leading to confusion with the subcontractors. The subs in general seemed very unimpressed with Vitally.

HCC cheaped out on a number of things that really degraded the quality of the work. Instead of hiring a professional dry-waller to handle the finish work, Vitally decided he would do the work himself. He purchased the cheapest wall-repair kit from home-depot and preceded to make a giant mess. I ended up completely redoing his drywall work. I attached a picture of what HCC considers to be "finished" so you are aware of what youll be left with.

HCC also was completely incorrect about the cause of my squeaky floor. They charged me $400 to fix the 'cosmetic damages', but within a few weeks their work was falling apart. I again worked with a separate company to repair this.

During the work, my toilet lid was damaged. A large chip came off the side. I informed Vitally, and he ordered me the absolute cheapest replacement he could find. It arrived completely warped, so much so that I ended up throwing the replacement away and getting my own.

Overall I would not hire HCC again for any projects. HCC has good subcontractors, but does not contribute much themselves. GCs are supposed to help you manage projects and remove stress from remodels, but HCC only added a significant amount of work and wasted so much of my time.

We truly had a wonderful experience remodeling our kitchen with Homecare! Renovations are hard to live through and there are so many decisions to make but with Homecare we were able to take it step by step and have our vision come to life. From the initial consult, to design decisions, to construction and to the final product we felt as though we were being well taken care of and listened to. We love our new kitchen and would definitely recommend and use Homecare again for future projects!

HCC did a wonderful job repairing our second floor porch/deck walls which had some wood rot. Sergey, a joy to work with, followed up in timely manner to keep us informed throughout the entire project. Great workmanship, methodical and precise. Would recommend and will probably be a repeat customer in the future. They were able to point out some common wood rot areas to keep an eye on around the exterior of the house as well. Nice touch.

Home Care Contractors repaired and replaced rotted foundation sills and floor joists on primarily the back end of my house (beneath the laundry room extension), as well as other sills on my foundation. They fixed plumbing issues with the faucet and piping attached to the washing machine drain line, as well as drywall and flooring for the laundry room that brought the floor level down to a standardized height. Sergey was quick to respond to my initial inquiry, and did a diligent examination of the foundation issues to determine the best course of action, as it was impossible to repair the foundation sill and joists from the crawl space. He prepared a thorough quote and proposal within a day. The crew was readily available within days, and they were able to completely remove and replace the laundry room, as well as redo the plumbing and siding, within less than a week. The quality of work was fantastic and the crew were all very efficient and skilled. Given the complexity of the issues, the pricing was reasonable, and they allowed multiple payment options. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of general contracting.

After getting bids from nearly a dozen contractors, their estimate came back more than DOUBLE of the 2nd highest bid, I wouldn't normally leave review of a business I have no intend to hire but what are you guys thinking? $3000 labor to lay down 3 pieces of tiles we provide? They also forget to quote a entire 2nd project. What a waste of time.

We reached out to Home Care Contractors for a master bathroom remodel project. Their price was higher between the 2 proposals that we got but we choose Home Care Contractors for it's location being closer to us. Mark was the project manager who worked with us, and the overall experience was good. Mark and other the team members are easy to work with. They are responsive, listen to our needs and always punctual on the appointments time. We are satisfied with the final result. In addition to that, there was a minor issue one month after the project being finished (not construction related, mostly just the nature of the gravity), and Mark sent someone right away to help on fixing the issue.

The HCC team re-tiled our shower walls, added a niche, and installed new fixtures for our bathroom. We were very lucky to work with Vitaliy and his team, Joe and Vlad. Mold was discovered during demo, and they were able to fix it quickly with minimal additional work. The installed niche is exactly what we wanted and we're so happy to have the addition. There was a version of this review where we gave this project 3/5 stars. We had a couple of snafus, but the HCC team worked diligently to correct issues that we brought up. We want to give a special shout out to our PM Vitaliy, who listened to our concerns and always made the time for in-person visits. The team was very responsive and prioritized our concerns. We felt heard and the end result is beautiful.

I used Vitaliy and his team to do my master bathroom remodel. We had a small flood issue and decided to redo most of the bathroom, including all the tile (3 different kinds), both sinks, the toilet and the tub fixture. Vitaliy was very responsive throughout the process, always promptly answering our endless questions through text, email and over the phone. Once the work started it was done in roughly the promised amount of time, totaling 4 full days plus an extra couple hours near the end for the plumbing and some finishing touches. A couple minor issues came up in the middle of the job, but they were always explained to us and handled quickly. Overall, I'm very happy with both the experience and the end result, you can see the finished job in the first two pictures below, the one with the missing tile around the tub is the "before" picture. I would definitely hire them again for similar work in the future!

We hired HCH for our Bathroom Remodel Project. We interviewed a number of different entities for the project, ranging from ones that had specific expertise in one aspect of the project to general contractors such as HCH. Our final assessement was the project manager for HCH, Vitaliy, and therefore HCH, would be the best PM for our project. Upfront he showed attention to the details of our project that others had lacked. We had most of our design already, but he came up with little details that improved ours. He was also very clear on separating the tasks and costs of each so that we could make clear choices as to what we wanted and what we could do without. During the remodeling itself, Vitaliy's communication skills were excellent. We exchanged countless text messages and he was always quick to return with a clear and quick reply. How many construction PMs can you say that for? Even when the remodeling turned up something unexpected (it is remodeling after all), Vitaliy was always easy to find, clear and pleasant in his communications. In the end, we were very pleased with the work quality of the HCH crew and the professionalism of the Project Manager. Good work!

HCC were great to work with. We're very happy with both the quality of their work and the speed of progress.

Our project had a lot of uncertainty (active leak and rot repair) but Sergey set very clear expectations and continued to communicate well throughout the process. HCC did everything they said they would, and I could tell they hold themselves to a very high standard. We're especially thankful for Vova, who worked incredibly hard to make sure the project was finished within our tight timeline.

We had an absolutely amazing time working with HCC to rebuild our rotting deck.

Mark handled our estimate and managed the project, and he did an excellent job explaining the options and pros and cons of each. He was also willing to prepare multiple quotes so we could decide which direction we wanted to go. Throughout construction, he was extremely responsive and communicative, and wanted to make sure we were getting exactly what we expected.

Darik performed the bulk of the demolition and construction on his own and did a fantastic job! We feel much safer now because of his work, and he also came up with creative and functional solutions to some design challenges we had, like adding a small door to leave us access under the deck while still blocking the area off so our dogs and other wildlife can't get into mischief.

Overall a great experience, and we'll definitely be return customers with future projects.

Check in each time he was here, let us know what he was planning on doing and how long he would be here. He let us know if there would be any excessive noise. Vitaliy Gorokhovskiy was our account manager for this project. Right from the first request for a quote, he was very helpful, responsive and delivered everything on time. We asked for 3 quotes with varied flooring model to deliver to our insurance, no problem it was right there. We asked to negotiate based on the amount we got from insurance, he found a way to make it happen. He is thoughtful, responsive, on time for every appointment, no fuss, gets the job done on time. The repair was ready to go the same day we picked the flooring. The project was done on time as promised. The quality of the work is determined when you see it after it is done and you don't easily notice any visible issues. All the furniture, stove, fridge were put back to where they were before, so cleanup was also superb.

We had a major crisis and I called Vitalliy to help. It was a few weeks before the holiday and our bathtub cracked and was leaking into the crawlspace. The worst part was we only have one bathroom! Vitalliy worked with our insurance company and did a great job negotiating a payout. Vittaliy brought in Roman who is a sub-contractor to do most of the work on the bathroom and now our bathroom is better than it ever was before. The tile work is GORGEOUS. The floor, baseboards, seals, and everything are beautiful. There was not one single thing I needed to have them come back to fix or change. Vittaliy and Roman were very fast and responsive. Please do not even think twice about using them for your home project.... they will be respectful, fair, and efficient!

I had a small space that I wanted to add a bathroom and kitchenette in. The quote wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. But the reason I picked them was because I was impressed with the professionalism right from the get go. My main contact, Erik Brutski was AMAZING! He answered all my questions or requests I had through the project in a very timely manor and got the subs scheduled so quickly I was blown away. They worked within my budget perfectly as well. Every sub arrived right on time, and the one time one was going to run late, Erik let me know right away. All the subs did a great job on dealing with the tiny space and all the plumbing and electrical that needed to get squeezed in there, and the puzzle of a drywall installation. Finding a contractor can be a very scary experience and I'm so happy I went with Home Care Contractors. I highly recommend Erik, and will use them for any future jobs.

David, Roman, and the team at HCC is everything you want in a group of contractors. We used them for a full kitchen and bathroom remodel as well as some other tile, drywall, and electrical work around our home. They were able to start our project early and made it as easy as we could have hoped for. This company does it all from demo to electrical, plumbing, and everything else in between to get you a completed project. They all do beautiful work and make sure you are satisfied with your results throughout the process.

We just finished up our primary bedroom and bathroom remodel with Vitaily as our project manager, and we're so happy we used HCC. Roman did a lot of the work, and he's both talented and fast. They worked with us on changes on the fly, provided copies of all receipts, and stayed in constant contact with us when we had questions. We used Home Care Contractors for replacing the siding on the south side of our house. Vitaliy was very responsive and the project was on budget, on time, and well done. They explained all steps and repaired some uncovered water damage. Overall very happy with their work and will use them again.

Vitaliy maintained good communication about work and bills. The basement needed a ceiling. Scheduling was a breeze and only a few days were needed for the in-person work. I had some clean up to do afterwards and now there a bright new ceiling with paint!

His quote was right in the middle of the others we received, but the quality of work seemed more in line with the top end quotes. Ben’s team of Yuri, Vlad, and a few others were kind and professional. They listened to all of our thoughts and concerns, and made tweaks as desired. In all, the remodel took 7 weeks, and it turned out beautifully. Especially given supply chain issues and soaring prices, the fact that Ben completed the project in a reasonable timeframe and within budget was honestly quite impressive. We were expecting a new baby shortly after completion, so we appreciate Ben and his team being cognizant of our needs and doing an excellent job. Thank you!

We used Home Care to rebuild our backyard deck. Paul L was our contact and builder and he and all his crew were terrific. They worked closely with us to agree on a design, pick out products, and manage the schedule. They were especially careful of our dogs who usually see the yard as their own domain and the workers made sure that the dogs stayed safe. They worked in typical Seattle weather - rain - and came back once it became sunny to finish the touch up painting and other small fixes. They were friendly, cleaned up the yard, and seemed to enjoy their work. We would hire them again if we needed more construction.

They repaired the part of the roof that covers my front porch. It was tilted in a way that all water from the roof collected in my yard instead of going through the rain gutter and sewage. The repair is excellent and all water is now going through the rain gutter. Happy customer here! Thank you!

I was referred to HomeCare Contractors by a coworker of mine who had hired them to renovate her bathrooms a few years ago. I unfortunately came back from a vacation to a cracked shower pan in November of 2021, and due to the way the shower was made, it would be a whole replacement instead of just a small repair to ensure it wouldnt leak in the walls and subflooring of my house. Dennis worked with me and walked me through everything I needed to do. I was able to pick out a beautiful tile and get my master bathroom fixed in no time. Other contractors had quoted me 15-25k$ and the work wouldn't start until May or June 2022, but Dennis made my project work for the budget scope that I had, and it was completed in Jan 2022 in about a week! I could not be happier with how it all turned out! We were able to open up the bathroom by removing an unnecessary wall, and the shower looks beautiful, bright and open. I've never been so excited to take a shower before in my life! 100% I would recommend these guys for a home project in the future. They were quick, efficient, and professional. And the quality of work is beyond exquisite. Thank you so much!!!

I worked with HCC recently and I am more than happy with the outcome. We started working with Erik for a fire place remodeling and he was very prompt to give lots of options. However before that we had a half built deck. This was worked by another contracted who left in between and did a poor job. Erik was quick enough to provide a quote and started the work in next week. We were not at home when the work was done but we did not need to any micro manage for the team. The deck was built with in a week. I really loved the way Erik and his team helped us complete the project. I look forward to work on many more projects with hcc.

They came in for a job to replace a warped beam on my balcony. Paul L. was very responsive the whole time with me. Kept me up to date on the status of the job and the job was done on time just like they said. The workmanship was great. After they were done, the site was clean and everything was great. We needed to completely rebuild some rotted decks and working with Home Care Contractors was an overall easy experience. Our Project Manager Paul Y. was prompt in coming out to give a quote and was able to get the project set up quickly. He was responsive and checked in frequently to see how things were going from our perspective as well giving us updates from the contractors. The decks look and feel great! Will definitely consider them for any improvements in the future!

These folks replaced our deck with timber tech . Paul was extremely professional . Very punctual and quickly gave us an accurate quote and timeline.

We asked Home Care to help us install a dividing wall. It was a modestly sized project but very badly needed. We had contacted other contractors and they tried to upsize the project, were outrageously priced, and seemed to want to talk us out of it. When Vitalliy and Vadeem came to give us a quote, they were respectful and supportive. They understood what we wanted and also have great suggestions and insight. They said it would be a 3 day project but they were done in 2 days... they stayed on quote. Vadeem and Vitalliy were wonderful and I can't wait to work with them on our next project. Our "new house" looks awesome!

We had a great experience with HCC. Our project included numerous things like installing new gutters, repairing some foundation, installing exterior doors, installing exterior siding and leveling our deck. They came with a professional crew on time and ready to work. The work that they do is really high quality. They were also quick! Home Care Contractors redid our deck and did a very high-quality job. They found several structural issues with the old deck and did an amazing job fixing everything, putting in new beautiful bamboo flooring and repainting. My home deck was leaking inside the living room and the deck floor was completely rotten. Paul Yakovlev and his team replaced the deck floor, the sidewalls, painted and waterproofed. They went a step ahead and installed the ventilation to avoid the fungus that destroys the wood from inside. So the wood will stay longer. The work finished is world class, I strongly recommend this team. The team was very friendly and very clean in their work.

Home Care Contractors replaced damaged wood below an exterior door from carpenter ants and wood rot extending into crawlspace. Paul Y responded promptly to inquiry and project was completed within two days of contact. Streamlined process and damaged area of home restored to better than original. Scope of work was explained in detail and finished professionally.

Great experience having my back deck tuned up with sanding, deckover, and stain to have it looking terrific again. I appreciated Paul Y coordination and Matt doing a great job on completing the project.

2019: Vadim and his team came out to do a couple of small sheetrock and texturing repairs in our house following concern that we had acquired termites. They were so nice and considerate in their work. They put covers down on the floor and over the furniture and were very prompt in arriving when they said they were going to. They were also very patient in coordinating their work with the exterminator, since he had to spray between opening the wall and repairing the sheetrock. This was a very small job, well below the scale of their usual projects, but they didn't treat it as any less important. I greatly appreciated their willingness to fix my walls and ceiling and would highly recommend them for any future work!
2022 follow-up:
I reached out to home care contractors again for garage remodel and wall heat unit removal and patching. I worked with Paul this time and my opinion of the company held - great communication and craftsmanship! Paul was so understanding and flexible with our requests and did really nice work in his demo of a room to return it back to a garage with a functioning garage door. He organized every aspect of the work and communicated all details with me clearly. It is really a pleasure working with a company that excels in both customer service and quality work!
