What people say about “RJS Construction”?

Customer feedback is largely negative, highlighting concerns about safety and professionalism. Multiple reviews express distrust in the company's practices, with accusations of using inferior products while pricing themselves as premium. Additionally, there are serious complaints about the behavior of drivers on the road, including dangerous driving and littering, raising significant concerns about the company's standards for its employees. While there is one positive review praising the assistance provided during a breakdown, it does not outweigh the majority of negative sentiments regarding overall service and accountability.

This is one of your sketchy “chuck in the trucks”, “Dan in the van”, or fly by knights.
They’re using cheap products, but copying prices of the other elite contractors in the market.
Any company who needs to copy other bids because they don’t know what they’re worth or what their products are valued at, is a company I would NEVER trust!
0/5 stars if I could!

On March 28th 2024, one of your vehicles with Washington Plates # 088108C was driving near Sturgis SD around 9:15 PM on I-90 westbound. They threw a still lit cigarette out the window in a area struggling with drought. The cigarette was obvious due to it being dark and the still hot ash glowed when it hit the road. This is not a minor act and could have resulted in a fire very easily. I would expect better from a company in Washington where you no doubt understand the devastation a wild fire can cause.

Broke down Thursday, Oct 13th out by Biggs Junction in Oregon. Tom Frederick stopped by to see if I was ok, then drove me to the truckstop and back, TWICE, for needed parts, then stuck around to make sure I got going again. Good people.

I am not sure about the rest of the business but a driver that was driving through Davenport,WA heading toward Spokane, Wa tailgated me for most of the time from Davenport past Reardan then finally passed me. That is fine with me, until you come back into our lane within 2 car lengths and spray my new truck with centerline gravel. There was also an oncoming car so that is the reason to cut back so soon. I was going 5 over the speed limit when this driver passed me. When your driving a company vehicle, drive respectfully or get a bad post. You are representing your company. This happened on April 9th 2020 at approximately 6:50 pm.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
