Josh with River City Roofing is great! When my neighbor damaged my roof with a tree removal, Josh was able to come over quickly to assess the damage and provided an estimate same day. Josh even applied a temporary patch to my roof with no charge until they could fit me in for a proper repair. Josh was very patient in coordinating with the tree company who was liable for the repair, and was able to schedule me in between their bigger projects. Highly recommend!

Josh at River city roofing saved my ass. I had a huge damage from a tree falling on my house got the runaround from other roofers and the insurance company. Eventually I found River city and they took care of EVERYTHING.

Much more damage is found underneath another $9000 is required. They went to the insurance company and got it. I didn’t have to do any paperwork. And then they did an excellent job repairing my roof and getting me all new gutters in the insurance claim. I can’t say enough good about these guys.

Seriously so professional, considerate and quick. We had our whole roof done, changed up venting with a ridge vent, and it took them around 3 days, in Oregon early springtime. They made sure to work with my neighbors too on clean up of debris went into their yards - loved the whole crew. We had a leak, so they identified it and recommended Mt Hood Restoration on my insulation / attic work. They worked together on schedule for me and made the whole ordeal much easier.

Its refreshing to find a company (referred to by my relator) that exceeds your expectations without a personal interaction. My experience with River City Roofing has been impressive to say the least. A little background on this....I rarely, if ever, write reviews. I simply don't have the time to give an opinion but I feel like my story should be shared. I purchased a house and received a bid to repair and replace the roof that was 18 years old with water damage and mold. 1) my neighbors were upset that they had their roofs replaced last year for 14K more than what River City was able to do for me (50 yr warranty on product and 10 yrs on labor). 2) Repair and replacement was done in 24 hrs....even with rain. 3) the roof was brought up to code with extras. 4) when the mold treatment company was brought out for their services it was found that vents were never connected to flow outside (a previous issue with this house). At no fault of their own Tim sent his guys not once...but twice to make sure moisture wouldn't creep back into the attic by adding stem vents after the job was done. I'm pleased that my investment was treated with over the top professionalism and promptness. I'm also pleased that my wife is very happy with the results and I never once had to be on site for anything. River City Roofing has brought the "handshake agreement" back to business in todays digital age of communication. Forever grateful. Thank you TIm.

i want to share with everyone my experience with River City Roofing. This company was exceptional in all areas from communication, assistance and construction on my roof. I had a hail storm go through my town and destroy my roof. We were devastated! I had a flier from this company on my door by evening of the storm and gave them a call. Morgan from River City answered my call and said first thing in the morning he would be out. He was an exception person to work with. He was in great timing with scheduling and getting a crew out the next day! He also assisted me with the insurance company when they were not wanting to help me. Ashley in the office was also very kind and amazing too. Assisted me at times in need , very prompt also. The two employees work well together assisting me. Now the crew team that was sent out to us to do the work were exceptionally courteous! Job was done in amazing time and they had cleaned up everything like they never were there! The whole experience was suburb. This company I highly recommend doing your roof work. The company to worries out of this devastation for us. Josh was absolutely amazing who works for River city Roofing. Anytime you get your roof replaced it’s very stressful, but he coordinated everything perfectly and anytime I had a question he was right there to answer. It are used partially my homeowners and the process was extremely frustrating, but they help me work through it and they were very patient and were able to coordinate, waiting on homeowners insurance. I would recommend this company because they did such a great job And they offer a 10 year warranty on their workmanship, which is very rare.

River City Roofing exceeded all of our expectations! Stacy and Josh are professional, experienced, accomplished and completely trustworthy. They made a thorough inspection of our roof and let us know the entire scope and cost of the project - unlike other companies that provided us estimates with the caveat that the cost could increase as they proceeded. As project manager, Josh kept us informed and made sure the crew knew the “ins and outs “ of the project. He gave us a timeline and the job was completed within that time frame. Josh inspected the project regularly, provided paperwork and answered all of our questions. The crew was experienced, worked hard and were great to have around. Quality material was used and the cleanup was efficient. This is an amazing company and I highly recommend them.

River City is outstanding. We recently had an emergency situation with our roof. An unlicensed contractor and torn it apart and disappeared. I called River City and spoke with Devan and she jumped right on the job. With a major storm coming in, River City came right out and tarped our roof and worked in the pouring rain until 9pm. They came out first thing the next day and further evaluated and repaired our roof in the pouring rain. They moved other jobs around and now we are a priority. Based on their excellent customer service, we've confidently hired them to do our roof.

Steve Boger was my roofing contractor after a tree fell on my home January 13, 2024. Many trees fell in my neighborhood and Steve knocked on my door to inquire about my roof. He was immediately invested in my best interest. Initially I was taken aback by his level interest in my project. I thought he might be an “ambulance chaser”. Lol But he turned out to be heaven sent!!! Steve, on a number of occasions spoke to my Allstate adjusters to advicate on my behalf. He made sure that not only my roof was made whole again he covered the repairs to my gutters and fence also! My home is whole, my mental health is whole again and all I need to consider is the whole in my front yard left after the tree was removed. Really wonderful service! Josh and team were troopers with our super steep and hard to access roof. Josh was super communicative throughout the whole process and really easy to work with. The team that came out to do the work on our roof was efficient, fast, respectful, and friendly. They started on time and the project ended on time, too. My girlfriend had someone to come check a leak in her roof and was told no repair was possible and she needed a new roof, desperately. The person only inspected the attic. I found RCR online and asked her to call them for a second option. James came by same day, inspected the roof and the attic, and informed her there was a couple small fixable holes on the roof and repaired them on the spot. Also that she has 7+ years left in her current roof. Not only did this save a tremendous amount of money but stress as well. RCR will get many referrals from me in the future!!!

In the 2021 ice storm we suffered devastating loss from a tree on our 1904 home. Our insurance company tried to dismiss much of the damage and that is when River City Roofing stepped in and held them accountable to restore our craftsman back to its glory. Beautiful repair of our porch and rafters, plus extensive roof damage. Hands down easiest and best contractor and repair we have ever dealt with. The work was done perfect, no corner cutting, and got the insurance company to pay as required. Thank you!

These guys did a great job. They got us in the pipeline quickly, and finished the job before the weekend. One thing I noticed that they did much better than some other roofing companies, is that they are clean. They left no trash and cleaned up at the end of every day. I am very happy with their service.

My wife and I just bought an historical house and it needed gutters bad ! Well because there wasn't gutters at all and we were worried that if we did so it would take away from the overall look of the house ! This was not the case infact the crew of two mind you was to guys that came on a Sunday the crew leader showed that he really cared and the professionalism was seriously topnotch . They arrived at 9 and had the job done before noon! Seriously my wife and I were blown away by how amazingly the gutters seemed to disappear with the trim just what we were looking for. The owner is certainly willing to give direction and the constant communication between him and I was always appreciative. Long story because I could talk these guys up all day long ! I will honestly never go with anyone else when it comes to gutters and the worry of the outcome was totally worth it. Seriously would recommend to anyone I know. "BEST IN THE WEST " Is what I say hands down so happy ! Most importantly my wife is happy and we all know what that means ! We engaged Josh and River City (RC) for our roof that urgently needed replacement. Given the circumstances, we didn't have time to shop around. However, I did use a pricing model to 'check the horse' so to speak. River City will most likely not be your cheapest option, but they were well within what would be considered a reasonable price range based on my modelling. I indicated the same to Josh, but also that I would very likely had chosen them regardless had I decided to delay the decision.
I'm early on in this review, so likely this will duplicate. However, since I run a condo association elsewhere, I have dealt with several roofers and replaced 7 roofs over the years. I'm no true expert, but know more than I'd want to about roofs, materials and dealing with contractors.
Josh and RC, were soup to nuts top of the line. From the beginning to the end, they went out of their way and were far more responsive than most of the roofers I've dealt with. Clearly, wanting our business was a driver, but after the contract was signed to the finish, they could not have made themselves (including the back office) more available to address any of my questions or concerns.
Time will tell regarding the quality of their work and responsiveness to any, hopefully limited, warranty work. However, they performed what appears to be an amazing job, were very careful to be respective of the communities rules as well as our neighbors.
They went out of their way to commit to providing us top notch service and clean up after they were done to make it like they were never there.
I could not more highly recommend, nor speak for Josh and River City. They are worth your consideration and will likely win your business as well.
