Right On Roofing - Kahului, HI

From my first contact with Dave, the owner of Right On Roofing, he was responsive and professional. Each question I had for him was answered quickly via text, or when needed, via email. While his correspondence and quote were less formal than the larger companies, he did what he said he was going to do. He gave me a list of references and I talked to three of them. Two had used him twice and all three were extremely favorable. His pricing was excellent compared to others I asked for quotes. This is mainly because he is a small, mostly one-man shop and I paid for the materials separately (which meant that he did not add on an additional profit margin). He does have a couple of helpers, but he does the majority of work on his own. This results in him taking a bit longer, but I was okay with the job taking about 7-8 days instead of 4 or so quoted by the larger companies. He arrived at 6:30-7:00 each morning and left at about 4:30. When he left, all the debris from the work he was doing was cleaned up. (I was super impressed by this). He worked Monday through Saturday with only Sunday off to rest. During the process, he seemed to be meticulous about doing things right and seemed very knowledgeable when I asked him about a couple of options such as drip edges which I opted for. I had to separately hire plumbers familiar with my solar hot water panels and while they were at my house for the disconnect and then reconnect, he worked with them to be sure everything was done right. Although I haven't climbed on top of my two-story house to see the results, the roof looks great from the street. I would highly recommend him and if I ever move and need to do another roofing job, I will use him. Mahalo, Dave.

Dave came out to fix a leak on our condo roof. I was pleasantly surprised it was a simpler fix than I anticipated. He took care of it the next day. It ended up being a smaller job him. Thanks for your honesty Dave. I truly appreciate it.
