I’ve been on a few jobs with Metta Electric and I can say they definitely know what they’re doing. There’s nothing Metta can’t handle! They get it done.

I recently called Kyle at Metta Electric to help fix an outlet and a light in my garage, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. He arrived early, which was a pleasant surprise, and got straight to work.

Kyle was incredibly efficient, completing the repairs quickly without sacrificing quality. He was also very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions, making me feel at ease throughout the process.

Metta Electric responded quickly to an electrical problem caused by a roofer driving a nail into an electric line in a cathedral ceiling over my dining room. Great response time! Two other electricians didn't even respond here in upcountry Maui. Kyle found the problem and a solution that didn't require ripping off the new roof. Metta Electric will be my go-to guys for future electrical work here on Maui.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. On a Friday afternoon we lost most of our power and the clock was ticking on two refrigerators full of perishables. A contractor friend thought we might need to replace the entire main breaker . I called Kyle. He was in the middle of a bigger job but stayed on the line with me and helped me troubleshoot. A few photos later and he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone: a tripped secondary breaker connected to the PV system. One click and my Friday went from real bad to very relieved and happy. Truly grateful to him for taking the time. That level of effort, courtesy, and expertise is a rare find. Highly recommend.

It's a challenge finding qualified electricians that are willing to come to do work on Lanai but we are happy we found Metta Electric. The electrician they have working with us Brian is very professional and respectful and knows his stuff. He helped to do a bunch of random electrical repairs and to install an electric awning.

Meta shows up, on time, and they do professional quality work. We have been in the interior design busines on Maui for 24 years and have experienced some undependable people. Don't worry about that with Meta. I call and get a quote and they show up! Friendly office staff too.

Metta Electric installed a 60 PV Panel Solar System in conjunction with a Thermal Sundrum Water System and Standby Generator at my home in Kula Glen. They did a fantastic job and their field and office personal are excellent. I've been involved with three other solar installers on Maui and Metta Electric is head and shoulders above them. I would not hesitate to have them take care of any of my electrical needs.

We had a terrible storm and fallen trees knocked our power at the meter box. Metta Electric responded the same day, got us an emergency permit from the county, replaced our meter box with coordination from Maui Electric....all within 24 hours. They went above the call of duty knowing we had no power to our home. I can't tell you how much we appreiciated their professionalism. Anything electric....we'll call them immediately. AAA+++

I was referred to Metta Electric by my GC for some repair work on my Ring Doorbell system. We're part timers from the mainland and they were able to respond next day, in our absence, which is always nerve racking. I'd easily say they're the best deal I got all day !!!!!!! I am grateful for the professionals at Metta Electric, Kyle, in helping my family through a difficult financial situation whereby the initial installers (MSP) of our PV system went out of business and left us without a warranty on the installation. Our inverter needed to be replaced and the cost of labor was astronomical without the warranty. Kyle at Metta worked with us financially on replacing the inverter and getting our system up and running again. It is good to see a reputable company on Maui willing to be a part of the community. I am confident of working with him and Metta in the future on all our electrical needs.

Metta Electric installed our Solar power system and back up batteries. Before contracting with Metta we met with two of the other established solar contractors on island. We choose Metta because they listened to our unique needs and designed a system that fit those needs. With nearly 40Kw of solar panels and 108 kWh of backup the system is quite large and encompasses two structures. Metta has also done electrical work for us. Metta is prompt, competent and professional. Kyle, the owner is accessible and is honest and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Metta Electric is awesome! I had a lighting issue in my store, and they sent a technician over right away! Brian had to troubleshoot the problem, but in a matter of hours we had lights again! Highly recommend Metta Electric!

Living at the end of a dead end road in Haiku, we got used to power outages. But now, thanks to Metta Electric we have an awesome solar system with battery backup. Ryan Kelly and his team were prompt and efficient and we couldn’t be happier! Mahalos plenty, Metta!

We used Metta Electric to install more solar panels and a battery system on our home. They did an excellent job and were great to work with. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and they communicated with us very well about the project every day. I had Kyle install Solar Panels for my Home in Lahaina. He was very gracious with his time. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He did not oversell us on a package we did not need. From the beginning I had a good positive experience. The work performed was high quality with attention to detail, e.g. cuts made for new outlets were done carefully so that it was seamless behind the cover; when looking at our panel, breakers that were not part of the original job were checked and replaced if there was a safety issue or recommendation. Metta Electric goes out of their way to make sure that the customer comes first and is satisfied. Quality and safety are a priority and it shows. I will definitely use Metta Electric again!

Before I choose a contractor to do work on my house, I like to see jobs in progress. This allows me to evaluate the workmanship and integrity of the workers. I was lucky enough to be able to observe the work that Kyle and his crew did on our housing development. I was extremely impressed by the attention to detail and professionalism of the crew. It was an easy decision to go with Metta Electric and Generac solar. I looked at Tesla but went with a company with decades of back up power solution experience, Generac. A recent power outage allowed me to observe the system in “islanding” mode where the house is disconnected from the grid and goes into self supply mode. The transition was seamless, when the grid came back online, the system connected back to the grid with no input from me. I opted for the battery wall and we are CGS with Maui Electric, our bill is now $26 per month compared to $325 per month. Extremely happy with my decision and would highly recommend Metta Electric!

We have had our PV-battery system for almost two years and Metta Electric has been right there all the way! A small component failure on one of the solar panels was detected remotely by their team. I was contacted and made aware of the failure of the component and they were out the next week to replace the failed and suspect components from the production batch. I am glad to say that I made the right decision in choosing Metta Electric to do my solar installation and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Recently I reached out to Metta Electric to check out my Tesla Wall Charger because it was overheating. The initial install was done by someone else. Owner, Kyle Kramer, came out the next day and identified the problem. He was timely and professional. He even checked out my new NEM+ system to be sure it was operating properly since we got NEM+ for my new EV. Kyle is professional, reliable, and is trustworthy to get the job done. Metta fixed and updated much of the electrical on my house in Huelo. They did a great job and I can now run my appliances and gizmos without shorts and breaks. Recently, in February 2023, Kyle Kramer, sent out a crew to complete repairs for the ATS issue for my girlfriend, Linh Peterson's PV System as well as a panel that didn't look the best at no charge for labor or material. That is what you call excellent Customer Service and he should be applauded for standing by his solar energy sustainability in Maui. Kudos to the crew as well, completing the work within a more than reasonable amount of time, where our electrical power was turned off to complete the upgrades/repairs to the system.
