I recently noticed an issue with my gutters. I emailed Ridgeline Construction Roofing and Exteriors in Athens, Alabama. Gerard responded to my email very quickly and was very helpful and responsive. He scheduled an appointment to fix the issue quickly which I really appreciated. Gerard was very professional and offered great customer service.

I would like to thank Gerard Raley, Javier, and Eric and the whole team that worked on our roof. Sneaking us in between weather events was timely. Mr. Raley was such a great leader and any questions we had, he took the time to answer completely( my dad is 81 and a little hard of hearing and he was very kind to take extra time with my dad). Eric kept me informed of timelines and was very attentive to the small details that made the effort seem effortless. Javier and his team were like a swarm of bees that were efficient and thorough with their work. I am very pleased with the results. The true test was the evening they finished we had tornadoes come thru and the roof was rock solid. Will absolutely recommend Ridgeline for any roofing needs to everyone.

Justin Hicks did great work on our roof! We had a leak cause by a nail in one of the shingles. Justin was very thorough and finished the repair in a couple hours. He showed us pictures of the problem area and his process of repair which was amazing! It gave us piece of mind knowing he is very knowledgeable and was able to walk us through his process.

Quick, efficient and professional. I reached out to Ridgeline on a Tuesday and Gerard Raley reached out to me the same day. He came out and took the measurements the next day and sent the information to me that day. I had my gutters installed less than a week after my original call. This afternoon , Justin Hicks, a rep from your company came to our home to repair damaged siding ! I must say Justin acted in a very professional manner ! He was very knowledgeable about the work needing to be done ! He was quick, he was thorough, and successfully explained the process he performed to repair our siding ! Justin is an employee you should be proud of ! He knows his stuff !

I’m extremely disappointed with this company as they were highly recommended. I had an appointment for a Friday, and it was canceled with a “I’ll get out there early next week.” I called to follow up 5 days later & got an apology and a promise of an appointment the next day and an estimate by close of business. He never showed up, he never called, and there wasn’t an estimate. He wasted more of my time as well as the insurance who is needing an estimate. Even though the job was small compared to others, just say you don’t want the job and not waste my time.

I worked with Gerard and got some gutters installed on my home. He was knowledgeable of my neighborhood and was able to give a quick quote on the project. We had a small timing hiccup in the middle, but he communicated well and had the installers at my house within 24 hours to get the job done. Great work!

Came and fixed some vinyl siding on the side of our house that blew off during a recent windstorm. They initially told me they would be able to match the color or style because of the age of the house but they did a perfect job replacing it. You can't even tell where the damage was!

I recently had a great experience with Ridgeline Construction Roofing and Exteriors in Athens, Alabama. I noticed a leak around the bathroom vent cap on my roof and called them for help. Gerard Raley, the rep I spoke with, was very responsive and called me back in a timely manner. He scheduled an appointment for the very next day, which I really appreciated.
Gerard conducted a thorough inspection both inside and outside my home. He quickly identified that the issue was with the boot seal on my roof and explained exactly what needed to be fixed. He even scheduled his crew to come out the following day to take care of the issue.
The entire process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. I'm really happy with the service I received and would definitely call Ridgeline Construction again for any future roofing repairs. Highly recommend!

Taylor at Ridgeline set me up for a new roof as well as all new hardie siding installation. Most of the work has been completed, and I must say that the quality of work is outstanding. While we are waiting for temperatures to rise some (25 F this morning) for the roofer to come back for some small finishing work, I know that Taylor is dependable and will see it all through and wanted to go ahead and write this review. First, a big shout and thanks to Javier and his boys for the outstanding hardie siding job. My house is a renovation with an addition, and Javier had to come back at different stages for hardie siding as some windows arrived late, power disconnects had to be changed, etc., and Javier always returned with never a complaint, was hands-on as the crew chief where and when needed, and was always pleasant and willing to personally help. Thank you Javier! Appreciate your quality work! Likewise, the head of the roofing crew, Senior, has been helpful and is to return to repair some bent drip-edges as soon as weather warms, and he said that he will help with installation and placement of a sun tunnel and a couple ducts through roof. While these work items were pre-negotiated with Taylor, if you've had any experience with contractors, you will know that they do not like to do core work especially after the main job is complete. And again, Javier and Senior, the bosses, both have been helpful, personally hands-on and never a complaint, and their work has been top notch. I personally appreciate when the crew bosses will get their hands dirty and work with their teams when their experience is needed. Big thank you to Taylor, Javier & Senior! Appreciate the quality work and will be recommending you all.

I reached out to RLC on Monday of this week and frankly acted like an entitled brat due to a misunderstanding caused by my builder overall.

Noelle, was the amazing receptionist that I spoke with and she handled my atttitude problem with ease and without even changing her tone! (I did call her back and apologize profusely following.)

Kendra, the Production Manager, stepped in and stepped up to mitigate my concerns; when I related to her my perspective and knowledge on how/why the damage to my roof came to be- she took the time to discuss all the different factors and even more still- relayed that she would have a tech out to check it out for me. She promptly reached back out when details of appt were available.

Today, Justin Hicks, the roof specialist—-because he’s so much more than just a tech! Came out first thing this morning, relayed all of the information of what he was going to be doing on the roof and what could be expected. Following his assessment and repair of the concerning area, he did a full walkover of the roof to prevent any other concerning areas within the coming months. The concerning spot did require maintenance and repair, Justin took care of this in good faith and as a Merry Christmas to prevent further anxiety for my son whose room was being affected.

Highly recommend their entire staff that worked together so cohesively to professionally, politely, and with REAL human concern to make sure we were taken care of completely!

The project manager, Gerard, was great to work with. He was patient with us as we were trying to decide on colors, etc. This was a large project. We were having roof, siding, facia and gutters replaced. We are very pleased with the finished product. Gerard was helpful with any issues that came up and stayed in touch through the entire project.

I had a minor issue with my roof, and Gerard at Ridgeline was extremely responsive and took care of it right away. Will definitely call Ridgeline for any future roofing needs.

Called them for an inspection of roof damage after a storm. They inspected and then I called them every week for 3 weeks to try to learn the results of the inspection and/or next steps. Nothing. I finally get a call that they want to come do “the work.” They never provided an estimate. No communication. No thanks.

My shingles needed to be replaced due to a manufacturer's defect. Ridgeline helped me through the entire process of taking photos and removing a sample of shingles to submit to the company. Once the company approved a new roof, Gerard, Project Manager, ordered the shingles and put me on the schedule.
The crew was wonderful, replaced my roof in one day. Very professional and hard working, my neighbors are now using this outstanding company. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, covered my bushes and flowers. Then they cleaned up, and literally left my house cleaner than how they found it. I had them come out for a leak repair and I must say that I am extremely satisfied. Gerard was easy to work with, communicated issues clearly, and got the repairs done in a timely manner. I guess time (and all these Athens storms) will tell if the problem is well and truly fixed. But I tell you, if it turns out not to be, I'll be calling these guys in again.

I was previously working with another roofer who did an inspection and then never responded to calls afterwards to fix the issue. I don't know exactly what happened, but I called last week to schedule an estimate for the roof on my late parents' home in Athens. I was promptly called back and scheduled for today (Wednesday). I put it in my phone but didn't note the exact appointment time. However, I know the range of when I would've scheduled an estimate due to my kids' schedules. So, I arrived at the house by 11am, knowing that would've been the earliest time I scheduled since I'm coming from Guntersville. I waited around for 4.5 hours, knowing i would not have scheduled anything past 3. Nobody showed and nobody called. Not impressed. Thankfully, I'm not out any money for the estimate but I am out the gas i used to drive there and my time- not only for today, but for the next estimate appointment I make with a different company.

Justin came to our home today to replace shingles that were damaged. He was courteous, knowledgeable and most professional. He represented Ridgeline Construction and Roofing in the best possible manner. All of the personnel my wife and I have dealt with from the company have been great to work with and while my roof will outlive me should I ever replace it, Ridgeline is the company we will select.

Couldn’t be happier of our entire experience with Ridgeline. Taylor Z was so attentive and patient throughout our questions and dealing with our insurance as we had a total roof replacement due to storm damage. They are transparent and honest with pricing and scheduling. We recently moved to the state and compared several other companies and selected Ridgeline, couldn’t be happier with the results. Roof looks great, we got larger sample colors to choose from and the crew for installation were thorough, nice, and cleaned up afterward.

I contacted Ridgeline concerning possible hail damage after seeing several homes in my neighborhood getting new roofs. Curtis came out and did an inspection and even repaired a few places that nails were showing at no charge. Great folks to work with.

I had noticed several houses in my neighborhood getting new roofs and became concerned. I contacted Ridgeline and Curtis came out and did a thorough inspection on my roof for damage. He marked hail damage for an adjuster and explained to me the condition. Very professional and knowledgeable, Ridgeline will always be my roofing contractor.

I've used different roofers in the past, with lack-luster results. Each time, we had to bring in a different company to repair the damages created by that roofer.

We've used Ridgeline twice now to correct said previous damages and have had excellent results. Hannah has been extremely helpful with scheduling and putting my mind at ease. In addition, they did not try to upsell unneeded repairs or pressure me to replace my roofing. They actually confirmed that I had several more viable years left on my roof. Words cannot express how thankful I am to them and the fantastic service they provided!!!

I am very disappointed with my experience with Ridgeline Construction. I was initially excited to work with them because of good feedback from friends. I contracted Ridgeline to replace my aging siding, install gutters , and paint my house. I also needed window replacement that I was told I quote “Ridgeline didn’t do windows” I later find out from a couple crew members that they do in-fact do window replacements. This was my first red flag. It was disingenuous for them to lie about the scope of work they can do for me. Additionally, upon installing the siding and painting the house, I have found that the exterior light fixtures were not properly mounted into the hardie siding and results in them turning sideways on the house. I also discovered that my newly installed HVAC metal flashing had been damaged after the painters came to my house. I was told that “Ridgeline would take care of it for me” I have tried for several weeks to get a call back from management, and I have got nothing but silence. They were quick to take my money and run though. My advice is to stay away from Ridgeline Construction.

Hannah at Ridgeline Roofing hands down is one of the most professional, competent, and dependable people I work with. I'm a builder and deal with subs and vendors everyday. Hannah and Ridgeline are a definite asset to my day to day business operations.

Our 6.5 year old roof was replaced by Ridgeline due to the Tamco shingles that was on the food were defective. Ridgeline employees Nick and Dylan were very helpful during this process, from checking the roof before and during the process and most importantly after application to insure that everything was appropriately applied even making sure the mess was cleaned up even the pesky nails!

I had a roof leak in Sunroom. Justin Hicks thoroughly reviewed and found the source of the leaks. Using the spare shingles provided at install, he replaced and resolved the 2 leaks.
Great service
