Six vehicles trotting around all over the place in Killingly and Brooklyn, Connecticut With no soliciting permit. Totally illegal. You guys are the reasons why insurance rates go up as well. Telling me I needed a roof. Had two second opinions, and you guys are straight out liars. Discussing. I’ll be Filing a complaint with the BBB. And with the town offices for your illegal soliciting with no permits.. If you break the law on trying to get jobs, God knows what Law, you break not following state requirements while installing.

Steve and Manny were great. Everything looks great. They were very transparent and answered all my questions.

The crew arrived very early to beat some storms that allowed them to finish everything with plenty of time to spare.

We had a hail storm last week so roofers were out door knocking. Since Saturday four companies saw the no soliciting sign and walked away. This company acknowledged it and said he isn’t soliciting, and still kept yapping. I had to outright shout PLEASE LEAVE over him. Terrible impression, I felt like I was dealing with the very bottom rung of ambulance chasers.

I am happy to say that the toughest part of getting my new roof was actually picking out the color of the shingles which I am very with. My home looks great!

Right from the start communication was excellent between the office and myself. Thank you, Grace! Once the actual roofing started Mitch the project manager was very attentive and resolved my concerns almost immediately.

Incredible experience with Rhino Back Roofing! Everyone we dealt with through the full roof replacement process was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Keith, who came out to inspect the roof, explained things very thoroughly and walked us through the insurance filing. Tori, who helped us through the entire insurance claim process was very responsive and attentive and helpful. Mitch, the project manager for the install was prompt, and again explained the progress the crew was making throughout the day. The roofing crew worked efficiently and cleaned up throughly. And the man who came to do a final clean up went above and beyond. Already recommended Rhino to multiple family members!

Here’s to Rhino-Back Roofing!!! Throughout the process, my husband and I worked alongside Matt, Victoria G, and Chad to have our roof, siding and gutters replaced after our home suffered hail damage due to a massive hail storm back in May of 2024. Though this process was long and painful due to the prolonged issues on the insurance side of things, our home was completed this June or 2025 and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and the fantastic customer service. And just a little extra shout out to Victoria G. for fighting so hard for us with the insurance company. She became not just apart of the contracting experience but more of a friend at the end, building a great relationship with us and being so personable! I’ll miss our talks weekly while we were going through this year long process. And another thank you to Chad for being personable as well and explaining the process so thoroughly and having some nice conversations about summer plans! From roof to siding, those repair took about a week and they cleaned up the area so nicely that you wouldn’t even know they were here working! So, if you need a roof repair or some fresh siding, we highly recommend using Rhino-Back Roofing for your home repairs!!

After a hail storm hit our neighborhood, I reached out to Rhino-Back Roofing to assess the damage. They not only determined a new roof would be necessary, but they, and Troy specifically at the beginning, helped get the process started with my insurance company. Between Troy and Tori, they tackled everything to get me set up so we could hit the ground running. After getting the approval for the claim and pulling the permits with the town, Rhino-Back sent out their team to get my roof replaced. Isaiah, Steve and Marcelo were my main points of contact for this point of the project and they handled everything so professionally. My roof was completed within a day and the team did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. Overall, my new roof looks great! Very happy with how it all came out and couldn't thank Rhino-Back enough for all of the help.

Highly recommend. The crew started right at 7am, efficient, and professional. If it wasn't for the new roof we wouldn't know they were here. They went around multiple times to make sure everything was properly cleaned up, no damage to any property that was not able to be moved around the house including plants.

From start to finish this was a seamless process. From Glen who performed my initial inspection, to Kellsey, Ashley and Grace who did all the office work and answered tons of questions to Mitch the job site supervisor, all of whom listened to my questions and concerns then found practical solutions to my unique installation challenges.
Great job! Mitch pointed out a gutter was damaged during the install, but had a new one dropped off and replaced before the crew went home. This team handled everything, the hardest thing to do was pick a shingle color. I would use them again if needed and would not hesitate to have them install a roof for family or friends.

Mitch and his team roofed our 1897 Victorian in one day! They cleaned up the property, picking up our yard and our neighbors of any debris that was scattered by the breeze. The roof looks great! We are extremely satisfied and pleased with their workmanship and professionalism.

Four times I have had people from this company show up at my home. I have told them that I am not interested three times now when I was able to answer the door. After I just told the last one I’m not interested and to remove me from the list he said I was on, he said, “You just have to let me do my job.” He then proceeded to keep talking instead of leaving. I have also told them each time that I do not own the home, so speaking to me about the roof makes no sense. I understand that you get business from just showing up to people’s homes and knocking on the door, but most people do not want that. It’s completely disrespectful to continue to show up after being told not to.

I can't say enough about RhinoBack Roofing. The amazing team started with Danny inspecting the roof. Justin took over from there and guided me through the next steps. Johanna coordinated the install process and permitting. Steve Beavers was the field manager and did an incredible job. Jose and his crew were equally fantastic. New roof looks incredible. Horrible experience had a representative show up at my house to discuss the project i have and his only concern was what my insurance information was (claim number) I explained to him im trying to find the right contractor and discuss what i would need and he replied with "that will not work"

The crew came to start bright and early 7am and got everything done and cleaned up by 12:30pm, start to finish. Super efficient and the work was very well done! Communication from everyone from the office to the project coordinator was A+. I absolutely recommend this team for anyone looking for a roofing job done well and clean!

This could not be easier. Was skeptical at first contact but listened to presentation. Every thing i was told came to be. Roof inspected for damage and Insurance company contacted and approved.

Work started at 0700 and complete by 1600. Shingles striped, roof blown to remove any leftover debris, plywood seems taped, 4' water shield installed, and new shingles installed. Work was done professionally. Cleanup was thorough.

I spent over 40 years doing Quality Control for nuclear power plant construction and operations. I know QUALITY work and that is what I received from Rhino.

The whole process from beginning to completion, was wonderful staff was knowable and patient. Project manager and work crew assisted me on some items that needed to be moved. They completed the job quickly and cleaned afterwards.

Rhino-Back Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. The crew was very respectful and cleaned up after the job was done. If I did not know better I would not have known they ripped off my roof. That is how good they cleaned up. Mitch, the project manager is very knowledgeable and very professional and personable. I am extremely pleased with the company.

Hard for me to describe how good this process was, exceptional is the best word. From initial consultation to job completion, I could not be more pleased. Our field manager Talles made sure the job ran smoothly, and the crew working on the roof were very impressive with their skills and work ethic. I would highly recommend rhino back roofing for anybody needing this service, I would never go anywhere else.

I’ve updated my review as they after many months of back and forth came out. They completely stripped the roof and started over. 12 hours later and new roof installed.
So far so good but time will tell as it’s only been a few days.
So my rating will still be lower due to all the issues we had. I am grateful they fixed the issues but it took some time

The first time it took 3-4 months for them to come assess the issue and that led to mold growing in my bathroom which they claim wasn’t there fault, I had no issues prior to roof being redone and the area affected was the area they had to repair.
I was charged for things never done and double charged the insurance company twice for things already done
I’m having more issues with the roof that’s a little over a year done
I’m not happy with how this is being handled
