Awesome team to work with! I had to switch home owners insurance last summer, and while they were doing their inspection they flagged the roof as needing replaced, which I was planning to have done just not right then. I was given just over a month to have it replaced. Reached out to Revival Home Performance on a Friday and was able to get an estimate the following Wednesday and they had the job completed 3 weeks later giving me some time to spare with my insurance agency. I also had them replace some siding near the roof line that had started to fall apart and caused a leak inside the house during heavy rains or melting snow. Now having gone through a rainy and snowy season I can say the leak has also been fixed!

Their workmanship was of high quality and the job was completed professionally. I highly recommend this company and plan to use them again.

Revival Home Performance goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering them for their building and/or remodeling needs. Jason, owner/operator, worked hard to communicate design expectations and even thought of [really great] ideas that improved both functionality and esthetics. The crew was so friendly, and even cleaned up with a magnetic nail sweeper to make sure my boys can continue to play safely outside following our remodel.

Impressive team. Good performance. Job well done.

Window Installation
Background - We own a home built in 1975 with original windows. Each summer the house get up to 85 – 90 degrees, which prompted us to begin the process of replacing the 6 windows along the top of the ceiling (the ceiling design is such that the peak of the roof is 2 feet higher on the west than the each side allowing for windows to add natural light along the peak of the roof). The roof design created a moisture barrier problem. The flashing sloped toward the windows and any breach of the caulk allowed water to enter the home. We bought the windows and hired another company that does only window replacement for the job initially. After 2 price increases, poor communication, wrong size windows, and 3 months behind schedule (summer being over) we decided to use Revival Energy to install the windows.
The Install – The window size issue was apparent as soon as the old windows were removed. Since poor communication from the first company prohibited getting new window (aka he never called back), Revival Energy came up with a design that both blocked the moisture and was able to use the windows we had purchased. While installing the windows, several problems with the house framing and insulation were discovered. No insulation was around the chimney and gaps in sheet rock allowed air to move quite freely between the inside and the outdoors. Revival Energy went above and beyond to fix these air leaks and insulation issues during the install and the end product (despite framing that was not level) was a better sealed and better insulated home. The original goal was to reduce summer time temperatures by increasing air flow from windows that could open, but because of the knowledge and experience of Revival Energy our home is also far warmer during the winter. The install was completed in January of 2014, so we have yet to realize the cooling benefit of the windows, but we are excited for this coming summer. Revival Energy was very professional, easy to work with, provided excellent communication during the installation process, and did a great job, even going above and beyond. I recommend Revival Energy to home owners looking for quality work at fair market prices with you the home owner in mind. Great job Revival Energy keep up the quality work.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
