After having some hail damage to our roof, we contacted Resistance Exteriors. Rob Lestina helped us work with our insurance, worked with us on replacement options, answered our many questions, and coordinated with the crew who did the installation. The entire Resistance Exteriors team was prompt, courteous, and professional from first contact to job completion and clean up! My home needed both an asphalt shingle roof and two large sections of flat rubber roofing. They completed the entire job, from tear off to wrap up in TWO days! I highly recommend Resistance Exteriors!

I hired Resistance Exteriors to replace the leaking roof of my new (to me) home in January of 2023. Their team was personable, quick to respond and came highly recommended. Now, less than two years later, it was discovered that they failed to install the flashing along my chimney which was detailed as being included in my contract and a requirement in Wisconsin building code. Their negligence has caused extreme rotting of my siding along the chimney and potential leaks into the structure. They now want to charge me to put tar on the roof as a Band-Aid until spring and then charge me again to install the flashing that I already paid them to do in the original installation. They also want to charge me to replace the rotted siding that their negligence caused. Don’t get me wrong, my house is older and there very well could have been an issue at the install that made attaching the flashing an problem but just leaving it off and not communicating with me is not the answer. I understand that mistakes happen but how a company handles those mistakes says a lot about them. Resistance Exterior’s response has been a disappointment and they will not be receiving any more of my business.

Great experience with a full understanding of what I wanted and needed to correct issues. Other roofing companies neglected to understand while I interviewed them about my job. Very consumer friendly before, during, and after the job was performed. Cleanup of job site was above and beyond expectations.

I can not speak for the quality of work yet, but the company was extremely prompt with getting someone to my house to inspect it get a quote. Dallas was an absolute delight. So respectful and made sure I was comfortable and had all of my questions answered. He was very personable and I adored how his passion for his wife. If their work is as good as the service I have already received, they will be amazing!

I highly recommend Resistance Exteriors! Their quote on my ranch home was $13K less than one contractor and $5,000 less than another. Those firms do extensive radio advertising...I suspect their ad budget fuels higher prices. Andrew was a joy to work with during the quote process. The crew had my roof torn off and re-installed by the time I came home from work at 4. They took extra care with cleaning up--I haven't found any scraps or nails in my grass. Post install, Andrew observed 2 small points that could be done better and within 48 hours, Tom (the owner) came and made things right. (kick-out flashing and a visible nail on a shingle) Communication has been solid throughout. Job very well done!

I called them to give me a quote on new gutters and roof. They never show up? So I called again and requested another quote on gutters and a new roof. Well, naturally they didn't show up again.
I've never been treated like such an inept person in my life.

I met Tom Cutts several years ago when a contractor I hired to do my LP Smartside ghosted me. Tom gave me a great quote and his crew did an excellent job on my siding. Tom and his crews strive to provide the best quality work at a fair price, and I think most people would agree that that’s not always the case these days. As a homeowner, I take pride in the upkeep of my property, and finding a reliable and skilled roofing contractor was very important to me. I can confidently say that Resistance Exteriors went beyond my expectations. From the moment I contacted them for an initial assessment to the final inspection of the completed roof replacement their professionalism and attention to detail were consistent.
The first meeting was an evaluation where Tom, the owner and Rob in sales, took the time to explain my roof's condition, the potential challenges, and the range of solutions available. Several days before the installation, Jamie, the project manager stopped by and asked if I had any questions. I mentioned that in heavy rain, water would drip down the corners of the house so he immediately came up with an efficient solution of diverting the rain water away from the house with a small rain diverter on the corners of the shingle. As Tom and Rob mentioned on their initial visit, we talked about installing a ridge vent which looks cleaner and more finished, helps with heating and cooling and is better than a bunch of vents cut into the roof surface. He also explained the complete scheduling on what to expect for my roof project. This level of transparency was very important to me.
The crew were impressive and very efficient. They arrived on time and, equipped with all the necessary tools and materials each member of the team seemed to know their role resulting in a smooth and seamless roof replacement. Rob or Jamie stopped throughout the day to check on the progress and asked if I had any questions. When the crew completed the roof replacement everything was cleaned up and my property returned to the original condition. The new roof blends seamlessly with the architectural style of my home.

This company is the one you want to do your roof, exteriors, ect. They were very receptive, respectful, answered the phone while they were on vacation and even answered on a Sunday. I have 2 toddlers and 2 dogs and the big issue for me was cleanup in the yard. I needed repairs on a very complicated roofing architecture and Tom Cutts went above and beyond more than several occasions until the leak was found and fixed. This project was no easy feat but they accomplished it! The company is very communicative and responded personally before and after work hours with continual follow ups throughout the year. They even provided home improvement suggestions outside their scope of work. I am truly grateful of their service and Tom's approach that "he services every project or home as if it was his own home." Can’t say enough good things about this company, we were looking to get an estimate on our roof because we noticed a tiny leak. Tom came over and not only gave us a detailed and fair estimate but also patched the leak and said that it will give us peace of mind until we are ready to pull the trigger on the new roof replacement. You could tell immediately how professional Tom was and that he really cares about the work he provides along with his customers. We will 100 percent be using Resistance for our roof replacement. Resistance Exteriors was phenomenal, start to finish. We need some repairs done to our roof. We called multiple contractors in the area. Some never called back, some came out, but never followed up. When I called Resistance Exteriors, I had a much better feeling. They were able to come out next day and called when they were on there way. I met Rob and knew I was in good hands. He was extremely thorough and spent a lot of time with us to make sure our concerns were addressed. He got me the quote the next day; and the cost was very reasonable. He also stopped back out with a sample of our shingles and got back up on the roof so we could make sure they were the correct ones. They were able to send someone out the next week to complete the work. The work was done exactly as explained the job was done start to finish. If I need any future work done, Resistance Exteriors is the only company I will call.

It’s rare that you find a great company from starting the bid process to installing something. They were responsive, a fair price and good for every word they spoke. What I mean is their timing on installation, quality of their repairs and replacement of two roof systems….and finished when they said they would. I didn’t have a chance to meet them when they started, I was out of town, but the job looked perfect. They cleaned the job site and I checked their work afterward, it seemed flawless to a pretty handy guy.

Andrew, my sales consultant; gained my trust with his knowledge; and then through the process; his constant follow up and follow through. Tom Cutts, Owner; was highly recommended to me by others in the trades. The crew doing the work was so amazing ...they were meticulous in their work and diligent in the installation. They also protected my yard and fully cleaned up. It was a pleasure to have them on my property. I have no reservations at fully recommending this group to my friends and neighbors. Tom and his team were amazing! We had a small roof leak that worsened over 3 days of rain. Tom addressed it immediately and not only fixed my roof leak, but he was very honest with me about my roof and what the future held for it. Tom was professional, courteous and authentic! We had Resistance Exteriors do a complete tear-off and installation of a new asphalt CertainTeed roofing system. We also had our gutters replaced. I did quite a bit of due diligence before hiring Tom and company to do our project. We hired Resistance Exteriors after we had our hands burned when we allocated the contract to another company and never showed up. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, and was great at informing us on everything related to what's going on with our roof, type of shingles, how they would install and how the work will happen on the day.

He gave us very lots of information and also kept us communicated on the schedule and status. We were scheduled for August 10 but they made it a week before itself. The whole team of Resistance Exteriors is very professional and the attitude towards work was very meritorious. The team did a wonderful job!! They did the full tear off, re-shingle and skylights replacements in 8hrs.

We are impressed with the way they started the job by taking pictures of our yard, so that when they clean, everything was right in same place when the job was done. All the trash went into dumpster and nothing was lying around. The whole yard was cleaned thoroughly, Andrew himself did final walk around and clean up again after the team, just to be assured nothing is left behind.

We are extremely impressed with the work, the team knowledge, their execution & most important communication and timeliness. We would 101% recommend them to anyone!

Resistance Exteriors replaced our skylight and shingles and did an excellent job. They were nice to work with, reasonably priced, responsive, and the end result looks great. They took special care with protecting our landscaping and not one plant was broken.

I worked with Rob and he was a consummate professional. He made sure that I knew every aspect of the roofing process answering any questions that I had along the way. He made sure that we was updating me throughout the process so that I knew exactly when things were going to happen. They were able to do a complete tear off and replacement in ONE DAY! The crew was incredibly efficient and they took great care to make sure that none of our things were damaged by there work. Then they made sure to put all of the things back in the right place after they were done. The icing on the cake was them going all around our yard, driveway and deck with a rolling magnet to make sure that no stray nails were left behind. Would 100% recommend to anyone!
