Maurice helped us secure a claim with state farm to get our roof replaced after a storm. Very grateful we chose them over the HUNDREDS of other companies who came to our door. Highly recommend!!

The adjuster/proprietor of this company failed to perform the agreed repair after 8 months of signing a contract. I've made multiple attempts to understand the reason for this delay and he has not returned my request for information. Due to their lack of response/follow through completing the repair to my roof my homeowners policy will not be renewed in 2025. Stay clear of this company and subsidiary listed below.

I enlisted Midland Adjusting to negotiate a loss on my behalf in late 2024. Gabriel Koszela license #210791135 signed a contract on 8/6/2024 assured our family he was confident working with large companies such as All State & State Farm. After the initial evaluation in September he failed to return to complete the necessary repairs and for 8 months dragged out doing the work while assured us he was following up directly with my insurer. In February of 2025 I received a notice that my insurer would not renew our policy after April 2025. I contacted Gabriel immediately to notify him of the situation and he resolved to push his "higher ups" to accelerate my work order and complete the necessary repairs. As of April 16 I've called/texted several times and he has not responded or followed up. He has failed to notify us as to why the work order was not completed and opted for the cowardly option of silence. This lack of professionalism is something I would advise you to consider when seeking a qualified contractor. Please do not make the mistake of taking their word as a "preferred contractor".

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and shock with the services provided by Midland Public Adjusting Company and Relianz Restorations. My experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling scammed.

Initial Engagement: After the hailstorm on April 24, 2023, Paul G. came on to our property (falsely representing himself as Midland Public Adjusting Corp. employee) to assess the damage. We inspected the roof together using their company’s ladder. Following the inspection, he made several false promises to secure my business and pressured me into signing a contract. However, he did not leave the copy of the contract with us nor ever sent one by mail or email, despite my repeated requests.

1. Lack of Communication: After signing, I did not hear from Paul nor has anyone have contacted us for over six months. Paul later claimed to have visited our property when no one was at home, accessing the yard and roof without my approval or prior notice.

2. Poor Customer Service: When I called the office to speak with the owner about my concerns and to request that Paul not return to our home, Edith informed me that she was unable to connect me with the owner. This lack of support was both unexpected and highly disappointing.

3. Failed Promises: My neighbor, who also used Midland’s contracting services during the same time, provided me with Norbert L., the owner, contact information. I reached out to Norbert, who promised to visit my home but never followed through. Despite my attempts to contact him via phone calls and text messages on multiple occasions, I was met with vague responses and no real follow-up.

4. Delayed Follow-Up: After one year, Edith finally contacted me to schedule an appointment. She brought samples of shingles and took measurements for the siding. However, shortly after, she informed me that I would need to pay an additional $3,000 over the original estimates provided.

5. Continuous Disappearance: After another two months of silence, Edith called to ask for my decision. I reiterated that I needed a new roof and would not pay anything over the estimates. Once again, they disappeared, and I eventually received a bill demanding 35% of the insurance checks.

It is highly concerning that, after selecting Relianz Restorations with the expectation of resolving hail damage to my property, I have been subjected to consistent delays and unwarranted additional charges. Furthermore, I have become aware that similar practices have affected my neighbors, reinforcing my belief that the company may be engaging in exploitative behavior detrimental to the community. I demand an immediate response from Norbert to address this matter. Notably, it has been one year and seven months since Paul initially visited my property, yet no meaningful progress has been made.

Tom Durych handled everything , from the start to the end , great communication, and wow did they deliver, roof and siding all coverd by insurance , and no stress for me ! . I am so happy with the end results ! Thank you so much Tom!!!!

Tom Durych was excellent to work with. He handled every aspect of me getting a beautiful roof, was always accessible with any questions that came up, handled everything insurance wise as my roof had been damaged by hail. I had the complication of needing solar panels removed and reinstalled which could have been an issue but thanks to Tom was not. The job was the smoothest I could have ever imagined.

My experience with Relianz was nothing but top notch. Steven Fussk was the rep I dealt with and he was absolutely great from the start. Very informative and easy to contact. I can honestly say what Steve promised me before I signed was delivered and some. All I had to do was sign, they filed my claim and dealt with the insurance company 100%. I got both my house and garage roofs replaced and like Steve said I only have to pay my deductible. All the stuff that was partially covered do to depreciation or not covered at all they figured it out. No surprises thankfully. And then there's the work, these guys knocked both roofs out in one day. And to top it off when I've been told by multiple people to cover my stuff and expect to have to clean up a bunch of shingle mess lol I did not. They covered everything then cleaned it all up along with putting my patio furniture back the way I had it. I'll be going back to Relianz for work I want done. I know I could probably pay less somewhere else but top notch professionals here. Worth the peace of mind and every cent. I've got Steve's number saved.

They were amazing when it comes to customer service, and how they handled everything with the insurance company. The men they used were clean and fast but did quality work. Tom was amazing with the gutter install as well. I would recommend 10/10 times to anyone

Feel like Scamers. It took them 9 month to do our roof, and they messed up with gutters. Never came back to finish sunroof. Good that we were paying after job done and not upfront. Paul and Edith were very rude work started only after Norbert came after few complains. Interesting that we recommended them to our neighbors(unfortunately) one of them still have nothing fixed and said that Paul and Edith are rude to them too. Second neighbor said that They refused to do roof for them and was forcing my neighbor to pay them 35% from check.

I was referred to Norbert from Relianz Restorations Company from a friend after realizing my roof was damaged from a weather event. He totally took control of the roof replacement navigating all aspects in a professional manner . He also provided help securing coverage through my insurance company.. Norbert always took time to answer all my questions relieving my concerns as the process was very stressful and confusing. I have already referred him to all my neighbors and will continue to do so.

Norbert the owner takes pride in everything his crew does. My house is done perfectly I was dreading having my roof replaced because of my 300 thousand in landscaping, they took great care not to damage anything Wow! I guess in conclusion if your looking to do your roof you should at least talk to them.

This company is the best exterior company. They even came back after another storm to fix things on the house (pun intended). No one can compare.

Jackie came to the door asking if I’d be interested in having my roof checked for hail damage, that was quite extensive throughout my area. She found a lot of damage. The insurance adjusters came out and agreed with her findings.
Todd made an appointment with me to pick out shingles and sign some papers. I appreciate his keen eye in helping me pick the right color.
The shingles arrived one day and the installing crew next morning. The crew covered all plants and shrubs by the house, moved patio furniture, and grills out of harms way. While they tore off the old roof and installed the new, a person on the ground was constantly picking up any remnants and sweeping with a magnet for nails. I can’t say enough about the professionalism of this crew. When they finished, they uncovered and replaced everything to its original spot.

Tom from Relianz Restorations Co. Is an absolute rockstar! He was able to get our roof and gutters replaced in under a month. I was nervous about finding some roofing nails in my driveway or yard after the job was completed. The workers stayed almost a hour after they were done to do a very detailed check of my yard and driveway to ensure that we wouldn’t get a flat tire or my animals wouldn’t be injured. Tom was super responsive and very easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. I would highly recommend this company if you need any type of restoration done on your home and want it done right and quick.

Todd worked with us to get approval from our insurer for replacement of a roof that had been damaged by hail. Despite some resistance from our insurer he was persistent and got the approval. The roofers were very professional and completed the job rapidly. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up thoroughly.

Roof installation was done . Gutter installation was not completed. Workers forgot or did not have gutter extension that was previously there which is necessary to keep water from draining into basement. Called and texted Todd numerous times in October and November with promises that he was sending the part UPS, mailing to me, had in his trunk and would bring to me. nothing happened until I called your office this week and someone is coming next week with the part. He even told me to go buy the part at hardware store for 9.99. I did and it did not fit. Went to all the stores and none of them have the right size and I told him.Very disappointed in him.

Had a massive hail storm that tossed down 2 inch hail over My area damaging homes siding, roofs, cars etc. Within a day we had a dozen in town and out of town businesses soliciting for the restoration work which was a very new process for us. Long story short after meeting with numerous reps from various companies I settled on working with Todd with Relianz for replacing our roof and gutters. From start to finish if there were any concerns Todd was there to answer all calls and texts. The roof installation and gutter work was scheduled and finished professionally and on time. While Relianz was not a local company they serviced us and treated us as if they were. If your considering using Relianz for your restoration job worry not Todd will have your back

Excellent customer service! Adam was outstanding explaining and arranging everything, communicating with me the entire time. Mike was amazing helping manage the insurance and financial end . I was put on the schedule much faster than I thought.. within just a few weeks. They finished the job in 1 day. Excellent clean up and then follow up with Adam. From start to finish, excellent!

I am very pleased with Relianz Restorations and I would highly recommend this company. I’m sure that if we did not have Todd representing us, our insurance company would not have approved our new roof. We did not have to do a thing.

New roof, gutters, and downspouts all paid by insurance! Todd gave us an inspection, and was knowledgeable and not pushy at all (a huge plus for me). I signed some paper work with him and he took care of the rest. Anytime I had a question he always got back to me that same day and told me what was what. Insurance agent showed up for inspection with a different guy from Relianz. Talked to them for a few minutes and that was all. Insurance sent initial check, Todd picked it up and Relianz was there the following week to drop off materials and do the roof. The gutters and downspouts were finished shortly thereafter. Clean up could have been better in the mulch/bushes area, but in the end all of the positives far outweighed that. Overall great experience and would recommend!

I texted him back and said he may not come by my house again and to stop contacting me. His response was that they would pursue legal action and he continued to call and text me throughout the day. I received a call from Diane at Midland public adjusting that same day and when I called her back she essentially explained to me that I needed to be an adult and honor the contract I signed. And I explained to her the situation with Todd from start to finish and she said he never should’ve offered to pay or offset my deductible since that was illegal in the state of Illinois. She further explained that he was new to the company but I still need to honor the contract and pay them their fee for work they havent done. At the time of signing the contract I was not aware that it was illegal for a contractor to offer to pay or rebate a customers deductible To induce them into signing the contract. What I am aware of is that in the state of Illinois any contract that is executed based on misrepresentations or other illegal means of inducement voids that said contract. I explained that to Diane and she asked what I did for a profession I told her it was none of her concern. Diane then said she would call me back the following Monday to see if they could replace my roof for the amount of my insurance check. She also assured me that Todd will not be contacting me again. Diane never called me back so I figured the matter was over. That is until last Thursday when Todd approached my house wanting to talk and I explain to him the contract was Null and void. He threatened me again stating that I would be hearing from their attorneys. I called Diane back the following morning and explained that Todd again approached my house and she apologized stating that she thought they had already had the conversation with him. I yesterday I received a certified letter in the mail from Midland Public adjusting stating that I owed them their fee. I called and spoke with Diane and she still said I had to honor the contract and that the owner, Norbert would be calling me later that day but never did.

When I look closer at this contract I noticed that Todd signed Norbert‘s name on the contract.

This could be a 5 star review, but the actual roof job was done in early June and it took several weeks to get everything wrapped up.

Todd is great and got noticeably better even in the relatively short duration of our job. Great communication, and very evident concern that we were happy with the work.

One of our problems was that we needed a large portion of our roof decking/sheathing (plywood) replaced . They told us that would not be something they could predict or assess until they tore off the old shingles, but we should have done more to understand and/or lock-in the pricing ahead of time. Regardless, the outcome was very fair - they showed us what needed replacing and why, and were very fair with the pricing.

There was also an issue with the flashing where the 1 story garage roof meets the siding to the 2nd story of the house. Some back and forth while we tried to figure out what was wrong, but most importantly - Relianz and Todd made it right and we are happy with the results.

I would strongly recommend Todd and Relianz - Our experiences I think are important... even though there were some issues, the way they resolved those issues is what makes me comfortable posting this review.

Julius did a great job helping us out with our roof from the start of the claim to the end. He was there each step of the way from the initial
consultation, to shingle selection, and the final contract signature. Communication was great as well where we were kept updated each step of the way. He was there during the process of the roof being installed multiple times and also after the roof was completed for the final walkthrough. We are grateful for Julius help and will recommend our friends and family.

Just got our roof done in Bartlett- Julius was our public adjuster. Him and his team did a wonderful job completing the job! I was amazed by how well he was able to accommodate and cooperate with my family and I. Not only did he quickly write up a quote for us, but he also walked us through the process, and even went as far as helping us narrow down our decision on which roof design to go with. When the roof project started, Julius would make frequent visits to the house to ensure his workers were doing their job properly- he also consulted with us to give us a recap on what was done and what was expected to be done each day. Towards the end of the project, they cleaned up very well and I’m happy to say that I didn’t find a single nail on my property. Definitely recommend this company for anyone looking to get a new roof or any work done on their home exterior!

Todd Boss provided us an inspection of our roof, which had wind and hail damage. He coordinated a replacement roof that complimented our siding and functionality of our previous roof. Todd worked with our insurance company, so we had nothing to do but pick the roof color and pay our deductible. The service was timely and within a couple of weeks after we received a quote. I was not sure that I would be able to get a new roof. I worked with Todd the whole time. Todd made sure that everything was taken care of to get our new roof and he was always available to answer all my questions any time I needed him. I used Relianz Restoration Company to replace my entire roof, including new plywood, for my primary residence as well as new roofing materials on a rental property that I also own. The workmanship was excellent and the entire job was completed within two days of starting. I was able to deal with the consultant, Chris Chadwick, who inspected the roof, gutters and miscellaneous siding elements to determine the total damage caused by recent storms. Chris was totally professional in my interactions with him as the representative of Midland Public Adjusting and cared for all inspections and communications with the insurance companies. My personal involvement was minimal. I cannot say enough good things about Midland and Relianz and would recommend them to any homeowner needing roofing restoration. The entire process was handled professionally, ethically and produced results which totally met my expectations. I am extremely happy with the results obtained.

Relianze came through in a big way after the hail storm damaged our home in Wheaton in 2019. We quoted 3 different contractors and Relianz came in with the best deal by far. Norb and Wojtek were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Their crews were polite, helpful and trustworthy. A special shout out to Randy for a great job. We've received many compliments from the neighbors and we are very happy with the results.

They have done two jobs for me now. Both were fantastic experiences. They replaced my flashing, gutters, and some of my roof. They did a great job and stood by their work. When there were issues, Norbert would always come and check to get it fixed. Their communication can be a bit spotty, but if I call then I get a call back quickly. They also replaced the roof on my porch. It was a great experience and there are no leaks!
