Great experience with Jack! After getting the run-around from other roofers, I called him at 5:30PM and he was at my house at 7:30AM the next day to fix my shingles before the rain in the forecast. With the recent strong winds, a piece of the aluminum trim came loose. I was concerned it would rip off completely with the wind and cause damage to someone's car, property or even injure someone. I called a few places claiming to offer 24/7 or emergency service without any luck until I called Red Seal Roofing and Jack answered. After describing the damage, Jack promptly made his way over despite the late call to do the repair giving me peace of mind. Grateful for his fast and professional service!

Jack diagnosed the exact problem preventing us from having to fix expensive and unnecessary things. I was very happy with my experience with Jack at Red Seal Roofing. I noticed water staining in my ceiling upstairs. I called Jack on Monday morning and he was there within 15 minutes. He did the repair that morning. This was after another roofer had misdiagnosed the problem, and then another one said they would do the repair but did not show up for a week. Jack's rates were reasonable and he was a friendly guy. Highly recommend, particularly for repair jobs.

Red Seal Roofing saved my day! I had an excellent experience with this company. I spoke to Jack over the phone after noticing water dripping from one of my pot lights after heavy rain. He came over within 30 minutes, found the hole in my roof and put a temporary seal on it. He was prompt, professional and very easy to talk to. All this late in the day on a Friday afternoon. Jack was extremely helpful! He was working on my neighbour’s eaves and, without hesitation, checked on an issue with drainage at my home and unplugged a downspout for me. We set an appointment for the following week to deal with a repair. The work was done promptly, tidily and effectively. Jack was friendly, respectful and reliable. Our gutters and roof needed some repair after all the storms recently - I noticed tons of water pouring out of a burst seam (as well as a lost shingle). I emailed Red Seal Roofing and was impressed with how communicative and quickly they came by to survey the damage and schedule in a repair. Jack even went above and beyond and helped us out with gutter cleaning and minor repair of a few other shingles, and cleaned up afterwards. All in all, very happy with the service received and I'd highly recommend these guys!

After a severe windstorm in Ottawa earlier last week ripped a wide area of shingles off our roof, we contacted Red Seal Roofing Ottawa's Jack Dawson.

He quickly set out a plan to repair it. He kept us informed at every step, took multiple pictures of the damage and pre-emptively re-secured a wide area of poorly installed roofing shingles so that they would not become the next storm's target.

Jack also took the time to source out matching shingles for our 12 + year old roof. All was completed within about 12 hours of my call.

Prompt, professional, courteous and caring service - care towards doing the project extremely well, on time and within budget.

The Red Seal certification is not easy and I know why Jack is one of the very few in town who has it and takes great pride in applying that knowledge, as well as his personal values, to his company's work.

Our roof started leaking the week before Christmas and we called Red Seal Roofing and they were able to come out to check out the issue later the same day. We’ve used Red Seal Roofing a few times over the last year. Our shingle roof high and steep and has some rather complex venting. I go directly to Red Seal anytime I need any elevated work done. Over the last year we’ve had them install a Starlink satellite dish with all the necessary sealing that goes with it, inspected the roof following a heavy wind storm in May 2022, repair elevated siding, and install a security camera with a custom mount 2 stories up.

I hired Jack to do a few odd repairs around my rental property including patching up holes, setting up a one way door for squirrels, and installing pigeon spikes. He was extremely knowledgeable with the appropriate methods and materials to use, and I was especially impressed by the speed and quality of his work. He was also more than happy to offer his help on a few other things while he was already up 3 storeys high on the ladder such as making a few minor adjustments on some crooked window screens. The OCD in me really appreciated that! Really down to earth and patient dude! Will definitely call him back for some roofing work that I have in mind.
