I made a reservation 2 days ago that I would arrive at 5:00 a.m. I am outside the hotel without sleeping because the receptionist did not want to assign us the reserved room. Clearly, we understand that the entrance is at 3:00 p.m. but at the same time I am paying in advance that I am supposed to sleep in my car until 3:00 p.m.

Positive: Nothing. I will never stay there ever again!! Negative: The cleanliness of the room. The shower held the water while taking a shower. The toilet was not clean. There were no towels or toilet tissue in the bathroom. I had to go to the front desk to get toilet tissue. There was no breakfast offered as well.

When I'm traveling solo, I just need the basics. This Red Roof Inn is pretty dire. I feel like spending a little bit more elsewhere would have been completely worth it.

The windows in my room (and many others I noticed) don't close all the way. They are broken to the point that about 1" is always open to the bar and street noise outside.

The cleaning product used on the floors leaves a sticky residue. It stained the bottoms of my socks yellow.

The bathroom looked clean at first, but hairs and dust are easily visible in corners and under the sink upon closer inspection. The toilet seat is not properly attached and the toilet itself looked like it had a rough life. There was no shampoo in the refillable shower dispenser.

The bed itself was comfortable and the pillows were nice. I slept OK, but I would not return here.

Im not sure where to start but BEWARE -

This location makes you check out at the normal check out time everyday during your stay, even if you have to 2 more nights booked. I had to confirm this even after they told me because of how my nonsense it made. I was told since I booked through a third party, it’s a new policy for them to check you out and check you back in at the normal check in time.

Even using third party bookings, most hotels let you cancel the room. I arrived early but because of that, I needed to leave sooner than originally planned, well, they would not let me cancel, even with the problems I had with my room

The room was very uncomfortable. The loud A/C and flat tiny pillows made it very difficult to sleep.

I will never stay at this location again, or another Red Roof

this is one of the nicest red roofs I've ever stayed in (usually they are motel style, this is not). Yes, old, yes 2-star hotel (its a red roof), but its really like a 2.99 star hotel!

I am a member. Member # 6006331452. I like to express my self to let this company, Red Roof Inn know that I’ve been coming to stay at the Red Roof Inn for many years now. I must tell you that I’m very comfortable when I stay here. The staff is very accommodating to me. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms.Denise Mason, who have been very professional in this business. When I arrive late nights she is on board and Ms.Mason take her precious time to make sure that I’m secure & she make sure that I’m comfortable in the room of my choice. If something is wrong at a room that I’m not comfortable with she assure to place me in a room that I am comfortable in. Ms.Denise Mason, have a way with her kind & sweet personality to make sure when I arrive sometimes late that I’m rest assured & placed in the right room that I booked prior before I come. Always Janet & Scott are professional & expertise in their work here at Red Roof Inn, has been very accommodating with my stay here. They also make sure that I’m comfortable in my room with my stay. With this team at Red Roof Inn, that this company hired they all are the perfect people at this location #395. They all need a raise or a money bonus in their pay that I observed as a continued customer here at the Red Roof Inn, in my opinion. I hope & wish that they get whatever this company has to offer them. More better pay. They deserve it all!

Management is horrible u can't check in early they are rude to u treat u like ur below them, then they break there own policy's but then wanna say oh we can't break our policy or u have to pay 30$ extra ,then they have a young 20 year old who rude as well ,this place is family owned so they make sure they accommodate to there relatives but treat the costumers like they are less of the staff and management. They have a night staff named Rocky who is extremely disrespectful I asked for his manager and he kept saying no no when I had simple questions he was telling me we're not helping you .the only respective women here were the two black ladies

They don't have an elevator, so if you're on the 2nd floor, you have to go up the stairs. The staff, the evening and overnight, are phenomenal!! The owners wife is snippy. I didn't care for her or her son. I asked at 11 for coffee, and they were out, and he said if it's gone, they are not making anymore rudely. I checked out and had my stuff outside waiting for my ride. The owners wife walked past me and said I need to move my stuff.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! The hotel is kept very clean, as are the rooms which are very inviting. They have been adding beautiful hardwood flooring to the rooms and slate tiles to the bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable too. The staff are incredibly friendly and the cleaning crew are respectful of your space and also very friendly. But that's not all! This hotel is incredibly well priced and affordable, the best pricing I've seen. So all in all an amazing hotel experience.

Bugs would be in the room, giving us a room with a broken jetted tub (what's the point of booking us one of those if it doesn't work?), there was gunk that you could feel on the floor even with shoes on, and manager was overly dramatic and rude. Will not be staying here again.

I stay here a lot (4-6 times a year for 3-7 days) because the rooms are always clean, it’s in a good location, and the check-in counter is always so friendly. The downside is that managers are very overbearing and rude, while also texting on their phone during the interaction. Could not tell it was a manager through the door and she would not leave until I opened the door about the trash bag my kid had put outside the door (he’s used to hotels that allow that). I didn’t want to open the door with a stranger standing there and I said that, but she never even looked at the peep hole and showed a name tag or anything identifying her as an employee. I said I’d get the trash and she just stood there. I said I’d get it when she leaves because I didn’t feel comfortable opening it with her there and she said she was a manager. Again, showed no evidence of it or even looked up so I could see her face. Guest safety should be more important.

Busy week and hard to find accommodation

But Janet at front desk was the best. She really stood out amongst all I’ve seen with hotels over the years.

Clean rooms also.

I’ve stayed here often on for the past two months for work. This has got to be the worst location. I’ve stayed in I Am red roof member. but I would encourage anyone to not go to this location i’ve paid extra for late checkouts, and yet they insist on banging on the door at 10 AM at 11 AM
The staff was rude and very unprofessional when act why are we knocking on doors so early
good morning Desk manager, she replied when you don’t have to stay here I found the whole interaction. She slammed the door shut and threatened to call the police.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My brother came from out of town so I had stayed there before a few years back and it was very nice, clean amd comfortable. This past weekend we came Friday till Monday and we were going to pay Monday again but unfortunately, because I was 3 mins late for check out, the manager on duty that morning caused us to decide against it and stay elsewhere. I was getting my purse to go to the front and pay and a loud pounding was at my door. I thought maybe there was an emergency like a fire in the building or something worse. Turns out it was the manager and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. Obviously I was irritated about how she pounded on the door, but we didn't want to have to pack up and go elsewhere so we decided to go ahead and stay again but there was no way I was going to pay after she said "give me your card and ID." I still kept my cool based on the fact thay she's an elder. Maybe late 50s early 60s. Then she asked me if "I had a problem or something to say." I expressed my frustration with the pounding and she said "well I'm the manager and I have every right to pound on the door at check out time, and if you don't like it you can get your stuff and get out and don't come back." All because I was 3 minutes past checkout?! So I asked for my card back and she said good, get out. So I went to my room we packed up within 2 minutes but I was missing an earring. Upon looking for my earring I had to move things around and found piles of dust behind my bed, dirt under the nightstand, there's no box spring the bed is sitting on a black square of metal square with 4 poles holding the bed up. I let her know on my way out of what I found and that they should do a better job of cleaning especially for the price and she told me "oh well, you stayed so you must like it. I called coorporate and they as well were no help. I dont reccomend this place to anyone. Take your $95 and stay somewhere worth it!

Good place to stop. I've been there a few times. Rooms were always clean. The room heater worked great. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. There is a nice restaurant right next door.

Bare bones room, nothing was particularly comfortable. But we were just passing through for one night so it was fine. If you’re traveling with babies/toddlers— they do not have portable cribs even though their website says they do. I had requested two cribs when booking through Expedia, and thankfully someone at the hotel called me a few days before our reservation. I’m a little annoyed I had to buy two pack & plays just for this trip, but that’s better than showing up with 9 month old twins and not having a place for them to sleep.

Just when I was ready to give Red Roof Inn another chance, I was let down again. This location looked promising from the pictures but as anything you shouldn’t go off something based on the looks because it usually is always different than portrayed. We always have sanitary issues when it comes to Red Roof and this was the same thing. Room was infested with ants, walls/mirrors dirty, lamp shades were ripped and crushed up and the bed was waaaay too hard. Glad we only needed to stay a few hours as we only stopped to get some rest on our way up to NY. No more Red Roof for us.

Very clean room. You can’t expect a 5 start hotel so you get what you pay for. But no complains, for what I paid I got what I needed. We forgot to bring tooth paste and to our surprise they had some at the front desk. The lady who works at night was excelente. Good customer service. The guy who works during the day not so much.

Room had an ant problem, floors were disgusting, didn’t look like they were even vacuumed and bathroom had hair and dirt all over. Hallways reeked of weed. Luckily, there were no bedbugs and that’s the only reason we stayed because we just needed a place to sleep for the night before driving home

For a 2 star hotel the staff was amazing, The room was clean remind you this is a $60 motel it's not a 5 star resort. I didn't get bit with anything in the room.. The close restaurants was awesome. The parking lot was like any other at 12pm stay inside...

Overall it’s a nice hotel for the price. However they need to fix the time room service comes. They knock on your door between 9:00am-10:30am to ask you if you need room service. I had the red placard on my door indicating that I didn’t require room service because I was still resting and the maid still inserted her keycard into the door to come in. It woke me up and I had to tell them to look at the placard on the door. If checkout time is 11am, they shouldn’t be knocking on your door or asking if you need room service before that time.

Was in Stafford for 1 week for work a group of 20 techs do to a graduation at Quantico there were few Hotels after 1 night do to time of check in our Company found other accommodations in Fredicksburg 30 mins away due to the conditions of the hotel rooms. They had stains and hair on sheets no pillow cases and stains and what appears to be blood on wall in bathroom. Parking area has low light, appears to be a spot for locals .Hotel needs a major renovation

We ended up in Stafford because we missed our Fredericksburg exit because of construction and are so glad we did! We travel w our kitty, so pet friendly is a must. Front desk gentleman was awesome. Room was spotless clean, beds were comfy, quiet, great water pressure, only thing we might have wished was bkfst on site but since covid many places stopped doing...so understandable w labor situations these days & there's bkfst nearby. Great Mexican restaurant next door as well as a sports pub. Beautiful area.. We will def make Stafford our new halfway stop north south. Great job guys!

Lovely place. Nice and clean and friendly service. Pillows smelled stale or moldy this time which is unusual for this red roof. Typically the rooms are very clean!!!!

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?
+-

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
