Red Roof Inn Carrollton

We have spent...2 nights ..at this Red Roof hotel,and are fixing to checkout..tomorrow and we can't leave...without..recognizing the wonderful level of service we have recieved from Ajay . He was very helpful and always with a very nice attitude of service. He really helped...us have a really nice stay. Great job Ajay.

We had a very good stay after Expedia messed up our reservation AJ was very helpful and got everything straightened out. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Thanks to AJ for all his help.

Check in went well. It was close to 1a and I was exhausted from driving but conversation was good and the new manager was nice. They only had 2 rooms left so I took one with the full size beds. I didn’t sleep well but I also had a kid sleeping with me so I can’t say it was all due to the discomfort of the bed. We got up around 9 and headed down to the breakfast. There was no waffles, cereal, milk or orange juice. When I asked for them to refill so my kids could eat, they said it was all gone and try again tomorrow. I let them know we were getting ready to leave and they shrugged. We went back up to the room to shower and get back on the road, but the shower was broke. The bath water ran warm though so that was a win. It was my reminder that you get what you pay for.

Mr. Ajay was absolutely amazing. The best customer service I have ever received at a hotel. He truly went above n beyond for me. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The only down fall I saw was handicap bathroom could use an upgrade. Besides that I will always choose this hotel anytime I'm traveling this way again. Thank you Mr. Ajay for your kindness I will make sure I pay it forward

Very slow receptionist and acted like we didn’t had confirmation. Called us twice at 1am to say we missed the initial! Room had smell and blankets were dirty! The room was decent clean but the appliances like iron and hair dyers were nasty and filthy! Towel has stain and hair all over. Dirty towel with nasty smell! For breakfast, some eggs, sausage, gravy, and few pieces of bread. They have breakfast for the name! Pancakes ran out no fruits not juice!

I would highly recommend anybody that is traveling to stop here, the customer service was amazing AJ - He is a partner of the red roof inn, top-notch customer service very genuine, and excellent to work with, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great!

For the price, it’s a good option. The only complaints I have are that the shower head in the walk in shower didn’t move, it was just a fixed position unless you took it off and held it. And that the ac didn’t work. I tried from 70 down to 63 degrees and never felt a difference. Other than those two things, the bed was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and it was located right where all the food in town was. I’d stay here again

Truly scary and filthy. Mucus on the walls, dust and splatter thick on the nightstand, scum dripped on the floor by the bed, telephone was decoration only and had no cord attached to it, channels on TV didn’t work at all (and it wasn’t a smart tv). The door barely locked and I could see the hallways through three sides of the door. The bed skirt was nasty and the whole room, even the sheets and pillows, smelled like rancid spices. The front desk worker was outside smoking without a badge and didn’t greet me when I walked in, and let me stand by the desk until his cigarette was done… Whoever is running this place might be a nice person but they’re failing as nothing is done with excellence or even minimum standards. I was TRULY afraid for my safety sleeping there.

Stopped here for the night, checked in late and was greeted by friendly helpful staff. The beds were quite comfortable and the room was clean. We were up early to get back on the road and were pleased with the breakfast options. The biscuits and gravy were very good, not quite my grandma’s but I would have it again! Only improvement I would suggest is a grassy area. As a pet friendly hotel we were hoping for some grass for our Carly to do her business.

I unexpectedly needed a place to stay the night and this place came up clutch! Service was great, but the best thing about this hotel was their pet friendly policy (as well as their night rates). I hope this doesn’t change and are able to keep these attractive deals. I will always come back to businesses like these.

I owe this hotel 5 stars for them caring for my dog while I was sick.

My experience was very pleasant the whole staff was very helpful and very friendly. The locals were very friendly as well felt very welcome and to be able and enjoy the the town. Looking forward to coming back. Many blessings to everyone at the red roof inn and C-burg diesel engine repair shop.

Stopped in for a 1 night stay. Everything was great except we got the room in front of the door bell. Every time the lobby door opened we heard the bell.

This place is amazing the staff is amazing they are so nice and wonderful and we are so grateful for them at our time of need we really love it here they make you feel right at home

Friday & Saturday night stay

Positives first... comfortable beds, friendly staff (when you can find them), walking distance from restaurants and other hotels when you want to leave

I should of left when I read the sign that gave "helpful ideas for a good night's stay" that had 4 ways to create white noise in your room to drown out sound!

Dog friendly, far more than human friendly!
I have no idea how many dogs were in my hallway but there were times I wondered if I was staying in a dog kennel. You have no one to express concerns to because there was no one at the front desk the majority of the time. Room was sorta clean, clean linens but plenty of hand prints on full size mirror and I Clorox wiped the handprints on the headboards, nightstand was obviously not cleaned since there was a bottle lid tucked beside the phone.

Rooms where clean and offered plenty of towels. New pump soap, lotion, body wash and shampoo. The laminate floor was pulled up on places. They offered a hot breakfast casserole and waffles with some cereal. My complaint is when I took the dog out to potty the maid went into our room! My husband was in the bathroom pooping (hopefully that will teach her). I did inform the front desk.

I stayed for a week here a few weeks back, the rooms were clean, the staff was amazing and the breakfast was good. The price was also a very good deal. If you are looking for an affordable and move place to stay I highly recommend the Red Roof Inn. They treated us so well.

I was exhausted from traveling and was 30 minutes away from home. I checked in online, and when I arrived. Just because I was considered local by grid area, I had to pay $100.00 deposit.
I'm Handicapped and they didn't have an elevator, so from a king room, I was moved to the full bed room on the 1st floor, and the lamps were dirty, and the phone was filthy.
Well, the refinished hotel was nowhere near what it said paint was a mess on the doors and walls baseboards also.
The breakfast casserole was cold, and the potatoes in it were not cooked. Coffee and other things were out, and they were outside smoking.
Other staffing issues were that they said no smoking only in designated areas, and that was fine with me. I don't smoke. The help was sitting outside in front of the hotel smoking.
They lady who checked me out was so amazing and friendly.
I'm so sorry to say that in Carrollton Kentucky as it was my hometown, but I'm so disappointed in how the Red Roof Inn is displayed online.
It is absolutely NO STAY FOR ME AGAIN.

We put in for 2 queens and ended up with 2 doubles, which was very difficult for 4 people to be comfortable with. There was no elevator. We woke up after out first night with my daughter's phone laying in a half inch of water. Our showers had leaked through the wall and they moved us downstairs. We had so much luggage and the no elevator thing really sucked.

Everyone here is amazing! Super friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean establishment, pet friendly and stays clean, very tall ceilings, HOT showers, good breakfast, great coffee, great prices, and great location. I highly recommend this place to stay.

The rooms were fine. Nothing special but clean. Good location to walk to food etc. The attendant was friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining.

We do NOT recommend this hotel. They quoted us a price, gave us a confirmation number and the name of the person booking the reservation. When we arrived, they were going to charge us $100 more than the quoted price. Even after talking to a manager on the phone, they would not honor the price we were quoted. The manager was extremely rude. If you dont like to be lied to, don't stay here.

I booked my room through Expedia, the pictures they have, the room looked beautiful and clean. When we got there the only thing clean were the sheets on the bed and clean towels. We were gone all day got back to the hotel around 11:30 pm noticed you could see out in the hallway from the door not fitting properly. Next morning we got up early and left hoping we would come back to a clean room. We were disappointed had the night shift clerk come look at it and we took pictures. The beds werent made the floors were dirty, they left 2 clean towels and wash cloths.

Seems covid hit this place hard aince last I was there in 2020. Had a roach in my room. The room itself looked like it had recenrly been remodeled but they forgot to plug evrrything in and were missing some lightbulbs. Was onky there one night but glad I left when I did. Im a contractor and im used to these kinds of hotels but it seemed like there was a lack of staff and unable to keep up with cleaning. Hopefully they can turn around it was better a few years ago and they gave me great rates.
