Red Roof Inn Bishopville

We been staying here since couple weeks . I got my house burn so we come this hotel with my 6 grand kids and my dog we loved to stay here it’s so convenient to the local fast food restaurants, the staff is friendly and was very accommodating to my family needs.my grand kids was enjoyed too because they can play outside. The room was very clean! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to this area. Thank You for making our stay comfortable and safe for my family.

I enjoyed my stay with red roof . Staff were very welcoming . Room was clean ,safe and quiet place. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed here for a weekend and our stay was awesome. The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The beds are very comfortable. When i open the room smell very fresh air . Room was nice and clean . It look like room was freshly paint .

I checked in this hotel yesterday at 2:15 in the afternoon I go to use the bathroom The toilet paper holder fell off the wall no big deal get up this morning to make a cup of coffee The coffee maker is nasty full of black gunky crap very dirty and

it don't even work then I go to take a shower The towel rack on the wall fell off I paid over $500 for five night's Day and this is what I get this is what I call stupid

Like many other reviews, this isn’t a good stay.. Sheets had stains and holes. Couch had stains. It was a non-smoking room but smelled like smoke. Ice machine was broken. They turned the water off at one point and when it came back on, the water came out of the faucet black. The phone in the room did not work. Noises outside all hours of the night - honking horns, people coming and going.

The only great thing was the location to the highway and food nearby and a well-lit parking lot, as it doesn’t seem to be the safest town. This was an emergency stop for us while we were getting a vehicle repaired.

Stayed here 3 nights and like most reviews, bed sucks, pillows suck and if you expected the room to look like the pictures in Google maps, it did NOT! It’s very very dated, and needs some huge improvements. The rooms are also dirty, the staff don’t care about that either.
If you need a place to stay for one night and have no expectations, go somewhere else. Coming from Canada on a 13 hour road trip, I wouldn’t ever stay here again.

My dad's aunt was in the room by herself with the door locked me and my dad were in the room next door talking to my cousin and someone tried to go in my dad's aunt room open the door but the Chain was on so they couldn't get in and when she started screaming for my dad he ran then we called the front desk and they said they didn't see anything on the camera then the guy came out and said that he got the room mixed up but his card key was still able to open the door

The rooms are dirty and the shower it’s like black dots everywhere and flies the women is very rude and weird when me and my sister went to go ask for the Wi-Fi password bc she didn’t update the password information on the card and I spent a few minutes tryna figure out why it wasn’t working so me and my sister went to call but we couldn’t bc the phone don’t work but there’s a card that says dial 0 for front office (more false info) so me and my sister went to the front to ask her about the Wi-Fi cause it wasn’t working and she gonna say (it wasn’t working?) like she ain’t know or she was confused (there was a male in the office talking or flirting with her) it seemed like she was showing out infront of him it seemed like she didn’t wanna give no one the Wi-Fi password. But anyways here’s the password for anyone who stay here. 2023welcome

We arrived Friday night late .. April 26, the clerk on the desk was extremely nice and we had a good conversation. We were in a king room, nice but linen was dirty. We were tired and I didn't want to go back to the desk and ask for a different room. When we checked out at 6am the same clerk was still working but I didn't say anything we were leaving anyway.

Well the best thing to say about this was it was there when we needed a room...the bad..the bed was uncomfortable even for one night and room was hot...couldn't get it cool enough...when leaving discovered how dirty our room really was, I tried to talk to mgmt but got surly counter person, very rude...maybe let them know how there housekeeping was doing...so I'll just add a photo.....I'll just leave this right here....

The room was clean as was the shower, had truck parking with fast food and waffle house within walking distance, would suggest if you're trying to sleep during the daytime request a room at the back of property due to being close to a major hwy, overall was pretty good. Thursday stay.

The lady manager was rude and unprofessional.. I had to call the cooperate office before I left.. 2 other guest stated the same thing.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. These people were rude as ever.. and they treat their staff nasty.. would not recommend.. Try the one by the school instead... America's Best Value Inn Bishopville..... No problems..loved it their...

The pillows had mold all in them. I took the pillowcases off and you could see it. It was gross. Their was mold in the bathroom and on the wall it was not a very nice one. I've slept in some really nice red roofs inn, but I wouldn't let my dogs sleep in this one.

When I walked into the room no bad oder, actually room smelled clean two queen beds. Big room had a nice soft chair. Got Waffle house next door then a McDonald's next to waffle house nice clean shell station and KFC across the street. I would stay at Red Roof again if over that way

I always stay at this hotel while traveling to Indiana. The staff is friendly, the room is clean & I feel safe staying here!

For many most wonderful reasons! It was here where I learned many valuable life long lessons of the heart and as well as the aches of it....

Clean room and relatively quiet too. Staff was friendly, attentive and quick to fix an issue with our bed. Plenty of hot water. I'd bring a towel though as the towels are quite small if you're staying a few days like we did.

Dealing was very nice, organisers were very much cooperative, first small meeting touched to our hears & we enjoyed a very good friendly dealing..

The added second star is only due to the age I was able to capture across the field when I woke up that morning.
Took forever to check in, because the "wifi wasn't working"
They should have written it all down on paper and handled everything AFTER sending us to our rooms ... instead of having to stand outside in the elements in the middle of the night for over an hour.
I wish I could give a higher rating, but I'm totally thrown by the dried vomit or whatever it is that was molding on my bedsheets.

We were traveling with our pet and this inn was pet friendly. The room was filthy, moldy, paint peeling off the wall. The next person that came in with a pet behind us was provided a different location then ours. I am believing that the room given to us was intentional because my wife and I are a mixed couple and she went in to handle the reservation we secured online. When I went down to ask the desk clerk to inspect the room, we were offered a room in the location that the other pet owner was placed in. My goodness the new room was like a Michelin 5 star. I am frustrated with the mentality and practices still being carried out in the 21st century. We gotta do better people. It just don't make sense. It was not the money, it was pet friendly and within the area of family we were visiting.

Growing up as a little girl my mom would tell me if you have nothing Nice to say say nothing at all unfortunately I didn’t always listen to my mother ha ha so my husband and I drove 11 hours from the state of New Jersey to Bishopville South Carolina as we approach the hotel room we noticed that it was directly across from the waffle house it was 4 o’clock in the morning and it was resemblance of a hip hop strip club video …..as we enter the hotel room we were greeted with hairs in the bathroom sticky substance on the floor cigarette holes in the sheet I guess I do not have to go any further I would suggest that you look for a more comparable affordable clean and sanitary environment to lay your head in addition to the next morning when I woke up my lips are swollen and I had to go get medication I would definitely hope that someone in corporate reads this so that you can represent the best red roof Inn or either abandon the one in Bishopville thank you

As soon as we walked in it had this horrible smell of cigarettes the towels had stains and hair on it the people who stayed in our room before us left things in the room and the workers did not clean up before we came.the bathrooms have mold on the ceiling which made the bathroom stink the workers are very lazy and they didn't clean our towels and rags. And the floors was disgusting We came in the room and flies and bug was sleeping with us. And the iron did not work. To make it even worse the chair in the room was broken.Please do not book this hotel.

If I could give them no stars I would! This place is an absolute disgrace! The only thing about the room that was clean thank goodness were the sheets on the bed! It was the most disgusting place I have ever tried to sleep! Had it not been 4 am and I had been driving for hours trying to find somewhere to rent a room and sleep for a little while! I could barely keep my eyes open by time I made it to this disgrace! Mmm dear goodness! Just NASTY! I am not one to write reviews but this place should be shut down! The Lady who was working when I checked in just as kind as could be! The mmm fella that came and beat on my door the next morning bc I had missed check out at 11 by an hour by accident bc I was absolutely exhausted! Then talked to me the way that he did! No sir! I don’t care who you are or think you are you need to be respectful! After I let him know how Nasty the room and his attitude were! I tried to give him a little advice on being a little more polite and to smile! People make mistakes! I accidentally overslept just a little bit I didn’t do anything wrong other than that! Oh and the place was so I’ll just say I went and checked on my car 3 times before I could even go to sleep! Just take my advice and do not stay at this place!

Woke up with over ten bite marks from bed bugs after 2:00 AM in the morning! Went to management, prefer a refund, she talking about I can move you into another room. When entering another room, water was on the bedroom floor, hair on the bathroom walls and shower rod falling off wall!!! The only reason I stayed was because we can’t get another room at that hour! 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Place has gone down hill after new management. You’re better off driving a few more miles to Florence or Camden.

New owner refused to honor a refund for us vacating a room because we were eaten up by bed bugs. Previous manager approved the refund, new manager said he was calling to approve the refund thru priceline. All lies. He called and denied the request for refund. Stating he could not do anything because it was under another owner. It was BED BUGS... He also told me they had a long way to go cleaning and getting up to code. Such a liar!!

ZERO STARS. I have three kids and a husband, we all stayed. As it was ONLY thing we could find for the night as we are traveling from VA - TX. I couldn't sleep being so paranoid. First off there was a roach in the bathroom. Big a** hole in the wall. Ceiling paint was peeling horribly, and mold on the ceiling. It was dirty and not properly cleaned. We were denied a refund. I couldn't even walk into the bathroom without feeling just overwhelmed with disgust. Bullet hole in the door it seems they tried to paint over. Not a safe area. I will be contacting red roof corp, or something. Having a child who has severe asthma, all I could do was worry. People who have rated this place good, HAD to of been paid a $5 to write one. Can't imagine the other rooms if mine was like this. Room 111.... I have NO IDEA, how this place even passed inspection. Bet the people who run it sleep in the same kinda environments, or just don't give 2 heck's.
